    Look at you using two hands! I'm always wondering how much faster you'd get through these jobs if you weren't providing all the awesome content for us.

      It would be much quicker without the videos for sure..

    I have a 07 Raptor 50 for my daughter and ran into the same issues. Bought it after it was sitting for years and the jets are so small that I couldnt clean them so bought new. They were clogged. Fuel line cracked when trying to take the carb off. Also the 90 degree intake that bolts to the motor. The O-ring that is on the motor side was cracked so replaced that. After all of this I finally got it to run pretty decent. Love the videos

      Glad you got it running good for your daughter! The pilot jets are extremely small on these little engine and the 50 is even smaller!

    I got a 1990 yamaha champ 100 it use to run like a dream! Starting to be abit of a hard starter. I went through the carb and installed new orings so i had no air leaks! Think its time to check the valves!

    • @rockspowersports
      @rockspowersports  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Might be a good idea to check them.

    Nice work Rock ! Just performed this surgery on my 10yr old nephews 06 Raptor 90 a cpl wks ago . Aside from having to descale the inside of the metal fuel tank , machine goes well ! Wish'd Yamaha would have used a plastic Tank ! Took about 1\2 gal of old fuel out & about 1\2 cup or more of rust ....was NASTY ! Surprised the tank came out as well as iot did , installed new filter obviously & sent home w another to change later . The carb & petcock had a nice bath in the Ultrasonic ...lol

    These are the best engines to work on very easy . None of that new electrical computer bull crap an nonsense. Just a good old engine with tappet adjustable valves and a carb and a lil ignition system that’s basic

    When you were putting the carb back together I noticed you screwed the fuel/air screw all the way in, arnt you supposed to back it up some?🤔

    When you installed the jets did you count the turns? Or do you just tighten them? Never touched the jets in my daughter’s 90. Thanks

    • @rockspowersports
      @rockspowersports  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The plot jet and main jet just get screwed in all the way. The air fuel mixture screw is the one you need to count the turns on.
