Yes but remember Jane it’s what we are used to. We’re not used to these temperatures. Plus the UK is much more humid than many other countries so our cold is damp/wet cold so don’t feel bad, it is bloody cold. Thanks as always for your lovely video xx
I have declutters 2 bag fills. I did have a little Spend up on vinted etc as I need some New tops for everyday and work …. Needed some new mascaras and a blusher so took advantage of the offers. Now I won’t need anything for ages. I do plan a book haul from the charity shop soon with my hubby xx
Hi Jane our cupboard is the same I save ice cream tubs and I keep all sorts .I have to get rid of it .lately we had a few bits of nice crockery dropped and smashed so I need to buy a few sandwich plates snd bowl as we have so much miss matched and chipped .just need fee bits thou the rest will be good for a few years x
Edward coins are VERY rare. The 1D coin especially so as only six were minted. So an Edward 1936 coin is very sought after, I believe five have been found to date so one is still out there!!
DH found a very old coin, tiny little bit of silver…..turned out to be worth £850!! Yes, we sold it for that too. Told him he needs to go and find me some more lol. It’s amazing what some people discard as rubbish which turns out to have real value. Love the new sitting room layout, looks nice and cosy.
I've decluttered a lot of my books, CDs and DVDs. I sold many of them via 3 different apps - Ziffit, We Buy Books and Music Magpie - very easy to use as you just scan the barcode. The items which I couldn't sell were donated to charity shops. I've been surprised on several occasions by how much they were willing to pay, and also the differences in prices offered between the 3 companies for the same items. I've probably received in excess of £500 so far!
Hi Jane, When working at my last job, we had to list 'sale-able' books on various sites. We found similar things happened with books as with coins. We did research and priced books at what we felt was a reasonable price.
Good to catch up with you today, Jane. Freezing here too, I love it. You are inspiring me to get back to my mega house project, especially the painting (of pretty much everything). Have had some unexpected freelance work in so this month, so haven't got back on that horse yet. I like the stories of you finding things by the roadside, have also found lovely things that way, including a favourite Ercol chair. This week the crazily expensive local interiors shop had piled up some fabric sample books outside for people to take, so will have to fathom out what to do with the ones I took. Gorgeous scraps of thick fabric in all colours, am thinking of making some little purses for presents. Hope the hot drink warmed you up, I think you needed a hot toddy :-)
The room looked realy nice z

I guess things are only worth what somebody is prepared to pay. I can’t see anyone paying £1000 when similar listings are so much less
