I added steak here to make it more filling - but feel free to swap it with a different meat of choice (chicken, pork, lamb, etc). Or skip meat all together! This one was really good - tag us on IG if you makee itt ;-)

Omg adding some mushroom and garlic to this would take it to another level.

Mushrooms are so good, yet so many people over look them when adding flavors.

@@naiomisweets8942 I’ve made it twice now. I used shimeji and enoki the first time. And the other time I also used shiitake and oyster along with shimeji and enoki.
Cook your mushrooms with your beef. It so much more delicious when you do that. And I just cooked everything in one pan. Just take your mushroom and steak out the pan when cooked and start your onions in it.
So much flavour. I made it twice back to back. Oh and I also added a bit of oyster sauce to rice. And some soy sauce to my beef marinade.

Steak 🥩 is not in my budget these days, but I bet a fried egg 🍳 on top would do just as well😉. I love the idea of putting the balsamic glaze on top, it gives a sweet contrast to the spicy gochujang and pairs perfectly with the caramelized onions. I’ll definitely be giving this a try soon 😋.

Oh man, I’m definitely gonna have to try this! I’m not really a fan of typical fried rice because I’ve got a taste aversion to eggs, so anytime I can taste them in foods, I get a stomachache and feel like I’m gonna throw up. It’s from when I was sick with vertigo some years ago and all I wanted to eat for breakfast was scrambled eggs, so I ate them often but then threw up everyday cause I was sick. There’s a lot of foods that I used to love but now have a taste aversion to them because of my illness. So the fact that this is a fried rice recipe without eggs is great! I knew those recipes existed, but I’d never gotten around to looking any up because there’s so many other kinds of foods out there. Thanks, Dan-yul! It’s gonna be a great use for the gochujang hanging out in my fridge!

I've fallen in love with Gochujang after your stew video and planned to finish off my first 500G of the stuff with a stir-fried rice. From what I learned from the video to make good gochujang rice is that you add gochujang, then you need some gochujang, and of course to really tie it all together some extra gochujang :D
I look forwards and plan to try out the other two pastes that seem to be really common, samm-jang and doenjang, at least once I can get them with English shops being a pain for getting them.
