Man i have to say, i don't just learn overwatch from these vids. Emongg's emotional control when something unfavorable or annoying happens is teaching me how to regulate my anger and not take things so seriously. It's legitimately a really important life skill I was never taught by my parents and I really admire him for his ability to stay positive (or at the very least not be negative) regardless of what happens. It shows a lot of maturity and I hope one day I can be as level-headed. Thanks Emongg!
Super mature comment, and totally agree. My parents weren’t the best example of expressing your emotions, so as an adult I have been trying to work on how I process and react to things too. I agree, Emongg is a great example of positive reframing and using bad things as learning opportunities, he makes it look so easy to be positive a lot of the time

This is lowkey why I like to watch emongg instead of some other ow players who either openly rage or you can tell they're only holding it back bc they don't want to look bad. It's a game, it's supposed to be fun.

This is me and I appreciate it so much. I kept going back to Zarya because she is the hero im most comfortable with. I am up to gold 4 right now but after watching this i can definitely keep moving up
Played a robot escort as Hog earlier today. I noticed early that the other teams Pharah was focusing me pretty hard to keep me out of the game. Well as you may know Hog isn't that equipped to deal with Pharah. So I sent a brief message saying I needed someone to focus the Pharah because they were focusing me in chat and someone did by the seems of it. At the very least made it hard for them to focus on me. It allowed me to actually make a play. I'm pretty sure we won because of that small communication. Forgot to mention this was role quick play.
Emmong is the only streamer i see that keeps his ego in check and this is very cool and rare...shout out from Brazil...this series is amazing by the way
Emongg ain't lying about people rushing the backline and all in low ranks. It's because so many supports attempt to front line. Not only that pretty much EVERYONE plays out in the open lol. I recently went thru the worst losing streak I've ever had and in one night dropped from diamond down to mid silver. Probably should have quit well before then but....I thought I could pull myself out of my nosedive. Anyhow, I was flabbergasted at just how bad people in Silver and Gold position. I'm not trying to shame anyone as I was once hard stuck Silver and Gold. So my advice to anyone that reads this is definitely to use hard cover and NEVER tilt queue unless you wanna be like me and have to climb your butt back out of metal ranks lol Also like Emongg said, don't be afraid to solo ult someone. So many low rank player hold their ults too damn lond thinking they are gonna get an amazing team wipe or team saving ult. If you can score one kill guaranteed from an ult that advantage can swing a team fight. And you'll build more ults if you use them.
33:57 Imo the reason why you don't grav here is because you they have 45s left on the clock so if you win the enemy still has time to group up for one more fight. If he had waited 10 more secs to initiate mauga wouldn't have been able to get back to point and they would have won right there. Or you don't ult at all. What happens if they cap point in the 4th round? They get a better spawn, that's all, they don't get any more time. His team had a full push, letting the enemy use ults win first point and stacking ults for second point is basically a guaranteed win.
The only hero who’s arguably better against Zarya this patch is Winton.

I say this as someone who is low rank on DPS but higher ranked on tank (all brain no aim), the biggest difference I see in both ranks is ult usage. People in low ranks hold ults way too much to where they use 1 ult a round in a suboptimal situation.
