Incredible from Vivo, the only thing I don't like is the saturated colours and off skin tones, but that portrait mode is chef's kiss. The depth of the photos, having a large sensor is so much better, it's just makes it look so effortless, samsung shots are good but flat in comparison to the Vivo
Yep, screw 200MP, Samsung needs to increase its sensor size, even if it's not to match Vivo's but a 30%-40% increase would be welcomed. But the S25 Ultra won't provide that since it's the same sensor.
Both do a good job but i’m leaning towards the vivo because of the stylish look of the photos. I like it. Also the images on the vivo doesn’t look over processed and the night photos look better on the vivo. Samsung takes the crown when it comes to the videos althou not by much

My choice will bee Vivo x100 Ultra. Unfortunately, they are not available for purchase in my country, so I had to opt for the Honor Magic 6 Pro. If I had enough money, I would definitely choose Vivo x100 Ultra or Vivo x200 Pro.
Some of the vivo shots don't look like they're coming from a smartphone The shots have real depth to them. Like that bar shot. Also I think its the best at shooting lights and bulbs. The colours also look deeper and richer and more vivid than the Samsung Also when you crop in the Samsung shots they start to look artificially sharpened. I prefer the vivo rear camera overall. I nearly forgot about the feel and the personality of the vivo shots. Amazing stuff. The Samsung shots look like yet another good camera smartphone but nothing over the top like the vivo

Vivo's shot are so damn tridimensional because they are not afraid to use contrast in a "healthy" way, whereas other brands tend to exaggerate with HDR, lowering the highlights and raising the shadows way too much.
I'm really disappointed with my s24 ultra camera its just a midrange image quality for 1300 dollars . S24 ultra camera is just over hyped and i just fall for that😢
The S24 Ultra is quite good to me. The main area that stood out was the Vivo low light performance to me. The S24 Ultra video looks better straight out the camera tome too, but at least Vivo has a good pro mode and LOG options for more advanced users to get it how they want it to look.
I am user vvo x100 ultra, never miss the shot, I was using S24U and 15PM before, they all were nothing compare vivo x100 ultra in terms of many things include ai optimization..
I have both phones...S24U is my main phone. The Vivo x100 ultra beats the samsung in all lighting conditions using the back camera. But the Samsung front camera is way better, Samsung selfie cam is great for low light
Thanks for your feedback. I actually prefer the Vivo front camera more and it's performed better than I thought it's t would. I just don't like the beauty effect in night mode even with the effect disabled. Always interesting to hear different perspectives.
@GrantLikesTech Yes, vivo selfie cam takes great shot and have more details especially in a good lighting condition, but I prefer my skin tone on the Samsung. When it comes to low light, the vivo is just terrible.
don't know what video you've seen but i can clearly see the front facing camera having more details on vivo, even when shooting in full hd portrait and 4k smasung, vivo still has more details so maybe watch it on a big screen, you can easily change the color tint but good luck adding details back on samsung

Sad that apple and samsung dont see vivo as competition cuz its not sold in the western markets or at least only in parts of it. We would have much better phones with more competition...
Vivo has a great camera and processing, beyond that samsung and especially apple walk all over it.... these two companies don't consider it competition for a reason
because unlike samsung they don't release the same phone year after year so updating is more work than update fitting all phones 99% , I want to pay for hardware not for useless updates that will never match the newer hardware and I change my phone every 2 years anyway. what's the point of 7 years of updates if they will never be able to be up to vivo's level? you can get 50 years of updates and won't be enough to improve bad hardware. In regard to other things, it was about their algorithms which Samsung looks oversharpened a little bit; however, Vivo presents more natural sharpened results. X100U must be overhyped as it's deserving. It has more satisfactory results than S24U in my perspective. What made you think Vivo is a butt ugly phone? Maybe, design? I agree with you.

Samsung oversharpens, that why I use Camera Assistant to reduce this. In some photos, Samsung HDR is better, in others, Vivo's is better, but this is how computational photography works: You can get two different results using the same phone in the same scenarios. Samsung is better overall. Vivo's software is not reliable or secure. And yes, the design of the Vivo is horrendous!

He's shooting in Vivid mode I believe. You can select "Zeiss natural" and it will look more true to life.
The larger sensors definitely matter, especially in low light I also feel the difference is pretty clear.
