I am completely sold on that spatula and thank you so much for lining it up with the corner of the square pan, a lot of people don't understand how difficult a square pan can be to get your food out of the corner. I love the design and concept.
85.00 for a stanley square pan. Like to see it come with plates/utensils and a cooking grate for the price. Love the spatula and the iconic folding handle with the wider lock and the lid lift. Not bad the way that it is, but not for the price as of now. Thank you for sharing.
Oh, not a doubt that SKILLET LASAGNA and DEEP DISH PIZZA are screaming to be fixed in that piece of kit! Breakfast Casseroles too. STANLEY, if you're listening ♥ 👀 🎶, come out next with a WOK version 🙏 for Stir-fry ups and Fish Fry ups.
Excellent box opening, I was eyeing this pan. I would put a piece of foil over that silicon tab if you are going to put coals on the lid for pizza. Focaccia! Nachos! Butterflied chicken? Thanks, and I can't wait to see you cook in it
That is possible, but I am working on a review of the 8 inch fry pan that has the tri-ply layer as well, yet is it branded as the Wildfare Core Fry Pan Cookset. I believe the differences have more to do with where they would fit based on your camping style. Go for quick and lighter weight outings. Core for basic campouts with family (like car camping) and the Pro for larger groups and glamping. At least that is how I see it.
I do have a Stanley lunch box, I was going to make a coffee brew kit, but I have some other ideas I think it might be good for. Thanks for watching and the comment.
I have the OXO 8 Inch Carbon Steel pan and those are amazing. I prefer cooking on carbon steel and it is my go to pan when hot tenting. It is the perfect size for my woodstove and the removable handle is a great feature.
You can either season it or just use oil or spray oil when you are cooking with it. I am not planning on seasoning mine and had no issues cleaning it after using it.
It is a thick and rigid spatula. I have not had any issues with flipping pork chops or burgers, that being said, I have not tried it for something like pancakes. I am sure it would not be my first choice for that.
Well Stanley made another cook set that you can't use backpacking go figure they quit making the 2 pot cook set it's now the 2 bowl cook set they eliminated the bigger pot on the 2 pot cook set

Thanks Shane.
I do like the fact that you can make into a Dutch oven as well.
Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? Square Pan Cook Set!
😂
I can’t wait to see the 1st meal you cook up. Hello from Alaska
I like that. Pretty slick setup for a base camp

I like that spatula!! I love the heavy box...thats a bonus gift...to store craft supplies!! Spatula..trivet..pan..lid..cutting board = 5
That looks like a great kit! Very useful.
Thanks for showing this one😁
Just subbed .love square pan! Brownies, fry fish, and yes, pizza!
That would make a great pan to bake in over a fire with the insulated bottom and lid

A Stanley Wok would be AWESOME!!
@@BarnYardOutdoors ABSOLUTELY 💯 ❤. And in 2 sizes, One for Car/Van Camping and one for Backpacking/Kayaking, etc. STANLEY ..."Santa Babee" 😉
I may be wrong but I think what makes it classified as "Pro" is the tri-ply bottom.
That looks really good, would like to see it used with a FireBox 🔥 G2 5 inch. Might be a perfect combo.
Nice square frying pan! Can you please make at “Stanley” playlist so I can binge watch those videos? Thanks 🙏
Sure thing!

Hamburgers with grilled onions! Chopped steak sandwiches! That cook area is awesome. Oh, I am getting this pan!
Thanks for the video brother
Got to have it
I bet you could bake some cornbread in it or something. With a bowl of chili. Yup……now I’m hungry.
Why would I need a square pan? I like it, well made but what makes it better than a round pan, what food?
Sweet 👍🏻
Thanks 👍
Love all Stanley products
Nice one for 2+ people.
Where did you get it? Never mind. Wrote too soon.
I like it wished it came in a8 inch
I am pretty sure that even-heat bottom makes it a PRO vs standard single layer bottom on the GO series.

@@BarnYardOutdoors Sounds reasonable too. Naming based on the intended use.
Can you build a chuck using the Stanley lunch box?

That price is nuts. I got the oxo carbon steel camping pan for $50

Does it have to be season
You can either season it or just use oil or spray oil when you are cooking with it. I am not planning on seasoning mine and had no issues cleaning it after using it.
I think it's pro because of the extra thick bottom for more even heated surface
@@conniewaite1371 I have one of the 8 inch Wildfare Core pans and it has that same tri-ply thick base to even out the heat.
Spatula is going to be a problem - it's too straight, there's no angle on it so it'll be hard to flip things.
It is a thick and rigid spatula. I have not had any issues with flipping pork chops or burgers, that being said, I have not tried it for something like pancakes. I am sure it would not be my first choice for that.
@@BarnYardOutdoors Good to know. I'd be tempted to modify it by bending it a bit more.
I'd cut that silicone thing off the lid everytime.
Nice set but definitely not backpackable..
