I'm glad you keep reiterating that this is a Ninja game at the end of the day, not a Souls game. Approaching it as a Ninja game with really good combat makes it much more enjoyable.
Ninjas were nothing but messangers with self defence skills. Their job was to communicate or deliver without being seen. The samurai were taught to fight and kill. This game is basically a stealth-Samurai game. Look it up. Ninjas were pussies.

Yea playing it again after more than a year and watching this makes it so much more enjoyable because it has a lot more detail than Tenchu ( my fkn fave ). I wish there was a Tenchu 2 custom map community

Lol, I can't tell you the shame I felt watching you kill that boss in like 5 seconds after I've died at least 10 times now fighting him. I think I'm just doing too much dodging and not enough blocking.
I was the same until i was late game and defeated other similar enemies like this in less than 30 seconds. Just need a lot of time and practice with parries dodging and gaining skills.
Wiggle that sword, mate. Instead of just blocking, spam the button. It comes out so fast you'll still block all hits but with a chance of perfectly parrying. And also try different prosthetic tools, every boss is weak to at least one of them.

Trying to figure it out, I honestly like it so far I can't seem to beat some of the harder ppl and haven't even made through the outskirts yet but thAt is also because I am taking super slow
@@ganj9217Dunno if you beat Radahn yet, but a tip for you: Max your Fingerprint Shield and Bloody Helice. Hold L1 to keep shield up and spam R1 to poke with the Helice. Equip the turtle talisman for stamina. Poke, poke, poke, bleed - regain stamina and then repeat. Use Mimic and Ansbach to help and you'll get him. Goodluck!

Bruh I died legit 10 times in the way beginning before meeting Master Kuro for the first time -- I KEPT GETTING SEEN BY THE GUARD. And the other half was me falling to my death as i tried to get to the little hole outside Kuro's room LOL

Been watching your content since the dark souls 2 era and I finally got my hands on sekiro so I thought I'd check out your walkthrough while I play. As always, super fun and entertaining. I like how you keep it simple, to the point and straight forward.
Note to any new players coming to this; a lot of combat arts were patched since the making of this & more tested out, meaning some are incredibly strong when not considered so at the time in the community (e.g. floating passage is very strong now & can be basically turned into “rivers of blood” with bestowal ninjutsu or just melt bosses vitality if you imbue Kusabimaru w/ fire). Checking what’s been updated might help you out on some of the areas/bosses you might be struggling with. Cheers on your journey playing through this masterpiece & following the walkthrough 🍻
Around 5:15 when he picks up that first item past the checkpoint, if you look down you'll see a ledge you can drop to. You will take fall damage, about half. There is a cave with a Jizo statue in it and you can then rope over to the area just below the old lady's house.
Now these are truly walk throughs ..I see so many garbage "walkthroughs" that are play through maybe .thanks for the great content ..finally got this game and this is helping me get a tiny edge before I explore on my own. Elden ring was my first real souls / FromSoftware games and now I'm hooked

Rad Brad is fun because you’re watching a fairly uninformed but decently experienced gamer try out a game. Cowboy is great because this man learns the games and then perfects the guide so you know exactly what you need to do and what different choices mean.
At around 5:15, where you pick up the pellets, you can drop down to another area to obtain a Bundled Jizo Statue. From Software often places items at ledges when they want you look around or observe something.
This game has grown on me so much over time. I never disliked it or anything but it was sort of the stepchild of the FromSoft family in my eyes. Now through, I have grown to love it so much

You can kill the carp at this point, you just have to use charge attacks. Can be a bit fiddly. Also, just swim away from their spawn area and they come back, no need to reload the area :)

You can actually get ALL FIVE CARP SCALES immediately in the Hirata area without diving underwater. There is tall grass in the water near the rocks behind the carp merchant. The vignette will appear when properly concealed. Be sure to also tap L3 as well. The carp underwater will follow a path right by you. Then hit circle to lunge and strike. I immediately purchased Floating Passage combat art. Its incredibly effective against agile swordsmen.

Great walkthrough best I've found on TH-cam sekiro is the only souls game I've never been able to finish, but with your walkthrough I'm feeling confident it's the deflect that I can sometimes struggle with, anyway liked and subscribed 👍
I think it would be really helpful if you released a guide to all the prayer beads locations because i have not found a complete one yet online or on TH-cam and considering this is 100% I know you’ll find them all eventually
My first carp ran away! However, I was still able to kill 2 carps at the end of this video. Not sure if the second carp was the one that ran away and then came back.
So this was first crack at a From Software game. I gave up because I felt I was way in over my head. I decided to play Elden Ring and loved it. I was able to beat it. After learning how these games work and watching these first three videos, I can say without a doubt I was playing this game all WRONG. I was not searching for things. I was trying to progress through sheer will alone and getting murked. I definitely want to get back into Sekiro and beat it. It’s such a beautiful game, and deserves to be played. It’s crazy how calm you are playing this game. It gave me non stop anxiety, lol.

I didn't even know about hirata estate I went to ashina castle and defeated the blazing bull and general kuranoske matsumoto but i was stuck on the mini boss seven spears shikibu toshikatsu yamauchi but after seeing this video and realizing I missed hirata estate I stopped fighting shikibu toshikatsu and decided to go to hirata estate
Yeah the Cowboy is just about the only go to i have for game guides. He's pretty much the only reason I can get through games like this. Although with this one I've fumbled quite a way in before coming here. Just wanna make sure I didn't miss too much.

Just finished Shadow of the Erdtree. This is more different than I expected, I hope I can get gud again. "’Up’ on the D-pad to Heal” is the hardest boss I've run across so far.

Great walkthrough best I've found on TH-cam sekiro is the only souls game I've never been able to finish, but with your walkthrough I'm feeling confident it's the deflect that I can sometimes struggle with, anyway liked and subscribed 👍

I think it would be really helpful if you released a guide to all the prayer beads locations because i have not found a complete one yet online or on TH-cam and considering this is 100% I know you’ll find them all eventually

So this was first crack at a From Software game. I gave up because I felt I was way in over my head. I decided to play Elden Ring and loved it. I was able to beat it. After learning how these games work and watching these first three videos, I can say without a doubt I was playing this game all WRONG. I was not searching for things. I was trying to progress through sheer will alone and getting murked. I definitely want to get back into Sekiro and beat it. It’s such a beautiful game, and deserves to be played. It’s crazy how calm you are playing this game. It gave me non stop anxiety, lol.

I didn't even know about hirata estate I went to ashina castle and defeated the blazing bull and general kuranoske matsumoto but i was stuck on the mini boss seven spears shikibu toshikatsu yamauchi but after seeing this video and realizing I missed hirata estate I stopped fighting shikibu toshikatsu and decided to go to hirata estate
Yeah the Cowboy is just about the only go to i have for game guides. He's pretty much the only reason I can get through games like this. Although with this one I've fumbled quite a way in before coming here. Just wanna make sure I didn't miss too much.

Just purchased this game. Demon Souls is my only other Fromsoft game and I'm really struggling with this one. Your walkthrough will definitely be a big help but I feel bad when you make the boss fights look so easy lol

Just finished Shadow of the Erdtree. This is more different than I expected, I hope I can get gud again. "’Up’ on the D-pad to Heal” is the hardest boss I've run across so far.
5:20 you can drop down to the left for a little buddha that regens your ressurrection.

You missed a Bundled jizo statue. Its somewhere around this area (5:14), i think. I found by accidentally falling off the edge so I can't take credit. lol
