Calling the Gerudo the "Jerudo" is right up there with calling Ganondorf "Janondorf". Yes, there is a person out there that does this. ...So, the whole idea behind the Stone Mask is that it doesn't make you invisible; it makes you uninteresting. So much so that people will acknowledge you exist, and then pay you absolutely no mind because they immediately are compelled to find you absolutely boring. The soldier you get the mask from alludes to this, as he says he's called for help from multiple passerbys, but none payed him any mind. The Stone Mask text upon attaining it also says that when you wear it, people will find you "as interesting as a stone."

Sony made the Dualshock a year later and it's just like. . . . put the Analog stick right under the d-pad. Where else would it go? lmfao In fact, you can have a second analog stick by the face buttons as a treat Left side sacrifices nothing, but it'd be short a C-button, in terms of replicating N64 control in games. One, because say, Right-C could be substituted on to R1, but Up-C is left to the wayside (Not that I've ever played any N64 games with a controler. That's crazy. [Side eyes nervously]) I guess it could be R3 (or tapping the right analog stick)
Unless you were an arcade sports game, side-scroller, fighting game, wrestling game, Pokemon Stadium/Puzzle League or Kirby, there were rarely ever any N64 games that prioritized D-Pad and the L button more than the analog stick and Z, much less simultaneously. Even then it's usually one part of the controller being required while the other was either an option or a gameplay mechanic that doesn't ask you to constantly switch grips.🤔
About the N64 controller debate, right now i can remember Pokemon Stadium 1 and 2 minigames and all the Mario Party games that use the dpad and analog at the same time, but i remember there are a few more.
