    I’m looking to buy a foaming pump sprayer as I don’t want to have to hook up my electric power washer or even a model that you need a garden hose for. I know that they won’t come close to matching the foam quality of a power washer model. I’m leaning towards the IK as I think I could buy it locally and return it easier if I don’t like it. Question. Can I use ordinary car wash soaps with it? Videos talk about products containing surfactants are needed. I’m hoping the car wash products I have would foam up properly.

  • @BigCarKilla
    @BigCarKilla ปีที่แล้ว +7

    A massive omission is the amount of pressure the Marolex can retain over the IK means you have a longer work time after pumping a bit longer, so you don’t have a lot of interrupted application.

      @@ericfranke1637 exactly. The Marolex carries a lot more pressure, and also foams for longer. The Marolex could have been pumped up a lot more before hitting the pressure vent. Hence, omission.

      The less liquid in the container, the more space for pressurized air. So, you'll need to add more pumps as you reduce the liquid, but you'll have to "re-pump" less often. If she needed 40 at the beginning, it will be more than 40 later, assuming she bleeds the pressure down to 0.

    Chelsea, by chance (didn’t see) have you done one to compare the larger capacities iK20, against the Marolex Axel 7000? Wondering if hand pumping is worth it or if the iK20 or iKe20 (battery) with Schrader valve (and small electric tire pump) might be the way to go.
    Like many, I’d really like the thicker stay-put foam that the hose-pressure foamers just won’t do, and cannot do the seemingly necessary expensive/space-hog pressure-washer. Either of these, then, could be an affordable/tidy and viable option?

    You're not comparing apples to apples if you don't use the same type internal spray tips provided by both sprayers. The external tip is not what dictates the foam density. The internal changable tips are what do this. Also the foam density will determine the how much pressure and liquid are used in a given time frame.

    I like you! :) Nice comparison.
    pH of 14 means it's most likely very caustic, watch out with that stuff, use gloves at least! And some goggles. Maybe even a respirator...
    I always recommend Optimum Power Clean. Way (WAY) more expensive, but it's só powerful yet só gentle and safer/healthier to work with. Of course you still want to take appropiate pre-cautions with that as well.
    Just some friendly 'advice' from this 'keyboard warrior', hope it helps.

      I recently received my iK Foamer Pro 2 from The Rag Company and its crap. It spray foam but not in a V-shape pattern like her video shows. Im looking to return it or exchange it but quite honestly I wouldn’t trust an iK product anymore. Quality is not the best IMO

      @@LaughOutLouie88 Same problem here, everybody raves about the IK Foamer but I find mine absolutely useless, you pump it about 30 times to pressurize it, and hardly anything comes out with any force, very disappointed with product.

      @@sanmiguel4019 ok. So it turns out you’ll have to play with the attachments a bit interchange them and test out your favorite foaming cleaner of choice. My foams ok now. Still dont like how many pumps it requires for a few seconds of foam.
