Another great video Stripey and the hat suits you. A couple of things to add. Raymond Chow refused to let his name be used as well as they did not know how the film was going to turn out. And strangely the University of Washington also refused permission to have any filming done. So that was why they kept the story mainly set in San Francisco. Robert Lee said that Warner Bros would grant only so much for the mirror room scene. But Jason Scott Lee did continue his JKD studies and is now a fully qualified instructor. Finally I got engaged at the Space Needle during my first trip to Seattle as I felt I would never have such an opportunity again.👍🏻🐉
Cheers JW, some interesting facts there. The mirror scene in Dragon looks nothing like ETD's. How cool to get engaged at the Space Needle (nice one, mate) I'm impressed 👍
Saw it at the cinema. I picked up the inaccuracies, but…that didn’t matter. It was the spirit, personality and warmth of Bruce that came through. So, yes, I like it 👌
That score that score that score!! It's so great it's been used in other trailers, as temp scores in early cuts of other films, in sporting events on TV, in commercials. I love the movie because Cohen made a biopic that's kinda like a Bruce Lee movie. Lots of action. Some silly mysticism. And JSL is so beautiful.
Cool video mate i knew most of them never noticed Jerry Potett b4 im a fan of this movie jason Scott is great as Bruce you missed Linda's mother was played by the mum from little house on the prairie great soundtrack as well have a great night mate all the best Pete

Watched the Blu-ray of this twice back-to-back earlier this year after first rewatching all of Bruce Lee’s movies in 4K. The second viewing was listening to the audio commentary which was really good and I would recommend it to any fans of this movie. I would also recommend this documentary: Secrets of Shaolin with Jason Scott Lee (2011) Making Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story changed his life and he has since become a certified instructor of Jeet Kune Do.
I absolutely love this movie despite its inaccuracies. Jason Scott Lee did a fantastic job of playing Bruce Lee and the score is phenomenal. I never noticed Jerry in the background. Great spot that. Great video Stripey and yes I will be getting the 4k version 😃
Hi Stripey hope you are well my friend, just got around to your Saturday comments on DRAGON the Bruce lee Story, I'm not a huge fan of it, but my son adores it, i have to copies in my collection , one was cut, and the 2nd one was uncut using the nunchucku at the demon, i also have the game, the character in the game is a more convincing bruce lee honestly 😂But as you/bruce said it's very difficult to do, an accurate picture bio on every single second of Bruce Lees life, example I'm also a huge Tupac Amaru Shakur fan have all his movie fr vhs to blu Ray, records to Cds documentaries posters books, and we still clampering for the accurate accounts on Tupac's every day activities even though the last 3yrs of the man's life was broadcasting on every music channel, mtv news, will we get an accurate count on the life of Bruce Lee who knows, great content pal respect and support always from Ireland all my friends and family think your channel is number 1 for bruce lee content, hope you are enjoy RISE OF THE DRAGON, i had a family emergency to deal with, so definitely next year that's if they hold one every year , I'm literally 1 hour from holihead, kicking myself, make sure you post some photos mate 💯🙏🇮🇪🙏👍👍👍🤜🤛👌👌🍻🍻🍻👍✨👌🌟👍✨👌🌟😎😎😎#DRAGONTHEBRUCELEESTORY #RISEOFTHEDRAGON2024 #BRUCELEE
Hi Stripey, I remember going to see it with my friends back in the day, very Hollywood but still enjoyable. Stripey I have been doing a bit of research about the mystery documentary they will be showing at the convention, Rise of the the dragon it might be When in Rome The Making of Way of the Dragon by Carl Fox, it gets released on the 6th of October. I enjoyed the Jason Scott Lee interview Cheers.
Thanks Pal. I have no idea, what we'll be seeing,. but I just checked the IMDB and it's on there (very interesting) I'm glad you enjoyed the Jason interview too, mate. cheers 👍
Thank you Stripey on this video remember I asked you sometime ago to do a review on all Bruce lee biopics especially Dragon, Birth of the Dragon and some others however you finally did one. I am grateful thank you so much for this it means a lot!
I thought it was well executed but always like to think of it as a fictionalised account of his life... Kinda like a really well done Brucesploitation film. Great soundtrack too. For "emotional content" i love the fight saving Brandon. For cheese moment i love "she is wanna my own." Top moment. Great work as always buddy 🤟👏😁

The Bruce Lee weekend sounds great (should I bring the popcorn 😉) I need to watch Secrets of Shaolin with Jason Scott Lee, Your the 2nd person to recommend this to me in these comments. The Crow was a brilliant concept for a movie as the Crow itself was a fascinating and original Comic Book, plus the movie has such prominent style and even better casting. Alas I agree with you, due to a sense of unsatisfaction (probably due to the film being incomplete) Rapid Fire is definitely the better film. Probably because mostly it relied on Brandon's strength of being so adept at combat and the fact that he choreographed the whole thing.
Stripey- Great commentary on “Dragon”. I’d suspect that Glover’s reluctance was rooted in a desire not to exploit Bruce and or could be related to the JKD schisms. Here’s a bit of trivia for you: Bruce came to the US from Hong Kong aboard the “Presidente Wilson” . That ship has a very long association with immigrants. First in the Atlantic where it went between Naples, NYC & Bremen and then in the Pacific when it brought Bruce to the US. My wife’s grandparents, mine and Bruce got here from distant shores on that ship. How’s that for some granular BL trivia? May it be well with you- keep up the good work!
Huge Bruce fan here..love your chanel but i must say even dou obviously Bruce is not in Dragon its by far my favourite Bruce Lee movie..im in my 50s so a older fan that grew up with his older movies and of couse love them but i must say iv watched Dragon far more over recent years..yes its not entirely factual but it makes up for it just by the amount of heart and soul on display..i tear up evertime when the mom comes to visit the child for the first time and the very end monologue as bruce is seen doing his moves with sun behind..i am counting the days to the 4k...oh and the music just perfection
I am old school growing up Bruce Lee from the early 70s. I loved Dragon. It’s a work of employing some artistic liberties. Beautiful film Jason Lee captures the spirit. I look forward to owning the 4k. The Music is beautiful.
Hey Stripey!! Great list! DTBLS tried and it has it's moments. I did know all of these except the Van Williams point and the Jerome point. Glad you're doing well. Incidentally, John Chang who played Johnny Sunn is a veteran kung fu actor from back in the day. Just saw him in a fight scene with Bolo Yeung!! Cheers mate!!
I have my issues with Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story, but as a movie divorced from real life history I think it was well made and well acted. My favorite scene has always been the Breakfast At Tiffany's scene.
Hi Stripey thanks for the fun 10 things video 👍🏽. May i suggest a parrot 🦜...for the Pirate look, unless you prefer Captain Spoke's floppy ear... fascinating 😁. I really hope it's gonna be earight ! Just to note that Van Williams cameo is double, because it's his son besides him in the scene. I like this movie even if it is a very fanciful inspiration. Bruce Lee my brother is very well done and more realistic. the two bios that every fan have to watch... May i suggest 10 things...for the infamous birth of the dragon...yyeeeyyyy! 👀 Take care and Wataaaa !🐉
Love this film holds a look of good memories for me and also mate Jason Scott Lee didn't have any martial experience & after studied jkd & there is a brilliant documentary on TH-cam mate of Jason going to to the shaolin temple to train with the monks you'll love it stripey if you've not seen it mate 👍☯️🐉🙏
Second message 😂 my understanding is tao of jeet kune do was a collection of notes put together after his death. Linda says in the intro something along those lines and, if i remember right, that the content should be considered as knowledge accumulated on the way and that once used leaves the book better off for cleaning up messes. 👌
Great vid stripey, I always really enjoyed this film. Was never to fond of the fight scenes thought they looked to fake except for the Wong jackman rematch which looked badass! Turns out Michael Worth choreographed that fight which is why it looked so different to the rest of the film. Thanks again
Great video Stripey. Thanks for the inclusion snippet of Sharon Tate (I love and am a huge fan of hers) Bruce and Sharon were good friends. Have a great day my friend. 👍😊🙏
God I hate that film but fantastic video as always. Great facts about the film. Sometimes I can’t understand why certain things are so inaccurate when it just doesn’t make sense to change it.
Personally, I've never liked the movie. Yes, the inaccuracies without doubt contribute, but when you're creating a bio pic of someone of Bruce's standing, whoever is cast in the part, it's such a gigantic task. Jason Scott Lee did well, but it's not Bruce, so I would rather watch a documentary on the real thing. I'm like this with most bio pics. Ali is another that springs to mind. Thanks for the video, Stripey..👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks Pal. I enjoy it for what it is. We have genuine Lee films (the best) Documentaries, bios and of course, never forgetting Brucesploitation. you quite rightly said to play Bruce is a gigantic task, I think Jason Scott Lee did a pretty good job. I enjoy a good bio pic, it's subjective I guess. cheers bud 👍
Have you seen the The Legend of Bruce Lee series Stripey ? The first couple of episodes take a bit of getting used to as it is a cheaply made production but is quite fun and addictive once you get into it.
I went to a special screening at UCI in Solihull when I was at college, and I specifically remember one particular scene. and it was the big climactic final act, & I remember at the time thinking, I guess he's meant to be using nunchucks in that scene. Even the guy who was presenting the film mentioned that cut scene when the movie finished. I can understand the Lee estate wants to protect his image and preserve his legacy, much like the band Queen did with the movie biopic Bohemian Rhapsody. However, for the ending to say that he died from falling in to a mysterious coma, caused by a family curse was in my opinion, insulting, & in extremely bad taste. It was basically fuelling more fire for conspiracy theorists. I don't know why the estate couldn't be open and honest about his death, as it was well documented in the autopsy report. It be like Bohemian Rhapsody not mentioning AIDS & said that he fell in to a mysterious coma & his whole family & cats are cursed. I watched a TH-cam video and they mentioned that Bruce Lee had his sweat glands removed, because he didn't like sweat stains, according to a biographer Matthew Polly. Is this true? Also, isn't that kind of dangerous to your body?
Well Mr stripey I thought it was a great tribute. A fictionalised account of a true story. And a genuine tribute to one of the cinemas most legendary figures.
I was so looking forward to this coming out back in the day but hated the way they took liberties with the truth. Why do Hollywood always do this with biopics if you are telling a story of someone’s life then what better than getting the facts right and telling the truth
I think the worst example of "Dragon" getting dates wrong was at the beginning when it claims that Bruce was still in Hong Kong in 1961! Bruce said he left HK in 1959 when he was 18. "Dragon" is a fun movie. But as a biopic it's terrible!
Hi Stripey Jason Scott Lee was in Back to the Future as a member of Biff’s gang Also in Dragon TBLS Bruce’s dad is shown as being quite poor and had a secret stash of money to send Bruce to America, however he was very affluent and didn’t struggle to find the money. He did work at Ruby Chow’s restaurant but Ruby and Bruce didn’t get on and I’m pretty sure he never scrapped with any other staff, not in a Jackie Chan style anyway I sort of like the film but I don’t get the urge to watch it
Hi Stripey, hope your head is healing well. Dragon is great hollywood entertainment but innacurate entertainment. And with so many innacuracies it does make you wonder who was doing the research and fact checking. Basically, its Rob Cohen directing a "Bruce Lee film" that just so happens to be based on the hero's life story. We can be glad that a major motion picture company like Universal recognised the importance of Bruce Lee's life to finance a biopic. Some other studios did not. Jason Scott Lee does a pretty good job but is let down by the make up and wardrobe department. He's hair never changes its style and he looks the same age all the way through the picture. I would go as far as saying Jason Scott Lee actually put on more muscle than was needed for the role and he was obviously much taller than the real Bruce Lee was by about a good 3 inches. We even see Bruce as a small boy training on the wooden dummy with little Bruce throwing in some war cries for good measure. That scene got a big laugh when I first saw it in the cinema. Its pretty much accepted that Bruce didn't start training in martial arts until his early teens. The fights are very Jackie Chan. They do not resemble the techniques Bruce Lee was using in Jeet Kune Do despite Jerry Poteet's involvement in the picture. Nor do they resemble the fight scenes in actual Bruce Lee films. Apart from all those innacuracies and much more, its a film I do enjoy watching. Especially now its availible without the UK censorship cuts to the nunchaku scene. Its not a true biopic and its not a Bruce Lee film. Its trying to be both. I think you could call it a biotrick. Am I going to buy the 4k? You betcha!
Hi Stripey. Dragon 🐉 is a good dramatic biopic but soooo riddled with Hollywood embellishments & important omissions. Of course you have to understand the executive producer was Linda (widow) & of course she would put Bruce’s best foot forward & leave out anything that did not show him in a heroic light…The thing that bothered me most was how she made “Johnny Sun” (essentially Wong Jack Man) an evil racist villain who took a cheap shot & almost broke Bruce’s back…lol…Total Hollyhood BS, but ok…No mention of working on Game of Death or the other fact he died @ Betty Ting Pei’s apartment (mistress)…but OK, she wants to forget that, I’m sure. 😬 What we really need is an UNBIASED third party to do a REAL biopic, warts & all to see him as the full human he was…People think Ang Lee will do it? Problem is, the BL estate is so powerful & has lawyers that need to approve any film representation of him, so even Ang Lee is beholden to lawyers approving the script.. sadly! Another messed up thing was the BL estate threatening legal action against Bruce’s own SIBLINGS! Robert Lee & Phoebe Lee with their produced HK biopic: “Bruce Lee: My Brother”…sad thing with estates & lawyers getting involved.. makes me wanna puke TBH.. 😑 (sorry, but I think you are in search of truth on BL over the fiction…I would also recommend Tom Bleecker’s youtube channel for factual BL stories & anecdotes).. cheers.
Why didn’t you state as top 10 facts you may not know about “Dragon 🐉 🎞️” that Rob Cohen offered Brandon (Lee) the chance to play his father in “Dragon the Bruce Lee Story”?? 🤔 Seems like a pretty important (top 10) factoid to me. He turned it down & said “had it come along later in his career, he might have considered it..” Now considering what happened to him on the Crow I say, FORGET the Crow & wish he took up Rob Cohen’s offer 😣 😓 …(He’d likely still be with us today.. 😢 🙏)
It was shown as a parody of his life, although the film is a little far from reality, accompanied by historical errors, facts, and exaggeration. Bruce in this film is shown as hysterical, touchy, disorganized, sexual, I want to say at first glance, for those who are unfamiliar with Bruce Lee's work, this film is for them
Cheers Stripey, although inaccurate I still think Dragon is a good movie. Btw do you or anyone else know what the best source is for watching the Longstreet episodes featuring Bruce? i believe there was a dvd release but it’s not easy to find, it would be great if those were available in hd.
I do remember this been a good movie but like you say, not very factual. Although their is other portrayals of Bruce Lee in other films. One of my favourite is, the real Bruce Lee. But I'm sure their is better out there?
It's as factual as Michael Keaton Batman, it reported+ strongly keeps the general spirit of the icon but exists in an abstract representation thus has artistic liberties.
Its not my favoriet , i watch bruce Lee movies and the fake ones..... but its because its an american movie and American martial arts movies are most of the time bull. But everbody have his/ her own tast. Stripey keep on sending videos and stay honest. Greetings from the Netherlands
I dislike this film so much. Besides the glaring error with Bruce's hairstyle, the plot takes ridiculous liberties with facts and the unitiated are going to take these as the truth. It was Hollywood's big chance to put the story of Bruce's life out, and they completely blew it. I'd just as soon watch 'The man the Myth', at least we knew it was a Bruceploitation film and not something dressed up as factual. JSL did a great job, no doubt about that, but the material he worked woth was way beyond sub-par. No, not a fan.
Hey bud, I appreciate it for what it is. The haircut (that never changed) has been brought up by various people. There are plenty of errors in this film. I could have made 50 things 🤦♂ But, I still enjoy it as a film (not a Bruce Lee bio) The Man The Myth is actually quite good, I hope it appears on the next Clones set. Whether we will ever get a true bio on Bruce (I seriously doubt it) The Lee estate wants to paint Bruce in a positive light. Films are subjective, some comments on Dragon are quite positive & some...not so much. Cheers Pal 👍
It’s a fun movie but Bruce was funny and serious in real life he could switch quick. This movie made him seem like a wide eyed dumb kid lol also i was born in 93 im 31 i feel old too 😂
As always love you, my, friend, as Love the MAIN MAN, game of death part 3, I fucking hate all Brucexotation, since , Bruce lee self books, and interview, Bruce said Be all your self, me , it's you mind , ,. .subconscious
It was crap. A movie based on his Hong Kong days would be great. Everyone surrounding Bruce, from Robert Lee to Linda, to Dan Inosanto are totally unreliable and deluded
Robert Lee (& sister Phoebe Lee) did make a movie based on his HK days titled “Bruce Lee: My Brother”…The BL estate & Shannon Lee had threatening letters sent to them thru lawyers & it’s part of the reason it’s so hard to get ahold of a physical media copy 📀 here in USA 🇺🇸 aside from Chinatown dvd’s.. (If anything the estate is deluded & all about “copyright protection” & making $$, mate..)😑 🫤
Nice video. I am "one of those" that knew all of these, but, as you say, its good for "newbies" to be told the truth. I myself, have severely mixed feelings about the film. On one hand, the dedication and commitment of Jason Scott Lee is quite apparent. HE respects the "source material" even tho, the screenwriter, and director, in my opinion, clearly do not. The entire film is nothing more than a "glossy" Hollywood "Bruceploitation" film. The utter disregard for factual, objective truth and historic accuracy is astounding. The "liberties" taken, produce a film that is to me, more akin to a "made for TV" special. The exceedingly tired "bio-film" tropes; The woman is the TRUE HERO behind the "hero". The racist white guys. The absurd fight choreography. The complete fabrication of events. The "family curse" and "hallucinations." et all, The very idea that LIES, misrepresentations and exaggerations are more "interesting" than reality,.. Thats the one that bothers me the most. The very notion that Lee's REAL life story REQUIRES "embellishment" is the films greatest sin and most egregious form of disrespect to his legacy. Now I get it. "Fims" are not documentaries. And there is not a single "biopic" I have ever seen that is "accurate"...but, for example, and (as unfair a comparison as it is,) "Lawrence of Arabia" is a "biopic" filled with inaccuracies, but, ya know....a "slightly" better movie. One of the films major challenges, as with ANY film that has been or will ever be made about Lee, is HOW in the hell are you going to find ANYONE that can convincingly emulate his "style?"..You can make the star "train and diet" you can give him "lessons" on how to "look" like they know martial arts, you can give him a dialogue coach, make him mimic Lees "battle cries, give him a matching haircut, Aviator shades and a sharp period authentic wardrobe...BUT...they will NEVER be able to imitate Lees trademark charisma and physicality. The other thing is that, say in a musical biopic, you can use the real recordings of the subject. The Elvis film, Ray Charles, Queen movies could at least give the audience the "real deal" at any point in the film. Alas, you could not possibly cut to "real footage" of Lee and have it be convincing on even the slightest level. ( Game of Death: I'm looking at YOU.) So that will always be a huge problem. So ultimately I give the movie a big "thumbs-down"...I can see why Jesse Glover wanted nothing to do with it. I doubt he was given a script, or any real information. I think he probably just sussed out that it would be an incredibly exploitive cash-grab, (disguised as a loving tribute.) I also can see why Linda Lee was onboard. She gets paid for the books rights, and It perpetuates the myth of what Mathew Polly called "The Kung-Fu Jesus." and, it makes her look like the sole person responsible for Lee's achievements. That he would have done nothing if not for her love, inspiration and motivation. All of that said, if I completely divorce myself from the fact that "Dragon" purports to be a film about Bruce Lee, the higher than average production values along with the aforementioned enthusiasm of JSL, makes the film, ultimately "watchable"..but for me..NOT recommended. Keep up the great work Stripey. Yours continues to be my favorite Lee dedicated YT content.
I've said this before and I'll say it again. Despite people hating on it for not being 'accurate' in places, I thought it was an excellent homage to the legacy of Bruce Lee. The biopic was respectful which is more than can be said for some of them.

Thank you. I enjoy Dragon, it's one of the best bios on Bruce.
I will enjoy watching it at Christmas on 4K
Cheers again Pal 👍
Thanks stripey interesting facts
I have my issues with Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story, but as a movie divorced from real life history I think it was well made and well acted. My favorite scene has always been the Breakfast At Tiffany's scene.
One cameo you missed out which was Robert Clouse who played himself in the Enter The Dragon scene
I like the movie, love the score, and looking forward to get it on 4k disc its beautifully shot.
Brilliant, as usual stripey
Thank stripey this film y dont liket y wich you graet wekend end say everytime we love Bruce Lee Benny from Belgium ❤
Take care and Wataaaa !🐉
Love this film holds a look of good memories for me and also mate Jason Scott Lee didn't have any martial experience & after studied jkd & there is a brilliant documentary on TH-cam mate of Jason going to to the shaolin temple to train with the monks you'll love it stripey if you've not seen it mate 👍☯️🐉🙏
A hugely entertaining if not entirely accurate 😅 film.
😆😉👍
Second message 😂 my understanding is tao of jeet kune do was a collection of notes put together after his death. Linda says in the intro something along those lines and, if i remember right, that the content should be considered as knowledge accumulated on the way and that once used leaves the book better off for cleaning up messes. 👌
Great vid stripey, I always really enjoyed this film. Was never to fond of the fight scenes thought they looked to fake except for the Wong jackman rematch which looked badass! Turns out Michael Worth choreographed that fight which is why it looked so different to the rest of the film. Thanks again
Great info stripey hows the head i see your still wearing that beanie
Take care mate
Thanks, mate.
The head is healing cheers. 😉👍
Thanks mate. Very interesting.
Much ❤ to you and family.
Loved the movie! Although not entirely accurate, it’s a great tribute. Hard to believe it’s already over 30 years old! #hiyah👊
Great video Stripey. Thanks for the inclusion snippet of Sharon Tate (I love and am a huge fan of hers) Bruce and Sharon were good friends. Have a great day my friend. 👍😊🙏
Thanks Pal, Bruce & Sharon were friends, Bruce was seen (on film) at her funeral
Cheers mate 👍
@@StripeyR Yes I have seen that. I wonder if he went to Jay's after!?🙏
God I hate that film but fantastic video as always. Great facts about the film. Sometimes I can’t understand why certain things are so inaccurate when it just doesn’t make sense to change it.
Thanks Pal. it's subjective I guess. i enjoy it for what it is. I doubt a true honest gritty bio will ever get signed off by the Lee estate. Cheers 👍
Dragon. Best. Bio.
I actually like - the man the myth better... For all it's faults I think it's fun and light. How's THAT for controversy 😊
I enjoy it too 😉👍
Have you seen the The Legend of Bruce Lee series Stripey ? The first couple of episodes take a bit of getting used to as it is a cheaply made production but is quite fun and addictive once you get into it.
I have all 50 episodes, but I have started the mamoth task yet (I will get round to it) 👍
Awesome 👌
92. Starting. Filming.
I was so looking forward to this coming out back in the day but hated the way they took liberties with the truth. Why do Hollywood always do this with biopics if you are telling a story of someone’s life then what better than getting the facts right and telling the truth
I doubt a completly honest bio film on Bruce will ever get made.
I enjoy Dragon for what it is ( a fantasy bio flick) it's subjective, mate 👍
I think the worst example of "Dragon" getting dates wrong was at the beginning when it claims that Bruce was still in Hong Kong in 1961! Bruce said he left HK in 1959 when he was 18. "Dragon" is a fun movie. But as a biopic it's terrible!
Hi Stripey
Jason Scott Lee was in Back to the Future as a member of Biff’s gang
Also in Dragon TBLS Bruce’s dad is shown as being quite poor and had a secret stash of money to send Bruce to America, however he was very affluent and didn’t struggle to find the money. He did work at Ruby Chow’s restaurant but Ruby and Bruce didn’t get on and I’m pretty sure he never scrapped with any other staff, not in a Jackie Chan style anyway
I sort of like the film but I don’t get the urge to watch it
Hi Stripey, hope your head is healing well. You betcha!
05:25 I listened to the commentary from the Dragon movie and heard that it was from weightlifting.
It's true, Bruce hurt his back doing that exercise. cheers 👍
@@StripeyR I think he was trying to lift 140lbs
City On Fire is reporting that the Ang Lee directed Bruce Lee biopic will start filming early next year.
Seen it at the drive in , wasn t Brandon asked to play the role
Yes, he was asked, but turned it down. Cheers 👍
Is it true that Brandon was offered the part to play Bruce
Yes, That was true.🙏
It was shown as a parody of his life, although the film is a little far from reality, accompanied by historical errors, facts, and exaggeration. Bruce in this film is shown as hysterical, touchy, disorganized, sexual, I want to say at first glance, for those who are unfamiliar with Bruce Lee's work, this film is for them
Stripey the uk blu ray uncut or cut I got the import version uncut
The Universal Pictures UK Blu-ray is uncut. Previous cuts made on DVD and VHS were restored for the Blu-ray release.
Yes the nunchaku scene agaist the demon is back in, mate 👍
Cheers Stripey, although inaccurate I still think Dragon is a good movie.
Btw do you or anyone else know what the best source is for watching the Longstreet episodes featuring Bruce? i believe there was a dvd release but it’s not easy to find, it would be great if those were available in hd.
Hey Stripey, how much of a difference do you think Bruce Lee would have made had he been at Sharon Tate's place on the night of the Manson Murders?
The haircut
(that never changed) has been brought up by various people. There are plenty of errors in this film. I could have made 50 things 🤦♂
But, I still enjoy it as a film (not a Bruce Lee bio)
The Man The Myth is actually quite good, I hope it appears on the next Clones set.
Whether we will ever get a true bio on Bruce (I seriously doubt it) The Lee estate wants to paint Bruce in a positive light.
Films are subjective, some comments on Dragon are quite positive & some...not so much.
Cheers Pal 👍
I know one thing, I didn't like it. Jason Scott Lee, did his best, but the script was way off as far as accuracy goes.
It’s a fun movie but Bruce was funny and serious in real life he could switch quick. This movie made him seem like a wide eyed dumb kid lol also i was born in 93 im 31 i feel old too 😂
31 is not old at all, mate 😆Cheers 👍
@@StripeyR why thank you !!! 💪 be 💧
I didn’t like dragon the Bruce lee story, I think the new ang lee biopic will be better.
Finger crossed 🤞
As always love you, my, friend, as Love the MAIN MAN, game of death part 3, I fucking hate all Brucexotation, since , Bruce lee self books, and interview, Bruce said Be all your self, me , it's you mind , ,. .subconscious
The film is so inaccurate whatch it once never again
Fair enough fella 👍
Wasn't a fan of this supposed biopic
