Looking back, I can only imagine how hard this was for Emma, to act cold and distant around everyone and having to take blame for everything. And looking at Killian, and knowing what she knew, I can only imagine

Well I think that after Season 6 we understand much more about becoming the Dark One... Emma was not bad because being the Dark One does not make you bad, darkening your heart does. We learnt that not even Rumple became bad after becoming the Dark One, it was when he darkened his heart for saving Neal from darkening his. So Emma was not bad because she did not darken her heart whereas Hook became bad right away because his heart was already darkened.
Grant Perry Emma is younger than most of the Dark Ones we’ve been introduce to, (Apart from Merlin’s spouse) but it’s also because she didn’t get the green scaly skin, as that’s an Enchanted Forest feature and Emma took the form she would take in our magic less work.
@@axellagos1185 the scaly skin doesn t come when she s in the enchanted forest it's because emma was never evil she just became the dark one to save hook and she never did anything permanent as the dark for example she never killed any one she just turned the into things like trees and stones because she had to make sure that they really thought she was evil in order to save killian. She knew they would be able to turn back the people she turned into things. And if you remember in the first seasons or so when rumple become the dark one in the first place he doesn t get scaly skin he only gets it after he used his magic for evil. Same for nimue(Merlin s love interest a.k.a the first/original dark one)

Of couse she did some dark things (like controling people through their hearts or bonding Hook's soul to the Excallibur to save him thus turning him into a second Dark One), but never enough for her to have the green scaly skin that is characteristic of the Dark Ones. Of course she wanted to sacrifice Zelena to get rid of the Darkness and save Hook, but her intention, despite reproving, was good. She was the only Dark One to resist the tentation of killing.
This makes more sense now when she says at looks at hook and the end and says I'm the dark one very intensely. She's throwing them off (and him) so they don't realize something is off with hook
Well, it's not a new season unless it involves memory loss :) Also, Emma looks amazing as the Dark One!! I can't wait to see her in action as a villain 😈

I was sooo disappointed. I was really hoping they did screw her over in their own misguided attempt to save her, and she was going to take revenge on all of them. I wonder if they did originally plan to go down a different road because the clip they played at comic-com that year was never shown during the Dark Swan Arc.
YES. The Dark Swan arc had such great potential and then they ruined it. The clip they showed at comiccon was so chilling and set up a really good plot. And they changed it all... just to give Hook more story. I hate the day they added him to the show. Everything went down hill.

I do like the subtle foreshadowing of when emma said “youre about to be punished” the shot only has her and killian but him out of focus, more implying that Emma is the main dark one while killian was on the sidelands because of the curse
JMo did a brilliant job of the struggle of having the Dark One in her then embrace her dark one self. I can wait to see what caused this tragedy of her becoming the Dark Swan. P.s. Can you upload Captain Cobra scene if that's ok ☺️ And thanks for uploading these scenes 😊
You know, I remember back when Season 5 was being promoted. I mean EMMA as the Dark One. Going to Camelot, seeing Arthur and Merlin. The Arthurian Legend, my favourite story of all time mixed with Emma Swan as the Dark One was the coolest thing I could've ever asked from this show! I mean all the possibilities this amazing season could've given us, I had never been so excited for a season on a tv show before. Man how disappointing I was when I saw it...
Wow, this season really lost sight of itself. A directionless snorefest lol. Glad to see the show found itself and is doing much better here in season 6 ^_^
Where did Sneezy acquire Emma's jacket and beanie? I won't ask why he decided to wear them...he's one of the 7 dwarfs! Lol. That was a really genius touch on the writer's part. Comic relief it may be but the perfect way to, both metaphorically and literally, present "There's no Savior in this town anymore". It casts such a hopeless and helpless feeling especially when Emma, as freely and as feeling less as the Evil Queen would, turns him to stone.

+xxladybug94 It was a make it all up because she made Killian into a dark one too. But she didn't realize that he would kill Merlin, so she wiped his memory and everyone's memories from failing to save her lover.
+DANIEL SILVERO i think after getting the 3 genies powers in sheer magic ability Jafar would likely be more powerful. not being bound the "laws of magic" and everything. he could resurrect people without turning them into a "dark one" albiet he could still die using normal methods unlike dark ones...
Wish she stayed evil forever cause she has a more interesting personality than her normal boring self and it would be cool if she won at the end and everyone suffered, that would be a good twist.
I stopped watching the show halfway through the season when I found out Emma wasn’t actually evil.....I was so disappointed I wanted her to be bad for a bit especially when it was teased so heavily in season 4 that she would.
I could watch this over and over again. But i have an idea. the dark swan and dark hook could be evil together and hurt everyone they love. or the same story line but hook becomes the dark one and he turns emma into the dark one then she dies. i think i would love that even more.
They pulled this entire story on us, showing in backstory like the voices were making her insane, that she was becoming darker and darker. She screams at Regina, pulled a mean act over on Henry and tried to make up for it (and got owned by talking with Zelena over it too). But ultimately it went nowhere. Are we REALLY supposed to think she's evil because of one bad act, that she didn't want Hook to die (his 180 at random made no sense either). Or her "ultimate plan" to kill the darkness while putting inside of Zelena? She even got the baby out! Even Regina could've say it without a smirk when she said she shouldn't do that. It didn't help all of the new supporting characters were either useless or just downright annoying (King Arthur sucked, Merlin dies on a poor technicality), and timelines made no sense. One of the most dissapointing things I've ever seen. Not to mention, weeks passed and none of the characters did anything but sit around waiting for "Dark Swan" to strike instead of actually confronting her. The only parts besides the ones I mentioned that were good were the ones with Merida.
what emma did wrong was to bring walls between her and the family. In this season it is explained that sometimes people decide to work their problems alone and that might not be the solution. Plus when they discovered what emma did to henry they imagined all the other things she could hsve done
Am I the only one who noticed Henry's body double @ 1:32!?? You can clearly see that kids face. Weird how they didn't catch that and left it in when it's really clear it's not Henry. I guess that's why at some times he was hiding behind Zelena than😧 just something I noticed. Love Emma as the Dark one though!! Great scene overall ☺️☺️
