    MJ is the MOST COMPLETE player to ever play in the NBA…in 13 full seasons, he racked up 10 scoring titles, 9 All-Defensive First Teams, 6 Finals MVPs, 5 MVPs, Defensive Player of the Year-in the SAME season he won the Scoring Title AND Regular Season MVP to go with his All-Star Game MVP AND 2nd consecutive Slam Dunk Title, led his team to 6 NBA Championships (2 Three-Peats) in 8 years, never lost more than 2 games in a row from Nov. 1990-June 1998, leads the NBA in advanced statistics in multiple categories, multiple clutch shots and game winners against the best defenders and defenses, led the NBA in Steals 3 times, only Guard with 200 steals and 100 blocked shots in the same season and he did it Twice! His playoff scoring average is the highest in NBA history, and finally, MJ was voted #1 for the NBA’s 50th & 75th Anniversary Celebrations by a blue ribbon panel of NBA executives, past and present: coaches, players, writers/reporters/journalists, and WNBA players. Talk about being durable like Superman, MJ never missed more than 4 games in a season, except for the 2 years he was injured. MJ played in ALL 82 games 9 times, including his last year with the Wizards at age 40, and he played at least 80 games 11 times…. These are the facts ….and proves MJ was not from planet
    Earth.✌️👍🎤👽
    If there’s a player that can replicate or do better than what MJ did in his 13 full seasons, better check his DNA…nobody’s passing MJ for the G.O.A.T title anytime soon…sit back and enjoy what we have in the NBA today.🐐🏀

    Hands down, MJ is the GOAT. I have been following the NBA since 1968. I watched the amazing Willis Reed's game live when he came out with the injured knee.
    I followed MJ at UNC. Then, throughout his entire NBA career. I watched all the great ones in over the last 5 decades.
    For those who follow the NBA in the 80s and 90s, you witnessed that Jordan was so far superior to the next top ten great players in that era. All his peers said that MJ was so far above their abilities that he was at his own level. He was more talented, competitive, dominating, relentless, fearless, confident, and he destroyed the competition.
    He changed and impacted the game itself and opened it up globally!
    He always played offense & defense every minute on the floor.
    Yes, if he didn't miss the time with the knee injury early in his NBA career, retire in 94' and most of 95'. Then, he continued playing in 99' - 01' along with going directly into the NBA from high school....north of 50,000 points is not even a question.
    MJ being considered the GOAT is not even a debate!!!!!!

    I watch the bulls play when I went to visit my cousin in Chicago. Jordan was on another level and I’ve also seen LeBron play and I’ll be honest. It was a completely different feeling. It was fun. It was great. Cleveland actually won the game however it wasn’t like the Jordan game, because when Jordan would made his game, so exciting is that each dunk was almost had its own identity and he just never knew what the man was going to do LeBron nine times out of 10 does the tomahawk dunk which is the same dunk, he almost always does, but even Jordan’s layups were better than a lot of his dunks. His layup package was ridiculous. Jordan is clearly more energetic he just had Dries you know, and he was fun to watch. The crowd would literally go nuts, myself included.

    I was lucky to see MJ in his Prime as a kid and to see LeBron, and I remember my dad once said the difference for him was when LeBron could make a few plays that could make the other teams nervous but Michael could make a dunk off a break that not only could stop a team in its track but deflate the entire opposing stadium.
    He said I was witnessing the greatest basketball player of all time during the time.

    In clutch situations in the finals ray allen and Kyrie made the winning shots. Both weren’t assisted from James on those shots. Mj made the winning shots in the finals. Also had assists to Paxton and Kerr on there winning shots. My point being that mj knew what to do and came through if he took the shot or if he had to pass to the open guy.

    • @nathanmckenzie904
      @nathanmckenzie904 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      He didn't make the assist to Paxson, it was a great rotation. I think scottie made the final pass, but I could be wrong

    • @dpham247
      @dpham247 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Another fun statistic. In the finals When lebrons team is down 1-3 pts with 20 seconds left and his team needs a bucket to tie or take the lead, he is 0/6 on such shots. 0% in the clutch in the finals should disqualify you from the goat debate

    • @MrKurtykurt
      @MrKurtykurt หลายเดือนก่อน

      They also try to act like both were “saved” by other shooters in those championships, but Paxson and Kerr simply hit the “nail-in-the-coffin” shots in clinch games. Worst case scenario, they go to game 7. Lebron literally straight up WAS saved by Ray’s shot and would not have won his only back2back if Ray missed it. Kyrie’s wasn’t quite as crucial, the Cavs could have potentially still won the game even if he missed, but it did come after a 4+ min scoring drought and the odds makers would have definitely favored Golden State to win at that point had Kyrie missed. So it’s really disingenuous when Lebron fans try to use Paxson and Kerr as cover for how fortunate Lebron truly was to have clutch teammates in the two most “valuable” championships of his career I.e. winning a back2back and the 3-1 comeback

    I was born in Chicago and watched Jordan’s whole career. Moved to Ohio in 01’ and was lucky to see James as well. Going to a bulls game with mj was always electric. Everyone knew mj would always come through. Never had any doubts in mj. So hard to explain that feeling of knowing and feeling that. With James I don’t think I ever have felt that way about James. I always had a more worried feeling about James being able to come through. Why? Well he hasn’t been as clutch and not a very good shooter. Never did I really sweat with mj but James I would be sweating bullets. One thing that isn’t mentioned much is the fact that mj never went to a game seven in the finals.

And not come to the outcome that no one cant top his Airness. And cant even put Lebron in my top 5. But that's just my opinion at this point. :) but Lebron vs MJ is laughable. I don't even have Lebron a top of the Black Mamba in my 5 spot. But to each their own. Like who you like. Great break down bud.

    His individual game record in the finals is 22-33 since he won 4-2 against Miami. Still not very good but hey u right he does have more wins and losses now. Most of his averages have remained the same but his advance stats are suffering because of the losing LA has been doing.

    The campaign to make LeBron the GOAT continues. But consider this.....Jordan's Bulls never loss 3 in row 1990 - 1998 The only modern era team to 3peat twice. The only team to go 72 - 10 and win the championship. Finally the NBA has made it official by naming the MVP Award after Michael Jeffrey Jordan. LeBron who? Oh the guy that shoots free throws a little better that Shaq and Wilt. Shannon needs to shut up until LeBron is decent on possibly the most basic shot in basketball. FREE THROWS

      NOt only that.. another accomplishment that separates the two is that MJ led their amateur olympic team 8-0 against the Nba all stars in 84 which almost all of that allstar roster are HOF. Then proceeded to repeat 8-0 bringing gold in the olympic stage. And this was done before he was on the NBA. Lebron has 2 bronze while he was already in the nba playing with nba star talent.

  • @TheHarmAge
    @TheHarmAge ปีที่แล้ว +5

    Yea.. James won the 4th, known as "In the bubble" title. Now, can you consider that a proper title? Lebron fans do for sure. But when you check all the pre-bubble stats and who got invited into the bubble you shouldn't have had that bubble happen at all. Top games played by a team pre-bubble was 75 and lowest was 64. A lot can happen withing 11 games to change the standings. Teams couldn't practice properly, players were on and off during season due to testing positive to covid, games were postponed due to covid, and so on and so fort.. Yes, the Lakers and Lebron won, but that one surely has a diminished brightness than any other title winner in the NBA history. Just my honest opinion. =)

    I think your reaction to this video is my favorite one I've watched. You didn't bring any biases in, you listened carefully, and you didn't talk over the information being presented. Nicely done, dude.
    MJ is the GOAT and anyone making the argument to the contrary simply just doesn't understand how good he was and/or don't want to acknowledge reality. This video from DangerProductions has done a lot of excellent work in putting out the facts and telling the world how it is. I think a lot of people get the GOAT discussion mixed up with whoever their favorite player is, hence why this "debate" even exists in the first place. People can say their favorite player is Lebron and there's nothing wrong with that, but when it comes to the actual numbers and accomplishments to determine the GOAT, it's MJ all day every day; there's no real debate to be had.
    And as for who I'd want to take the final shot? Either MJ or Larry Bird; they were both reliable and LETHAL in the clutch compared to the vast majority of their peers.

Ever seen LBJ win a dunk contest? Hell, he didn't even participate in it! MJ won it before.. so who's the BETTER all round athlete then? The only thing i might give LBJ is his ability to pass. Growing up in Northern suburbs of Chicago, I was able to get to two Championship Games and about 3-4 regular season games watching Jordan, in his prime. The town was on fire. Some of the best basketball I have ever seen. The highlights don't do it justice, LIVE watching Michael he just seemed faster. It would be hard to track him as he played. He actually lived in Glenview/Northbrook area, which is where I lived. Saw him in his driveway once, gave us a cold stare as we drove by our young a*s JAWS were on the floor. Fact is Lebron James IS the Greatest Player of this ERA. If Jordan is #1 than James is easily #2. Thanks for the vid!

Ask yourself this; at the end of the school year when all the little kids are getting all kinds of awards and that one kid comes up and the only award he gets is perfect attendance, you know you’re telling yourself “that poor kid. All he got was a perfect attendance award. Probably because his Momma forced him to go every day”. You NEVER thought: “That’s one of the top students if not THE top student”

      I also feel Lebron only won the longevity check mark. Because he did not play as much games each season, compared to Jordan. Plus the new rules in the NBA favors the offense tremendously now.

    When we say Jordan is the 🐐 people will bring up his accolades, his drive and will to win, the intensity he displayed on both ends of the court, ability to take over games at will, the 6 for 6 finals record or his footwork and incredibly deep bag of moves you know shit like that. When they make their argument for LeBron being the 🐐 they'll try to discredit MJs competition while over hyping LeBron's or say some shit like MJ never won without Scottie and Phil or they'll bring up LBJs longevity stats but if you saw them both in their prime it's undoubtedly MJ not even close or debatable if you ask me. I've seen LeBron fold and flop too many times to ever consider him the greatest

    This is not directed at DaybombTV, but the acronym, G.O.A.T., stands for the Greatest of All Time! We are not talking about the greatest of YOUR time. I see where many have said, I never saw MJ play, so he's not the greatest, so someone else is my GOAT. Now that's some flawed thinking there! That's like saying, I've never driven a Lamborghini, so therefore, it's not a fast car! It's difficult to measure greatness, when you have never seen greatness. My 2 cents. lol

    Clutch shot for my life? I'll go with Pat Riley's answer. "If I wanted someone to shoot a shot to pay off my mortgage, I'd get Michael Jordan, if I wanted someone to shoot a shot to save my life, I'd get Larry Bird."
    MJ is the GOAT imo, but Larry Bird was the coldest MFer to ever play, and the most clutch player in NBA history. Larry wouldn't just kill you with the last shot, he'd tell you what shot he was going to take, and then take that shot, hit nothing but nylon and smile at you afterwards and say, "I told you so." - Just ask Byron Scott or James Worthy.

  • @MrKurtykurt

    Lebron also feasts on lower level teams (especially these days) to keep his averages “close” to MJ’s, but I like to also look at their best and their worst moments and games. MJ’s highs are higher and his lows aren’t as low. In things like “career defining moments” as well as things like best playoff games and worst playoff games. Lebron hasn’t scored at least 20 points in 30 playoff games, MJ hasn’t scored 30 in only 6 playoff games. Yes, Lebron has played in a lot more playoff games, but even as a % of games played Lebron scores less than 20 in 10.6% of playoff games and MJ only in 3.3% of his games. AND Jordan STILL has more 40pt+ playoff games, he’s got 38 Lebron’s only got 29. So if you go see a Lebron playoff game, you are just as likely to see him score 40pt+ as you are to see him have less than 20pts. If you saw MJ in a playoff game, there was a 21.2% chance you saw him score 40 or more points. Literally 7x more likely to see him drop 40 than not drop at least 20

    We've been trying to pass that along for years! MJ is the best ever. Offense mixed with defense. Taking nothing away from LeBron, he's the 2nd best ever. And he's been the best player for the last 20 years. If you're great at something, there's always somebody better than you.

    I’ll never understand the MJ vs LBJ “goat” comparisons. Quite frankly, there isn’t one. MJ being even mentioned in the same sentence is kinda blasphemous…toward MJ. LBJ is galaxies away from being the “goat”. His comparison should be more inline with KD or McHale, but NEVER with MJ. MJ is better than anyone ever. None of the former greats, peers or contemporaries say that LBJ is better in anything whatsoever when compared to MJ. It’s a nonsensical discussion. MJ, Kobe(RIP), Bird, Magic and several others should kinda be offended when LBJ’s fans (and even himself) compares LBJ to them.

    If you think about the longer LeBron plays, the more his stats are going to decline while he gets older. The stats aren't going to get any better. MJ only played 15 seasons and LeBron is starting his 21st year in the NBA. Last year the LA Lakers made the playoffs, however, they had to play the Denver Nuggets in the 1st round. But the Lakers were eliminated in 4 straight games. I'm curious to see how they perform in 2023/24. And so are a lot of fans!

    The GOAT debate will forever be subjective...So how bout the criteria should be the player who's innovative and who give you consistently that 'shock and awe' effect?...Who burst onto the scene the likes we've never seen nor witness before...After all, basketball is all about entertainment and who entertain your mind the most..Last but not least, someone who's impact is felt worldwide and also change the way we play basketball for future generation to come..So under those criteria that I created, Dr J is my GOAT...Besides, he's my favorite player...Yep, I'm being bias and subjective, lol
