Seriously have to say that Monica Lewinsky has come a long way to grow into an incredible woman she is today ! If there is a man in her life that man is truly a lucky person to have Monica in their life .

Thank you so much for sharing! I admire you two so much, and I'm so grateful for your willingness to bring past trauma to light. Personally, I've still got some work to do, but I'm comforted with the fact that more and more people are coming forward to talk about it in a public venue. You are loved! :)

Alan..read the Body keeps the score by Bessel Van kolk also Peter Levine ..that will explain somatic therapy..its just the idea that our experiences particularly unprocessed or repressed memories are stored in the body.Btw your memoir was excellent, incredibly sad but an incredible testimony of surviving some terrible things.

Its great to have all these different therapies...problem is they are so unavailable to so many people...if only more people had access to good support networls and therapeutic interventions..thats why AA and so on is so amazing because its free even though it might not be for everyone, its changes millions of peoples lives

Admire these two, but having a good support network is not easy. Therpy isn't cheap, and I feel like they glossed over that. It would be good to discuss other methods of self care for those who struggle financially. No hate just an observation. I liked hearing them talk and their bond is very sweet.
