Cheers for the review, I just bought my son's Assault off him a carb model of 2016 be nice to see if the box section swinging arm fits when this one wears out. Lexmoto/Chinese bikes have come on since the early days about 15yrs ago.
Thanks for the review, I’m by no means a professional rider but I never put the bike in neutral unless I’m parking it, just does not feel safe, I’m thinking of getting one of those, cheers
Its a good bike and cheap to replace parts on it. But if you can afford the better brands go for them mate. Nothing wrong with the lexmoto but overall ride quality you can get better rides for sure. If you get the chance ask for test rides mate. But if a cheap price is what you need this bike is great for that
I have the keeway RKF 125 and hate the riding position and the footrest position to high and to far back, I am thinking of swapping it for one one these
@@adrenalinemotorcyclist1214 yeah it went good, got my cbt, and got the bike, had it for a while now, sorta came off it last week, and broke a few things but loving it, upto almost 2000 miles now
@@thescrub2570 I think I only owned 2 bikes out of about 7 or so that I didn't crash. It happens man, I'm sure on the CBT courses they said "When you crash" lol when talking about getting a helmet. Mate give it a bit of a ride on some off road and you will be more confident. But start slow, its worth it and free on green lanes
Do you have to leave this bike to warm up b4 setting off today I started it and set off strait away and it cut out then started after like 4 attempts any idea ???
I'd say it's best to let any small cc bike warm up first anyway. Could be you just stalled it maybe? Or maybe your just exactly right and it needed to be warmed up a bit more first.
Well with lexmoto you should have enough for a bus ride home and replacement motorbike entirely compared to a Honda lol in case of accident. Honestly I rode these quite far and have seen them ride through Europe before to Italy. But I'd recommend using a different set of tyres than the standard ones if doing that. They are slightly more set up for light trail riding than road riding. Seriously though, what's not to like about them. Cheap replacement parts, cheap fuel price, cheap everything and I really thrashed mine and it never let me down. So aslong as the tyres were swapped out prior to travel, don't knock the bike. Always someone who's owned one is gonna know about it's reliability. This with the fuel injection system works perfect, when lexmoto use to have carbs they were unreliable in those days. Euro 4 restrictions fixed that for everyone.
Mine is destroyed haha. A victim of the Storm Brendon. The wind blew it down and damaged it to a point where I can't afford to repair it. It's unfortunate but I did a lot with it. I'll get back into bikes again, but I've lost like 4 in the past 2 years so it's not encouraging for me.
@@scannaunderscore1 Well it's a trail bike. It's not meant for top speeds. It's good off road, on road it feels like riding on marbles in the rain. It's not a crap bike at all

If while stationery you can't select gear roll forwards just a bit and it should select 👍
That's right, its designed to be on neutral or first gear before you stop

I'm convinced I'm going to get an Assault now. Thanks.

getting a new 70 plate one, in about 3 weeks time, so its gonna be good
How did it go? I apologize I didn't see your comment before. Did you buy one in the end?

What’s the price of this bike in 2019?
The bird was a red kite 😀
Awesome, I remember it was quite massive
was it a good bike? I'm looking to get this when I'm 17 for commuting to college.
How Reliable was it?
@@taylorpreston8502 It's reliable. But if you aren't going off road. Get the zsxr as that's better for commuting
Is there a fuel reserve switch or fuel cut of I carnt seem to find mines on it my bike is a 2020
No, there used to be on the carb models in the past. These are fuel injected and have no reserve tank, just has what it has
Adrenaline Motorcyclist thank you for you replies also is there is no chock on theses bike is that rite
@@kinghabib2770 No choke. These electric fuel injected bikes don't use them as the efi manages the fuel/air for you

@@kinghabib2770 It's alright mate, if the bikes new then it could be that it's also due to breaking in period aswell possibly.
Let it warm up for 5min my isca does this when I don't let it warm up my isca is a year old and I work about 2miles away so got very low mileage 2,680
I wouldn’t travel to far on that unless I had my bus fair home, hehe

I'm a heavy breather aswell, imagine the effort I need to put in for you guys with gentle ears but who like how bikes sound hahaa.
I'm surprised it's still in one piece 🤣
Mines not, storm Brendan destroyed it earlier in the year lol. All my bikes always get destroyed within 5 months because of various things.
Sounds like a chainsaw.
Hahaha yeah. It's not that bad, sounds different in real life.
