There are at least two more epic ones tied to the same questline. Ox folks, you're gonna want to read this one if you like dragons and like purple. And I know at least some of you love dragons and love purple. If you talk to Thiollier near the Pillar Path Cross grace, he'll tell you about how he's good with poisons. Talk to Moore near the Main Gate grace and he'll give you Black Syrup. Give that to Thiollier and he gives you Thiollier's Concoction... Which kills you instantly if you drink it. But wait, there's more! He says it's powerful enough to bring sleep to even the oldest of dragons... And he's not even slightly exaggerating. As it happens, there is none other than an "oldest of dragons" standing right next to the Grand Altar of Dragon Communion - the dragon priestess Florissax, who has not slept for aeons as she offers her sleep up every night to the Dragonlord Placidusax. Hmm... Well, normally, if you defeat Bayle the usual way, when you return to the altar Florissax is dead; she leaves behind her weapon, the Flowerstone Gavel, as well as her heart that can turn you into a dragon priestess like her. But if you come to her at night you can hear her speaking to Placidusax about the whole sleep thing (or accept her blessing and read the item description to find that out). If you give her the concoction, it'll put her to sleep. Wait a whole day and come back, and she'll be sad that she's broken her oath and succumbed to sleep. Beat Bayle and come back, and... She's still there, and gives you the Dragonbolt of Florissax spell. But then you can admit to putting her to sleep. If you do so... She'll say you owe her. Owe her what? A Lord to follow, because you took away her pact with her old one. And she's decided you're it, and you don't get a choice in the matter. So you ALSO get her as a spirit ash. That talks! The second secret involves Thiollier's questline. If you go all the way down south to the giant hole in the ground, it'll be sealed at first. If you come back after Miquella breaks his great rune though, the seal is gone. As it happens, down there is a little trek through horrible undead and even more horrible laser-shooting evergaol rock snakes... But if you survive that trip AND the boss fight at the end, you'll find none other than St. Trina herself. Go back and tell Thiollier and he'll go to her. But when he's there... He can't get to sleep. And all you can do is interact with St. Trina... Which kills you instantly. Of course. It is ETERNAL sleep (except for the respawning bit). What's a Tarnished to do? Keep drinking, of course! Just keep drinking and dying, and eventually Trina will speak to you in your death-dreams. After a few extra lines of dialogue, you can tell Thiollier... But he'll be so mad he refuses to listen. And then he invades you at the grace outside. Beat him there and then you'll finally get to tell him the message inside Trina's garden. Eventually, he'll accept it - he shows up later as an ally at the end of the DLC. Then at the end he gives up his weapon and armor. Quest complete! Except for one tiny detail. Go back to Trina... And she'll thank you before disappearing, leaving behind a beautiful purple lily headpiece that raises your FP by 6%. Impeccable for fashion ring!
This is definitely the quest line that's currently most obscure. It's a shame that Florissax seems to be a pretty weak spirit summon, but on the other hand this also means you can get her every time and just have her around to hype you up, without needing to worry about her making bosses easier. Nice ones! There's even a follow-up to giving the Iris of Grace to Jolán; because after recieving her spirit ash you can go to a certain tower and ask Anna to 'join' the spirit ash so you can a combo of both as a spirti ash 🙂
For me, the dead giant dragon at the Dragon Altar was so cool. Though I may be biased as I really really like the whole behemoth thing and seeing large creatures with a sense of scale to them is my favorite.
You don't need to choose between Jolan and Queelign if you want to give them Iris of Occultation or Grace. There are 2 of these items each in the DLC, just make sure not to use them yourself until you're done with Jolan and Queelign.
Usually I learn something for these videos but this time I learned nothing, these were all easy to find, I found them all and beat the dlc in 40ish hours.
the irises of grace and occultation also act as a rune arc, with the iris of occultation taking all of your possessed rune on activation. the ideal way is to give both irises of occultation away to both npcs, since their respective weapons are better than their respective ashes, and then keep the irises of grace as backup rune arcs
There's more to Jolan's quest as well. If you give her the iris of grace (and there's more than one in the DLC, so you can get both hers and Queelign's summons) and get her summon, you can then take it to the top of Rabbath's rise (you have to jump down on it from the hidden shaman village) and reunite her with her sister Anna. Then you get a summon called Jolan & Anna which is much better. 🙂
You can jump down from the shaman village onto the top floor of the mage tower. You can find the other sister there, who is a puppet. This turns the ash summon into a duo.
4:19 was this a "roll only for movement" playthrough? The irony that, after ALL of the rolling, you still got hit by the attack that went after you lmao
I see everyone making this mistake about the stone shef sword. The altars are in the same places but depending on which one you go to first you'll get the sword then the other two will give you the light and dark sword
So Scadutree is literally just prounanced as shadow tree? Why the hell didnt Fromsoft didnt just called it shadow tree? Would have saved alot of headache.
they didnt mention Euphoria has 3 phase the first is what the showed, the spin to win attack. But as you attack the blades will continue to glow more intensely. phase 2 lasers will shot out the the spin attack and phase 3 a holy comet asur will blast out
It's very upsetting watching these videos because I've come up with some creepy things but I never could have thought of mother of fingers. It's wonderfully horrible and I just can't quite make anything like it

Nice ones! There's even a follow-up to giving the Iris of Grace to Jolán; because after recieving her spirit ash you can go to a certain tower and ask Anna to 'join' the spirit ash so you can a combo of both as a spirti ash 🙂
Looks like Andy rocked SoNaF the entire game.
Settled. Next playthrough is going to be madness based
“A jerk in a pig” is an understatement. My description starts with a c.
I will keep pronouncing it "ska-doo" until they spell it "Schadu"
Usually I learn something for these videos but this time I learned nothing, these were all easy to find, I found them all and beat the dlc in 40ish hours.
Andy in the DLC with only a +7 flask is making me feel sympathy pains. Ouch.
Regarding number 5, you can indeed choose to give both characters one type of iris. You can actually find two of each throughout the lands of shadow.
I most say, finally meeting St. Trina and seeing it's a human/flower hybrid surprised me a lot
the irises of grace and occultation also act as a rune arc, with the iris of occultation taking all of your possessed rune on activation.
the ideal way is to give both irises of occultation away to both npcs, since their respective weapons are better than their respective ashes, and then keep the irises of grace as backup rune arcs
Love the humor, worth a like and subscribe 😂🎉
I'm surprised you didn't go one layer deeper and tell us what happens when you tailor Ymir's clothes.
I found the Stone-Sheathed Sword in the Ruins of Unte and the Altar of Darkness in Fog Rift Catacombs.
This looks savage (I have never played any Elden Ring game) and frustrating at the same time.
I wonder if it’s possible for a DLC to get Game of the Year, because honestly this might be in the running
I feel like it would at least receive an honorable mention given its quality and size.
@8:20 "is that not how you greet your Mother?" 😂😂😂
You can jump down from the shaman village onto the top floor of the mage tower. You can find the other sister there, who is a puppet. This turns the ash summon into a duo.
I enjoyed fighting metyr, mother of fingers. The background music and overall ambiance of the fight sa so good.
You can add Anna's to Jolien's spirit ashes if you climb to the top of Rabbaths from the Shaman village and find Anna's puppet
Bro the design of that last boss is SO cool holy shit
I really hope they make another DLC
4:19 was this a "roll only for movement" playthrough?
The irony that, after ALL of the rolling, you still got hit by the attack that went after you lmao
Looked like an initial pull (or close to it) where he was just trying to survive enough to see a few of the moves he needed to learn.
@@abydosianchulac2Or trying to stay alive long enough to get decent footage for the video?
@@aimeeg4809 True, he didn't have the mods Ian used to turn the boss AIs off for the Eurogamer's videos.
The random screaming man in the creepy mansion. I thought ut was a psychicpebbles scream for a second. Lol
Could someone tell me why secret No. 1 is significantly more incredible than secret No. 7?
Oh hey, already found all of these. Neat.
Metyr gave me a Monty Pyhton vibe for some reason. The animations, not the people.
But as you attack the blades will continue to glow more intensely. phase 2 lasers will shot out the the spin attack and phase 3 a holy comet asur will blast out
Try alter Ymir clothes. That way you get even cooler and more unsettling version of it.
What kind of build is Andy/Oxbox using in this video? Looks fun as hell
I don't know about DLC, but the base game has this epic boss hidden down a hole named Rick.
you can parry those creepy winterlanterns to get some secret goodies
It's very upsetting watching these videos because I've come up with some creepy things but I never could have thought of mother of fingers. It's wonderfully horrible and I just can't quite make anything like it
I was able to use iris of grace on the twins as well as that invader guy, i have them both as summons now
Torrent knows what they’re about
Revealed you cvan get Jolan as a summon but not that you can find a double of her hidden at the top of the wizard tower below shaman village and all that, and you can combine them into a double team summon
Not enough fingers. Ymir's armor can be altered to have a bunch of fingers coming out of the chest.
There are 2 of each iris. You can definitely get both ashes or weapons.
I'm still mourning the fact that I went back into Elden Ring to polish my skills, saved ny game and put ny ps5 into rest mose, not knowing that apparently there's a glitch that causes that to scrub your save and for some reason the onlyy cloud save back up I have is from when I was level 29 and was still running around unlocking stiff around Limgrave. I'm trying very hard to reignite my enthusiasm to get my Tarnished back to being and boss wrecking bad@$$.
10:47 completely missed the chance to make the joke calling matyr one tough mother
Your useing euporia wrong, if you attack enemys it charges up with light and once it reaches its max charge the ash of war will shoot a massive laser
to be honest, the way to open the door to the hinterlands doesn't seem terribly convoluted for a from soft game.
Angriest deadliest sunflower ever? What about Flowey?
Hey! You leave King Bulbin alone! He's doing the best he knows how!🤣💜
😎🍻😎
There are two of each iris in the game so you can get both spirit ash or both weapons.
Thought I found everything... Turns out I missed the divine bird warrior spirit ashes.
I assumed they were just the horned warriors lol also got their armor set aswell.
I also missed the teleporter in scadu Altus that leads to the divine bird warrior in the ruins on the top left of the map.
Wonder what else I missed?
That is how everyone should greet their mother
Ah, the real reason Luke Westaway left... He didn't wanna capture footage for Shadow of the Erdtree for them.
If you ever do a part 2, St Trina
