Got one of these to play with! I love FTX products and it’s a a departure from the RC’s I mainly concentrate on, sometimes you need something to just thrash around without giving too much thought to it, the FTX Apache fits the bill. I like that Andy, even though its obviously spinning its wheels on the dirt u can still see that its a quick and powerful rc car,looks quite a special truck for the money,ps nice old land rover 😁

I have 2 FTX Vantages brushed (one of them is the 2.0 version still BNIB and just waiting for me to do the brushless upgrade) and a brushless FTX Tracer MT. I had been planning on getting a Zorro but I'm going to get one of these instead. Thanks for the excellent review. FTX are good value and spares are easy to find (usually.)

Cheers for the video Andy, definitely thinking about pulling the trigger on one of these... I know ftx don't quite have the prestige or possibly the quality as the really big boys but with what you are getting in the box it's damm near half the price of some of them.. definitely want to have something brushless, lipo and don't feel like crying when I stack it in the collection 😬

That is a good amount of kit for the price. FTX really are offering good stuff.more.and more it seems. A RTR would be a refreshing change to me at the moment....will say no more lol

The Ramraider and Apache both have the bigger shocks over the Rokatan, which makes quite a difference to the handling

It’s a decent vehicle but the parts back up in the UK is proving to be appalling 😡. I’ve been waiting for a replacement rear axle and the stock listing just keeps moving backwards every time I check.
