Brilliant!! :))) this is how passive aggressive behaviour is developed. People should learn to communicate directly and express their emotions because no one reads minds or understand ones feelings unless are told directly. Love it!!
I live in London and people do the same as Americans. It's called "politness" or "politically correctness" yet many are having a handicap when it comes to communicate openly and from the heart.

In Serbia, we would say someone is not passively aggressive he or she is just hypocritical...

I'm half Czech and half English people in the Czech Republic don't care what people think they don't fear confrontation (well not everyone but most) and say it to your face in England there can be people like this but a lot are the complete opposite and before I moved back I didn't fear confontation after comimg back to the UK I lost my confidence through being told to hold my opinion back and keep it to myself "because it will cause problems" this also made my temper lenghen and I ended up letting people walk all over me and nowadays when I really wanna tell someone something and stand up for myself It really takes a while to pick the confidence up and to lose my shit I actually hate the fact that I've lost my confidence in conflict and gained such a shit habbit

Rejection in Serbia: who is your dad/uncle/aunt again? No strings no job!

Couldn't agree more! Although you will find that communication in the NYC area is still considered "direct", compared to the west coast. Here, beating around the bush is on another level :)

Great video of Serbs and Americans. My dad was born in Serbia and my moms people came from Serbia. My dad related to a lot of what you spoke about. They never spoke Serbian around me and my older brother. We lived next to baba, my dads mother. He was the oldest in his family and close to his mom. Most of the time at baba house , she usually told me in Serbian equivaliant ( not sure of spelling) go home go home. Dad used to say Doberman don a lot.

I love this video. I'm from Hungary and in your comparison to the US you could easily replace Serbia with Hungary as we are also talking very directly at all times. I live in the UK and they talk the same like you said in the US.

@@joyfullybrutal774 I guess you didn't deal with many Puerto Ricans, Italians or Jewish folks from that area because usually they are not like that. Those are the largest groups in the NYC area. And they're pretty blunt. That part of the Northeast is very ethnic and we don't really waste time.

You can be soothing without being passive agressive. And you can be assertive without being rude. This just seems like a cultural divergence

Suzi Hazlove it must be a Slavic thing. I have Russian friends who make the same complaint. And sometimes, they can come across as abrasive when all they are doing is being direct.
