How's the battery life after 6.1.1. I got it last month so I updated it. But life performance bit low. In reddit people are complaining about the 6.1.1 for battery life. You had great battery on 6.1 then now?
@Oneplussecond-s7s depends upon the usage, really. I'm a heavy user and use 5g most of the time. So it lasts me a day. I put it on charge once before I sleep and use it the entire next day. Screen on time is around 10 hours and screen off time is around 9 hours. So it lasts me around 19 hours on a full charge.
I pre ordered within several hours of the offering. I trade every other year. I absolutely love mine. I am a big fan of the long-range zoom capabilities of the camera. I have never had an app crash, and my S24U is my daily driver.

What I've been loving about the S24 ultra is the better contrast video. quality. It just looks so crystal clear, then my iphone it makes me use my galaxy more than my iphone 15 pro max

The battery drain on idle is something they should seriously improve. If I charge it up to 85% (to preserve health) at night, when I wake up in the morning it’s already down at 79-78% meanwhile my 15 pro max stays at 85% even my A52s midrange. Also when it goes below 20% on Samsung it goes flying to 0 but on iOS it lasts forever
Sometimes I accidentally sleep with 24%, I wake up to 3 or 4% (With internet connection on) . But it really charges so quick that I don't notice that as a problem
The trade in offers and promotions that Samsung offers is hard to pass up! But I'll keep my S23 Ultra, since that is my secondary phone. I wonder if you, Nick, actually rock this phone as a primary though.

I think Galaxy S24 Ultra is the best android phone right now. But when the Galaxy S23 Ultra was launched i think it was samsung's best phone released in years. For me overall S23 Ultra was a better phone for its time especially with the vivid display and huge increase in battery compared to previous galaxies.

Don't listen to all the hate. Not to mention your used to iPhone animations, fluidity, things of that nature. Trust me, you'll want pixel. 7 years of updates is cool but I suspect those updates will eventually slow down older phones so ppl can still upgrade to there newer devices, google and apple I am sure does this as well
So just how fast is the charging, really? Because from some checking around and investigating, it seems like a lot of folks have stated that even with the 45w charger, the "super fast" charging speeds aren't much better than the S22 Ultra (which ain't much better "super fast" than on regular fast charging to begin with)...
I did the same thing and used it for a couple of months, and I completely regretted it. After a few months, I sold the 15pm and got the s24 ultra, and it's been a beast ever since. Also, I forgot to mention that the S Pen has been helping me a lot with note-taking, which is not a feature in the 15pm.
I am loving it because of the software, special 7 years of android update. However, the hardware could be a bit better when compared with other Chinese phones.
I love my 24 ultra but the only thing I don't like it's the fact that you have to watch what case you put on it because it will definitely scratch the side up was very disappointed in that

I bought this phone after selling my iPhone, but after using it for just 5 days, I sold it and went back to the iPhone. While it has a lot of features, they’re not as practical, especially when it comes to how the apps look - even the icons are off-putting. It’s missing several important apps that are commonly used in my country, the emojis are disappointing, and the payment methods aren’t as seamless. The face unlock sucks bad, the sharp corners feel uncomfortable, and the video quality doesn’t compare to the iPhone.
I think it really depends on your preference, there's a word "iPhone for simplicity, Android for customization" Samsung offers a ton of customisable options, although the face unlock might suck, for me it works perfectly fine. Anyway, it really just depends on you mate (Bonus! You're probably new to Samsung that's why you felt uneasy Abt it)

True off AOD and put your phone on power saving mode. I wake up only to 2-3% drop after 100% charge when going to bed

I ordered the 15pm and returned it because 8t came with 89 percent battery health
