Don’t sell yourself short on labor! You drove 3hrs there to fix something you missed, then 3 hrs back. You’re a good honest man. I live in CT and “when” I need something fixed on my two machines, you’re my guy. I will drive to you for your quality of work! I would 100% rather pay you than some dealership. Keep the videos coming 😊
Well this was a really fun series of videos to watch, i love the Polaris content, these liger format videos are great and is as always nice to see a real pro do his work. Congratulations on passing 19k followers!
2016 its sure had a rough life!he is going riding tomorrow as you said, I hope he breaks the motor in proper before the hard mud ride or you might see it back again!!lol
i do the same type of work ,a guy told me one time "its not how fast you fix something ,its the knowledge you have to do it"always charge for your time and your still being fair
Wow, I bet you were glad to see the back side of that thing finally. Lesson learned on what jobs to avoid and aren't worth your time. 1000$ was a gift for how carefully you reassembled it and all the extra issues from the size and pain of that monstrosity (still not too shabby though!). Loading it into your truck, alone, taking your life in your hands, great job man!
the price was right considering what you did on it ! in a shop here would be over 100$ an hours cant afford that so i learned how to fix my own stuff haha nice video man !
Sounded good..That's a good deal for a grand..If the 4x4 hadn't got ya..And he throwed another hundred he must be a good fellow just wanting his machine back running.Bet he is somewhere enjoying life..❤
Hey man, nice series! Always enjoy watch your vids. What shocks me was the price for parts. Where the hell are you getting the parts from so cheap? Idk, maybe it’s Canada but I would guess parts you used be more like 2500$ here. And 1k$ for labor was a gift too.
Excellent videos! Quick question: My arctic cat alterra 443cc is running approx 5300 RPMs at 30 mph on flat roads. Does that RPM sound about normal or efficient? Am just curious.
It would just add that much more detail to the videos we all love so much. And it could be a roundabout price not the exact price. Either way the videos are awesome and so is the 570 Polaris. And maybe share a link so we can see it run in the mudd pit.
Everytime i try to figure out how much a job like this would cost my estimate is always much higher than what Rock says. His prices seem very very cheap for not only the work that he does but also for his experience. I just hope that you charge enough to keep the lights on. Your price is way more than fair
Too cheap for a job like that ... He should of just bought him another one and kept his wheels if he wanted. There comes a time when you just have to let em die. You did alot of work on that very few people can do Merry Christmas

Appreciate the kind words Donnie, I’ll keep the videos coming!
That was easily a 2k labor job don’t short yourself man your a great mechanic your time is valuable
I have a hard time charging for my full labor on big jobs…
I understand; I'm the same way with my landscaping equipment repairs!
Great work as always!
For the dealer. Don't contribute to high prices that raises inflation.
That's thing is a never ending repair job , good luck

Great series. That guy got quite a deal, if you ask me.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
I hope you got paid well. You went above and beyond. I wouldn’t of worked on it if it was me
I’ve learned so much from your videos man. Keep up the great work
This was a great project I'll watch again...cheers vermont pond
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks
@@rockspowersports I'm in the city transported to rural by you. As pathetic as it may sound, this truly is therapy. Cheers!
Been waiting all winter for this one. Great video i loved it. Fair and honest mechanic.
Glad it didn’t disappoint too bad after all that waiting!
Wow, that was a tough job. I hate working on muddy machines.
Same, I may have to replace a fuel pump here soon
Keep em coming I enjoy watching your videos and it also teaches me a lot
Nice work man!!!! Looking forward to seeing more videos!!
That thing is a beast for sure.
I looks like it's getting used to its full potential. We might be seeing it again at some point.
Nice work.👍

Love the ratchet handle in your press. That's old school backyard mechanic
Love the content, I have a 2018 sportsman and had the top end rebuilt and now it puffs blue smoke and burns oil
I'm new to your channel!! Great stuff, I'm start a repair shop for ATV's & Trailers
Thanks, glad you like the channel! Hope your shop does well.
You did a great job on that hard life machine!
Wow you finally used both hands to work on something lol you do more one handed than I can dream of doing
Great video Rock !! Maybe after he gets his bill he might be a bit more careful playing in the mud !!
Glad you enjoyed it.
And Possibly but the thing is setup for mud so hopefully he keeps it under the snorkels at least.
Almost to 20k subs, nice!!
Thanks! Getting very close!

Labor does add up quick.. so if you have the ability to work on them yourself yours always better off doing it that way.
@@rockspowersports yep saving a lot of money that way !
Love the video, my friend
Glad to hear it!
Thats so hard on those bikes. Huge tires and no brake upgrade lol
Sounded good..That's a good deal for a grand..If the 4x4 hadn't got ya..And he throwed another hundred he must be a good fellow just wanting his machine back running.Bet he is somewhere enjoying life..❤
He should be in Maine right about now putting some mud miles on her.
I like your videos. Keep it up! Greetings from Germany 😁
Thanks, I’m glad you enjoy them!

Wish you were located in central Florida!
Can you do a video on low idle problems on 2013 550 sportsman. Mines idling at 1260-1370. Really like your videos. Take care.
Howdy duty from Indiana its my last day of school have a great day
Awesome! Sounds like a good day for you!
Rock, the polaris 8mm diff/ transmission plugs arent 8mm they are actually 5/16, 8mm will strip it if its too tight
Man, nice but looks like that one is clapped out !
Interesting quad, what is up with the chains on the front end? Overtravel stops for the suspension? Just found your channel. 👍
Very nice watch..not too hard to drive for the engine your big tires?
Cool vid 😎
Thanks!

Holly cow In Canada probably would have been $5500 bucks
Those portals are tires will destroy a set of oem pads in a ride, gotta buy brass pads for lifted mud bikes
I used to make that drive every week for work. It gets old quick
Always run brass pads with portals and you didnt account for the fluid you spilled when changing the diff seal.
Probably going to end up swapping it again
That is one wacky four wheeler
I have the same atv i need a voltage regulator what do u recommend
I use RM stator for my aftermarket go to.
Do you have a link
What was the final price on this rebuild?
Do you sell any vehicles or strictly repair?
Do you think the customer would agree to you sharing how much a job like this would cost parts and labor?
I am not sure, would the price being told publicly bother you? I’ve never given that much thought
Wouldn’t bother at all I think it’s a good thing to know how much a repair like this costs
It would just add that much more detail to the videos we all love so much. And it could be a roundabout price not the exact price. Either way the videos are awesome and so is the 570 Polaris. And maybe share a link so we can see it run in the mudd pit.

Yeah 1,000 dls in labor is not enough for all that work but good job maybe you can consider charging more next time and maybe do it kn less time 😊
I hate how dirty that thing is. The customer should have power washed it.
Too cheap for a job like that ... He should of just bought him another one and kept his wheels if he wanted. There comes a time when you just have to let em die. You did alot of work on that very few people can do Merry Christmas
Is the 4w yours
This sportsman 570 is a customers.
That's too bad. That's a tough customer and a quad to dislike
Well she wasnt built to go fast it was built to go through the mud.
Jinxed yourself lol
Yep.. I should of known better
Don't stripped out the front drain plug they are $30 bucks at my local dealership. Ask me how I know 🤣
Pretty pricey for a little drain plug.
@@rockspowersports yes it is
@@rockspowersports if there is a next time I think that the drain hole is 1/2 in the differential so I'll try a 1/2 pipe plug
It almost like a lift lol
You are awesome. I think you are too cheap. Charge for all that knowledge you have
I live in Canada. Guys like you are hard to find. They charge 175/ hour at the dealership. You are simply awesome.
As you all see, Polaris is not what it once was. Stick with Suzuki if you want something that is still built well.
TO MANY PROBLEMS WITH POLARIS
