This is EPIC! Warner failed us to cancelled or archived any piece of media related to Batman Beyond, but it is AMAZING that the fans make stuff like this. This is AWESOME!
This is everything I have ever wanted for Batman Beyond. Whoever designed this batsuit was a genius to be able to translate the original 2D design to something both flashy and practical. The rest of the costumes look amazing too. The story and background designs are also really well done.
I know Ryan Potter originally wanted to be Robin when auditioning for Titans, and he trained super hard for it, but ultimately got the role of Beast Boy instead, which probably felt like a slap in the face. So, he must be so proud and excited to play as a BATMAN of all characters, and finally put his Bat-training to use! He probably never would've imagined he'd ever have this opportunity!

@@nighthawk2548 Have you watched the "Batman Beyond" Series this fan film fits right in. Its got the charm that Terry brings with the jokes. The Joker gang is campy just like in the show. Melanie's design is pretty accurate. Bruce speaks just like he should, probably will scold Terry when he returns to the Batcave. Its exactly what it needs to be & the small preview into Neo Gotham is what it should look like.
@jakehorror799 Brother if an actual movie came out with a script like this, it would be torn apart by the internet and bomb at the box office. If you genuinely think that this is good writing, you're quite simply delusional.
@@nighthawk2548 I don't think Batman Beyond works as a solo film. It always worked as a show because you get several stories over a set of episodes which would be difficult with that universe. This also is a short fan film, Im pretty sure they can provide more & it will slowly get better overtime. You can see the potential.

I see a lot of potential in this. I appreciate the devotion of the costume design and hair people showed to the original looks. The more I studied Terry's actor the more I thought he looked like him "and" all the actors or their stunt doubles really pulled off the martial arts aspect. Well done.
This is exactly what I dreamed for a live action Batman Beyond movie! The action, visuals and casting were top notch, not to mention the production and set design was amazing quality! Well done to everyone involved in this project!
This was absolutely amazing! As a Terry/Beyond fan growing up I know speak on behalf of us all when I say thank you to the cast and crew responsible for bringing Neo Gotham to life!!! ❤
Well that was a delight! Enjoyed this better than the last two Batman films, the last two Bat themed shows, and the two of the last Bat themed games (SS & GK). Chemistry between all actors was great. Terry's was spot on and I like Ten and the big bad. The fight scene was better than the last several in film. And I'd be surprised if that wasn't Roger Craig Smith as Bruce.
This is solid. Reminded me of watching some early Bat in the Sun stuff. I agree with everyone else about the building jump / gliding part. His little off balance wobble was a great touch. Really hope you're all able to make another!
okay at first i wasn’t sure about ryan potter being terry (mainly because he did a good job as beast boy and at the time i couldn’t see him play other characters aside from him). but after this, MAKE THIS MAN TERRY IN THE DCU DAMMIT

I'm honestly getting pretty tired of everyone complaining about the VFX of the _Flash_ movie. Not just because the criticism is FREAKING EVERYWHERE, but considering the whole post-production process of that film was a chaotic shit-show (due to constant changes in direction by the heads of WB), I feel it's unfair to the VFX artists who had to be put through all that to just shit on their work; work that even they're not proud of.

It looks really good and I absolutely LOVED IT ! The design of the suit, the fight scenes, the CGI and the sound design/mix (sound mixer here so ofc I listened carefully lol) is great ! However it feels short. It feels like the beginning of the second act of a feature film and not a full short film. And because of that, I was kinda disapointed at the end. I was like "already ? but it just started" GREAT job tho, FANTASTIC even !
This was awesome! The choreography was great, the CGI was seamless. Getting Ryan Potter as Terry was a great choice, and I love that Roger Craig Smith voiced older Bruce Wayne (he's my second favorite Batman VA)! All in all, a stellar fan project. Hopefully WB will start showing Terry some more love.
prolly the best effects and structured fight scenes I've seen from an indie fan film ever, especially a BB one. great stuff! --the acting/pacing needs work, can't really say I'd expect Terry to be as cheerful in demeanour, and Melanie started talking abt family drama WAY too fast, he just asked her out didn't he?
Michael Yu, this project was clearly a deep passion of yours with you, the cast & crew, putting it to screen PERFECTLY. Your love for the world and characters is rooted in this short with very specific attention paid to the dialogue and setting, making it feel so much greater than a simple fan-film. It felt true to the source material. Bruce and Terry's exchanges put such a smile on my face. The locations/sets, lighting, cinematography, editing, colouring, stunts & choreography, costumes, acting, and score were all executed to perfection given your limits as indie film makers. Notably, and where I believe the majority of praise belongs, is the VFX! Nick, Neil, and the entire effects team earn a massive hug from me because they killed it. Batman's flight (the wings and boosters) were amazing but what I loved most was the attention to deatil with the batarangs, gadgetry, and NEO GOTHAM! I hope to see this take off and lead to another short from you and the team.
I was here! What a phenomal short film. I have no idea how the Neo Gotham scenes were made but they look incredible and though I do think the acting is a little robotic / forced and could use some work, this was all really well done and the fighting also exceeded my expectations
Im starting to feel like entertainment companies today are just trying to throw stuff out there and hope it makes money instead of trying to actually entertain people, movies and music. Where as independent companies for music and film are doing a way better job with less budget, less technology and are still able to dedicate their passion for art and entertain us more. I never watched much of Batman beyond so i cant speak on it. But what i CAN say, from what i just watched, this was a great concept. 💯 To the film crew and cast.....please keep up the good work.
This is absolutely phenomenal, and does the Batman Beyond property justice. The casting is flawless, and everything about this just feels like it was truly made by fans of Batman Beyond. I WISH this would get a full-feature release one day, cause you all nailed it!
This is proof of how amazing a live action Batman Beyond movie could be. I feel like this fan film perfectly captures the essence/vibe of Batman Beyond in such a beautifully short amount of time. @@dynaguy3 Given that he just has a few voice roles it would have been very quick for him to record
W
I could tell it was him, and he's getting on that age to play future Bruce too! The one on his 50s at the beginning of the animated series
impressive. just impressive. Dave Cullen was very right about this video, it´s quality and the talent of the actors.
WB, take notes. Imagine a Batman Beyond film with a good budget. Imagine how many million copies a BB game will sell. Ryan Potter did a great job not only looking like Terry McGinnis, but also he sounded like Will Friedle. Good job on the short everyone!
WB loves not making money. Like seriously how have they not made a Batman Beyond movie
yea if they wanted money they would have done a deathstroke 10 years ago, ffs
THE BATRANGS 7:10 - 7:25 one of my favorites Batman´s gagets, it looks like the animated series It´s perfection again
I see a lot of potential in this. I appreciate the devotion of the costume design and hair people showed to the original looks. The more I studied Terry's actor the more I thought he looked like him "and" all the actors or their stunt doubles really pulled off the martial arts aspect. Well done.
With Roger Craig smith voicing Bruce I’d be interested to see how they’d explain Ryan potter as Terry being Bruce’s clone/son
Ryan Porter doing this is incredible, i know the guy has a love for comics
I don't know how they found a guy who looks like a cartoon character
This is exactly what I dreamed for a live action Batman Beyond movie! The action, visuals and casting were top notch, not to mention the production and set design was amazing quality! Well done to everyone involved in this project!
Dear Lumis Entertainment, as a batman fan myself when i was little to young adult now I really want more of this. a series needs to happen!🙂
.... the best fan film or 2024
This or Logan the wolf
Top 2 for sure
@@panduzz.what I was thinking
Fr
2nd best. You also have Logan the Wolf
The choreography in this is so peak
It definitely is top notch
This was absolutely amazing! As a Terry/Beyond fan growing up I know speak on behalf of us all when I say thank you to the cast and crew responsible for bringing Neo Gotham to life!!! ❤
Facts
Well that was a delight! Enjoyed this better than the last two Batman films, the last two Bat themed shows, and the two of the last Bat themed games (SS & GK). Chemistry between all actors was great. Terry's was spot on and I like Ten and the big bad. The fight scene was better than the last several in film. And I'd be surprised if that wasn't Roger Craig Smith as Bruce.
This is solid. Reminded me of watching some early Bat in the Sun stuff. I agree with everyone else about the building jump / gliding part. His little off balance wobble was a great touch. Really hope you're all able to make another!
okay at first i wasn’t sure about ryan potter being terry (mainly because he did a good job as beast boy and at the time i couldn’t see him play other characters aside from him). but after this, MAKE THIS MAN TERRY IN THE DCU DAMMIT
he initially auditioned for tim drake in the dcu but they gave him over to the tv department to play gar. it’s incredible to see him go from wanting to play a robin to playing a BATMAN!
As Filmmaker and script writer, I can say this one of the best Fan Film, I ever see in the last 7 years..... good luck in the next film ....
Need a whole movie. Liked this
I just watched a recap for the entire Bat-Man Beyond series, and this film hit just right!
Better cgi than The Flash 💀
I'm honestly getting pretty tired of everyone complaining about the VFX of the _Flash_ movie.
Not just because the criticism is FREAKING EVERYWHERE, but considering the whole post-production process of that film was a chaotic shit-show (due to constant changes in direction by the heads of WB), I feel it's unfair to the VFX artists who had to be put through all that to just shit on their work; work that even they're not proud of.
@ have you seen it?
@@misticbearyes. And while it has some objectively bad VFX, I still hate harping on the fact that it does. And I'm sick of everyone else harping on it.
@@cjkalandek996Bro too bad. Deal with it. People are allowed to have their opinions.
@@cjkalandek996 ok? the film looks terrible, its a billion dollar company and they cant make decent looking cgi, i dont give a single fuck is they were in concentration camps doing the cgi its still terrible
the acting, the fighting, the suit....everything was excellent!
I was like "already ? but it just started"
GREAT job tho, FANTASTIC even !
Looks like trash cosplay with AI cgi. TH-cam commenters will suck up to anything….
Awesome stuff! Whoever voiced Bruce Wayne sounded so much like Roger Craig Smith
i think he IS roger craig smith
Still hoping for Keaton doing old Bruce
@@bueno22283 no thanks. RCS was better.
Shoutout to the casting director because this cat actually looks like Terry. Same eyes and everything 😂
I don't know about that..
@@jonathaneast3727yeah you do..
@@TheAnitdotehe's just trying to be different
Let's gooooo!!!! 🦇
Well done those who worked on this, have a good one all, thanks for this. Been a fan of Batman Beyond for ages and this was excellent. 💯
Who was the cast of Bruce Wayne?
@@ozandsaffron770fr he did a pretty good voice
This is everything I wanted!!! Ryan is a FANTASTIC Terry!! I want more!
I need more 🔥 this was fantastic project
THIS IS A MASTERPIECE🦇‼️‼️‼️
This was awesome! The choreography was great, the CGI was seamless. Getting Ryan Potter as Terry was a great choice, and I love that Roger Craig Smith voiced older Bruce Wayne (he's my second favorite Batman VA)! All in all, a stellar fan project. Hopefully WB will start showing Terry some more love.
The effects in this are crazy for a fan film
Action choreography, stunts, background cgi, dialogue all on point, we need weekly episodes of these
prolly the best effects and structured fight scenes I've seen from an indie fan film ever, especially a BB one. great stuff!
I liked the look of Ace of Spades and the Batman Beyond suit, peak fan film!
4:07 THIS LOOKS SO GOOD ALREADY
This is absolutely phenomenal, and does the Batman Beyond property justice. The casting is flawless, and everything about this just feels like it was truly made by fans of Batman Beyond. I WISH this would get a full-feature release one day, cause you all nailed it!
This fan film deserves an award. Finally more Batman Beyond content!
Dudes providing an act of actual service that WB seems to keep neglecting as an actual need by us Batman lovers
This is proof of how amazing a live action Batman Beyond movie could be. I feel like this fan film perfectly captures the essence/vibe of Batman Beyond in such a beautifully short amount of time. From the visuals, to the costume and general world design, to the action, to the acting, everything is just great! Also Ryan Potter as Terry is some damn good casting imo.
Maaaaan! That scene where the thugg shot at Terry and you could see the mask was AMAZING! Literally the best shot in the entire film.
🎉🦇
Congratulations to the crew for making this happen. They really did a great job, very faithful and the performances bring it to life.
Excellent work. Stayed refreshing close to the source material. Very professional outcome. I watched 3 times.
