I loved this movie from the first time I saw it and went back to the theaters 6 more times to see it. It's way better than what the Henry Cavill Superman movies are. Wish we could have gotten Bryan Singer's complete trilogy.
Ikr. This movie has so much depth to it. Henry and amy's chemistry feels so forced. But this is just like fluid. Superman doesn't necessarily have to be about just action, it's about the feelings. I like Brandon Routh's superman the most because he has the accurate looks and personality for it. Superman is strong but there's a vulnerability to his character which Brandon portrays perfectly. Henry is too bold.
@@AK-vb9fv Exactly! Do you know if we"ll see Brandon again any time soon?
The part that always gets to me is Martha, Superman's mom standing outside holding vigil and she can't let on who she really is... Protecting his identity no matter what.
0:54 Not only indestructible skin, but skin that sends electricity back into the reciever
Careful! He’s a hero.
Out Of (ALL) The Superman Movies....This One Is My Favorite!
Really I want to salute to Brandon Routh, because of his superman acting skills. Such a great actor.
Cut the best and most important part; his son giving him a kiss and waking him up...
All time favorite 😊
😊
It's just unthinkable! Exciting! Awesome to see something like it. Superman being rescued by civilians.
This is what happened when the atom tried being Superman for a day
He saved thousands of people, lifted a big fuck off island of Kryptonite and defeated lex Luthor at the same time... He did a damn good job to me 🤷♂️
Making Monsters but look what happened
... Exactly what you'd expect to happen to him 😂😂 Henry Cavills version wouldve died as would Christopher Reeves version
Making Monsters you know Reeves and Rouths version is supposed to be the same Superman right? Hence why Superman Returns is in the Reeves box set?
@@N3O1999 exactly that's why I've said what I've said. Any superman would've died doing what Rouths/Reeves' Superman did 😂😂
even if he was truly dead, his body, his cells, they're incapable of decay.
We can see him again in crisis on infinite earths cw show
One off the best super man movie ever made
One of the best superman movie 🎥
I have always love this movie. All of the actors and actresses played their role so well... Just not sure why the critics keeps crapping all over it...
Doctor are the real life superhero. THEY ARE TRYING TO SAVE SUPERMAN. Badass.
Get This: If Superman's powers come from the UV radiation of the sun, what do you suppose would've happened if they put him in a tanning bed?
Maybe the same effect? But believe the sun would be much more efficient should just put him up amd put onto the sun to heal up say take him to somewhere like the desert? Lol heal up hella quicj
@@m4rdoo Maybe, but given doctors' general mentality that recovering from fatal injuries shouldn't be forced, doing what you suggest might be considered rushing things. They'd probably try the tanning bed first because it would allow them to gradually control how much UV radiation enters his body so he can recover more carefully.
@@m4rdoo Personally what I would've done is tried the tanning bed first to gradually recover some of his strength, then if he doesn't recover at all, strip him of his clothing and drive him in Death Valley CA. Even if it does work, I would still recommend he be driven to Death Valley to train (albeit not naked like the former suggestion since he'd be recovering), and would recommend him not fly there and strain himself until the world is satisfied that he's recovered enough.
TH-cam be like: 2017 nah, 2018 umm still nah, 2019 wait, September 2019 lets put this in his recommendation
This movie needs a sequel.
Superman Returns was a great film- much better than Man of Steel, let's be real. It needs more recognition and respect!
00:46 that's why they call him superman😍🤩🤩👊👊💪💪💪🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This is the missing cut scene clips where batman killed superman.
Where's the cut scene from after batman got bitch slapped then thrown like a ragdoll?
In justice league
When I watched this movie, in the middle through it, I could feel Lois' misery for Superman couldn't be hers alone.
She might win his love but she couldn't have him for herself
The doctors thinking when Superman died. ‘We tried to save Superman. But he died. It our fault. Doctors are going to have a bad reputation now.’
Sucks how the studios never give Superman movies a chance to flesh themselves out. All we get is Batman, Batman and more Batman.
It makes me feel Sad😭
Love This Movie, Brandon Routhe did Excellent!!
Loved this movie. He made a much better Superman than Cavill. At least this guy could act.
*wHy dId YoU sAy tHaT NaMe*
The scene before that, where he fell down from the sky was chilling.
He’s my favorite Superman ever
Superman fell from space yet his suite did not burn off. And the lady thought she will give a kiss of life & he will wake up right on.
Mommy, is he gonna get better?
I don't know, is your acting?
@@theonlyethanhiroshiki He's 7 because the writers made him 7. He could have been 10, and taught how to act.
This death scene had more impact than the one in Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice.
TheJuice True. I didn't feel shit when Superman died in BvS. This one didn't really made me cry either, but it's something.
I love it now alright? Bye love lynton
TheJuice it's lynton I love it now alright bye love lynton
Agreed.
Actually, Superman's death in BvS had way bigger impact than this. I think it was all about the execution. Ppl found it 'bad' bc it was way more realistic, and totally darker than this. Enjoyed both nonetheless
they don't know his physiology.
Given that small shard of Kryptonite, could you imagine if they tried using it as a scalpel or whatever tool they needed? Just an interesting concept cos I know Batman did an operation on Superman once with a Kryptonite scalpel or something
Hope Never Dies..
