2004-2007 Acura TSX fog light wiring explaination

I made this video as a follow up to my other explanation for how to install TSX fog lights. I just focus on the wiring here.
Only 1 wire (the green wire) goes through the slit and enters the vehicle.
The red wire goes to the fog lights.
The white wire connects to the battery.
I hooked the white wire directly onto the battery terminal.
The green wire inside of the car is on the fuse for the power window.

Hey man, I grounded the wire where you have it and once I start my car, it dies. Help!!

Exactly why are you wiring this up when you already have fog lights?
