Howdy, fellow husker! I’m in northeast Nebraska. I was looking at those titanium canteen kits and was wondering if I use the helicon pouch lined with Mylar/bubble insulation during winter months will the hot water in the titanium canteen keep from freezing? Thanks!

Would the lid from the new fry pan fit the older pan? Other than the old pan's handle folding to the bottom and not being able to hold the lid in place I don't see enough of a difference between the 2 pan's to justify replacing my current old style pan. But I really want a lid for it 😕

Hi, I’m in the UK and have never experienced a Percolated cup of coffee… I have an Italian Mocha pot and a small espresso machine although I can’t drink black coffee as I find it either too bitter or slightly sour… may I ask what grind size do you buy for Percolated coffee? is it a coarse grind or fine ..? Man, you are just like me!😂 I just ordered the tent from Amazon and it should be here in a couple of days. I have all my kit ready to go in the back of my RAV4. My plan is to do some overnight camps as it cools off a bit and be ready to go when I want. I tried to take my girlfriend camping several times, but it has always been a disaster!😂 Come to find out she hates camping! Anyway, I love camping and enjoying nature, but at 64, I’d rather be comfortable doing it.😊 Thanks for sharing your setup. I just ordered a second wool blanket to be sacrificed as an impromptu carpet like you have done. Thanks for that idea!😊

Even though I don't own either of these I can readily see the new one as a better option as its size does make it more useful for cooking some items vs just boiling water. I still don't get the importance of it fitting a nalgene bottle as most cook kits will be filled with stoves, fuel canister, eating utensils, lighter, etc.

Put the oil and seasoning in the bag then give them a toss and let them sit for a while. I would need a couple more irons, five wings just won't do.

For that price I thought this was a big box - that you could put real stuff in !
