Watching that Mercy/Brig just get abandoned repeatedly was painful. You can tell they switched Brig to help the Ana out and they literally get no support in return.
Yeah it's a 50/50 whether you get a Mercy player that's super nice and just wants to be helpful or the toxic mercy one trick and RT91 was definitely the former but this person didn't care and it was painful to watch
Rofl and Ana never mentioned their other support once when they were complaining. Going full battle mercy and jumping in front of nano. The ana didn't even notice just nitpick ed the ball because they didn't respect the hero choice
@@ZacOfallTraits In Ana's settings, there's a thing you can change to confirm your nano. And I doubt Mercy had any idea that Ana was gonna nano, so I don't see why you'd blame her here.
@@sabby1shill her spacial awareness was poor. I didn't blame anyone its a low elo game they can all do a lot better but people blame tanks too easily because most players don't fully understand the value gained from good timing and positioning.
This player: 1. Doesn't actually need any peel because nobody is ever targeting them in the first place 2. Has so horrendous positioning that they end up becoming a coincidental target anyways 3. Has the attention span and priority discipline of a goldfish, forgets about an entire team fight to go chase some pipe dream 1v1 in the backline 4. The moment they swap to Moira they instantly hard flank with full dps tunnel vision and get punished for it INSTANTLY (again due to lack of discipline and poor positioning) 5. Has Bronze level of mechanical skill and ability understanding on both Ana and Moira 6. Argues in chat with their tank for no reason 7. Ends up getting carried by their tank and dps whom they've been complaining about the whole game 8. Complains in vid submission about their team, completely ignoring the plethora of flaws fully in their own control Quite frankly, I'm astounded that they even are anywhere above Bronze. This player would probably be incapable of climbing if one day the matchmaker decided to send them to the depth of Bronze hell and told them "prove to me you actually do deserve your Gold rank". I bet you they couldn't for the life of them get out.
I’m a gold support main and I feel like I play so much better than this person…especially on Moira. The flanking, the way they straight up didn’t use fade MULTIPLE TIMES when they were in a bad spot, the tunnel visioning trying to DPS while they had multiple crit teammates, the damage orb over healing orb…it almost gave me a headache watching this video. I will never understand how the ranking system works in this game! I hate having Moiras like this in my games. It makes me feel like I’m solo healing half the time.
@@turtle8231 *I'M* surprised this person is gold. I was in a recent gold support video from Emongg and feel like I played leagues better than this. As soon as he said "swapped to moira" and mentioned stats, I knew we were in for a treat. 99 times out of 100, when someone swaps to moira, it's not to win, it's to pad their stats so they can point the blame at someone else and fuel their own ego. And considering what they said, it's a pretty safe assumption that's the kind of player they are. Hopefully they learn from their mistakes instead of pointing fingers in every which direction after this.
A tank peeling for their supports IS always nice, but it’s not their primary job: that’s making space. “I need a shield because I’m getting dove” is such a passive way of thinking. Be the change you wish to see in the world!
You know what's really funny is low ranked players see a rein shield and get confidence. While any rank above platinum you see a rein shield and you know it's going to a rough match
A tank peeling for their support is 9/10 times the wrong thing to do unless there's literally nothing else to do (or it's the enemy tank they're peeling against). A tank is best when they maintain a semblance of a front line and ensure enemy team can't just take space for free. If they gotta peel for you 24/7 they are not able to do their job of being space creators and playmakers. DPS can help peel more easily, and support can maintain good positioning to begin with. Tank is the last one you should rely on in general to do peel (this aint OW1 remember, only 1 tank now).
@@Real_MisterSir exactly! I had some really good games today, I was duo'ing with a tank I played with (who I met during one and I decided to keep them because they used the Ramattra ability to pat people's heads), and the games were so good BECAUSE they didn't turn around. they kept the pressure up so my dps and other support could turn and peel for me when the sneaky deaky little Sombra wouldn't leave me alone (very disrespectful). it gave all of us room to deal with the flankers. it made me realize I REALLY don't want tanks to peel for me. the reason my really exceptional games go so well is because the tank makes so much space and therefore I can do my job. I don't want or need them to turn around because I need them to make that space. I can't do my job when I feel cramped, with my metaphorical back against a wall, but I can do really good things and contribute so much when my tank is holding the front line so our team can fight. (and those games go so well also because I try not to feed and/or need peeling. I do the second one pretty well, but I remain an apparently unrepentant feeding Freddy)
@ 11:25 Ana could’ve definitely prevented reaper from killing them with ult if she didn’t panic dart. And she could’ve nanoed rein, I’m not saying they would’ve won, but she could’ve saved them.
theres one thing ive learned from this and thats when you play ana you always target the reaper first your teammates dont matter all that matters is killing the reaper
My favorite character is the reaper guy. he is very powerfull. special move, honestly is one of the best in the game and so he comes equipped with these two revolvers and only takes about 3 or 4 shots to actually execute a kill so it comes really in handy specially when you come from the side to kill the grandma. 👍👍👍
Literally a reaper tried so hard to get me as Ana and they couldn’t get me either I’ll be able to sleep them and kill them off the bat or my tank would come and help me. I felt so bad because they were widow at some point and they couldn’t get a good shot on me either 😂
fr i had a silver-gold baptiste on my team who had crazy aim, positioning, took high grounds, he literally played perfect. he looked like plat+, maybe he was smurfing, maybe even aimbotting tho i watched the whole game and it didn't seem suspicious. and then our mercy pocketed me, our tank and other dps were amazing too, literally perfect team and i wish every team was like this one.
A tip for their Ana: nano confirmation. You still sometimes nano the wrong person by accident but it happens a lot less and you can nano from around a corner/safer positions. Also, try to bait out cds like deflect, fade, even defense matrix with melee. The animation is similar to the sleep dart one and most people are afraid of sleep so they use their escape abilities. Then you can sleep them 😊
I play with a support duo who is chronically attached to the tank’s back, so yeah, nano confirmation is absolutely the way to go. You get a slight delay, but it’s better to have the right target. It’s also super helpful for nano blades in case genji dashes out of los.
tried it out wasnt for me. Many nanos I couldnt get out on time that could have won the fight and team communication on ladder is pretty much 0 so If you dont tab out and look if your genji has blade and try to stay in los constantly and giving out nano all 2 seconds without confirming which is just a waste of time, then they will dash out of los anyways because you didnt expect them to blade at the exact moment.
@@andirmiga I don’t get how you get such little communication. I’m gold in support and I usually get confirmation from a genji or whoever I can combo with to nano

When they mentions ball I assumed it would be one of those balls who are just rolling around off in the distance and only once an a while swinging by the enemies and not really doing much. But they were on point most of the time. I wish I had wrecking balls on my team who would be around the objective as much as that guy.
unrelated but i need advice on how to play tank, it's my least played role and idk how to balance between pushing/being aggro, being passive/backing away, when to peel, it's so much to keep track of like damn
@@TamWam_ as a newer player and Tank main, it depends on what kind of Tank comp you're playing. Most Tanks (with Wrecking Ball usually being an exception) are inherently reliant on their Team for heals and backup. You'll have to force corners more often.
A Wrecking ball shouldn’t rely on the supports for heals. Ball has really good mobility and is able to move fast towards those health packs around the map. But the supports shouldn’t completely not heal him when he’s low of health right in their LOS
Yeah as a ball player I go TO my supports with my mobility, at least in their line of sights. I dont expect or even want them coming to my direct side.
im a diamond support with 500+ combined hours on ana and moira, so heres my two cents :) just personal opinion!! feel free to disagree *Ana* 1. i feel like your ana was hard-scoping a bit. try to minimise your scoped shots when you dont need them cuz spacial awareness is important if youre playing in a risky position- also, shots are hitscan when scoped which is good but theyre also slower. at the range you were playing, i think you couldve got away with hip firing a bit more. 2. play from high ground, rotate your position if you have to and call on your team if you absolutely need them. dont engage with the enemy if you dont need to. not saying you have to healbot!! damage from afar though. ana doesnt really get value up close unless youre a mechanical god. 3. nade agressively. this is a guaranteed fight winner. you dont have to hit them directly, a surface nearby will cause the nade to splash and the enemy will be anti'd. 4. Nano usage and assessment. this is pretty self explanatory. you dont have to use nano to combo ults or even for a big teamfight. sometimes using it to save your teammate is enough. remember: saving a teammate is just as good as confirming an elim. *Moira* 1. Orb usage and geometry. i noticed a few times that you did bounce orbs, which is great. knowing how moira's orbs behave in relation to map geometry is a good way to bounce a sneaky orb into a good position to damage or heal. although the orb itself appears big, the actual size is pretty small, and you can squeeze it through some pretty small gaps if you need to. There are many times where youd be better off tossing a healing orb at your team than a damage orb, unless you desperately need charge for your biotic grasp, i would say dont use a damage orb when you dont need to. asses the teams needs before your own. 2. aggressive fade usage. it can work. usually good for chasing down isolated or low targets that youre confident you can confirm an elim on. dont fade into a nemesis ramattra thinking you can win that, you. you won't. 90% you want to use fade defensively, or to get to a better position. learn your fade jumps, youll be good. 3. biotic grasp juggling and risk assessment. moira has to damage to heal, and she does this well. works great when synergised with a tank. dont spray more of your heal than you need, it has a healing over time effect. top your teammates off or leave a little room for your other support to fill in the difference. keep a close eye on your meter, refill when needed but assess the risk of diving. even if your damage doesnt confirm a kill, you will recharge your meter and you will get ult charge. use your damage orb to refill your meter if you need to. learn to prioritise these things. 4. coalescence healing. its good. its underrated. its going to win a teamfight more times than if you just damage the enemy. trust me, even if your team is bad, keeping them alive is better than going off and trying to solo carry them with a failed coal that kills nobody. risk assess, again. moira is such an incresible healer with huge potential to carry with that ability alone. she genuinely rocks if you play her with a support mindset rather than a dps mindset. that being said, go dps a bit. go for a risky play for fun. but make sure you keep your fade to get out so you dont die!! supports are not deligated to just healing, and tanks are not deligated to just protecting the team. these roles each have multiple jobs to do, everyone should be aware of that. always be self sufficient, play smart, use natural cover and position yourself smartly. know your escape routes, your teammates positions, and help your teammates when they ask for help no matter what role theyre on. overwatch is a team based game. play as a team and you will win and you will climb. use the ping system, risk assess, communicate, and dont put yourself into a bad position because your teammate overextended and got themself killed. you cant always save them. but most importantly, have fun :) happy climbing
I've played Ana a few times and the second I saw them standing in THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET I already knew their biggest flaw was gonna be their positioning.
In overwatch the tank is not protecting his team while shilding and staying infront of there faces, the tank is protecting them for beeing a threat to the enemy. The tank creates space with its dominance and pealing focus.
The very first rule of playing Ball is to know where Mega Healthpacks are and rely on them. Yeah this is on the Tank The Anas positioning cooldown usage etc is horrible. This seems like 3 Bronze Players in a Gold Coat The Moira was even worse lmao Also low elo mind when they losing HP: lemme go to that small room where no one can heal me and the enemy can easily kill me
People wondering how he got to gold - he played Moira. Obvi we only saw Ana/Moira in this game, but you can tell as soon as he switched he became far more confident in how he was playing. I'd wager he's so reliant on swapping to Moira, whos pretty strong in low ranks, that this type of game happens a lot for him.
Off topic, just had a game where I felt like I was playing in slow motion and pinned the opposing team’s rein off the map 14 times on oasis. It was qp, but it happened every time he walked out of spawn. Weird game thought I would share
As a gold Ana in support, I can see mainly from the gameplay that you play Ana as if they were Widowmaker, for me I don't scope much in matches to heal my teammates cuz there is no bullet drop off without the scope. Also your sleep darts shouldn't be used randomly, you must use it when an enemy is close (and doesn't have a bubble on them). My knowledge about Moira is a bit slim but I know how to play her and your gameplay showed me that you are better on her than Ana, and remember above all you are a support character who is supposed to heal the rest of your team. in this match, I've seen you just right click/damage suck while your teammates are suffering with only having brig heals, which are not enough to keep your team alive, your wraith or left shift should always be used as a "Get out of Jail free" card as it allows you to POSITION yourself in a safer spot. It all comes down to positioning which you either learn from a lot of mistakes in your own game or watching better players such as pros, and seeing their movement on how some players that specialize on Moira, Ana or whatever character you are specializing in, and try to implement their suggestions into your own game. All in all, in this match especially you were playing more like a dps than a support character. Don't know if you'll see this, but it will be helpful to anyone who needs help with ranking up or having a good time.
this comment is full of incredibly helpful advice! I appreciate that you took the time to share your knowledge with anyone who is interested in learning more :)
I have over 400 hours on Moira, and there’s definitely something I’ve learned about using her and all of her techs and abilities specifically. When I started out, I was a full healing Moira, only really using my ult to go in for kills. After a while, I got more ballsy and went for more DPS, but I struggled a lot with balancing how much DPS I was doing verses healing, so if I didn’t have a reliable second support, things didn’t go do well. Now, I can balance her abilities a lot more, and I’m able to look for picks, take one on one duels, and still heal my team while getting the elims I need not only for Moira’s utility as a character, but also for myself. (Ngl, it’s really nice to see double digit elims!) Seeing a Moira stuck in phase 2 (full DPS mode) hurts, because, shocker, if your team is still alive, it allows you to take more risks. I think some people have the attitude that their team will be fine without “babysitting” (AKA, perfectly keeping on top of heals), and while that might be the case for some players, it isn’t the case for others. Knowing the limits of your own team, as well as the enemy’s, will help you immensely, as Moira or any of the more aggressive supports, like Bap and Kiriko.
Do you have any tips for beginners looking to play Moira? I'm relatively new to support and looking to improve with different heroes- all I know about her are the basic basics (damage orb to poke, healing orb if no juice left...)
@@siIIyguy Don’t be afraid to do damage, especially if your team is struggling. You can learn to deal with “problems” for your team (depending on rank, that might be Pharah, Widow, Echo, Tracer, Sombra, etc). If you don’t feel comfortable diving a Widow, for example, sending a damage orb her way could kill her or at least scare her out of position. Learning some good reliable orb bounces is good, too! For example, setting up a “flat bounce” on the point at Oasis’ library with your heal orb on the back wall or the smaller walls along the side can create a “heal zone” for your team in the heat of battle. Learning when to use the heal orb on yourself to create similar safe zones is good, too, especially because Moira’s utility is how much of a problem she is for the other team. Also, resource management is crucial with mastering Moira, so learning when to use your cooldowns and how to use them is important. Your heal orb isn’t only for when you run out of juice. It outputs a ton of healing and can last for a while if it’s in a good zone to bounce around in. I tend to use my healing orb on myself if I’m dueling, especially in a tight space where I can effectively bounce my orb, or if my teammates are critical and/or far away and I can’t easily heal them to full or get to them. Your fade can also get rid of status effects, like being on fire from Ashe’s grenade, or being antinaded, but it’s also your only means of escape, so being aware of what’s going on around you is crucial. If you have any other questions, you can find me here: twitch.tv/sylviessylk. Sometimes, demonstrations and visuals can be really helpful, which is the only reason I’m leaving this.
This- this is giving me flashbacks when our team was running a Phara Mercy comp and as the mercy, I was concerned at how fast the team on the ground is falling over and dying. I try my best to keep an eye on our ana so I could peel for her when needed and I do see her shooting so I honestly thought she was healing. I then looked at the scoreboard thingy and her heals were so low. Turns out she was just DPS-ing the whole time. Our reaper was spamming he needs healing and I had to go and zoom around to heal cause if I don't, only phara would get the heals. 🙃
I had a game like this the other day. Ended up having to swap off of Mercy because our Kiriko had 300 heals after about a minute and I couldn't keep up. It was bad. Eventually the team swapped to Mei/Soldier/Hog so it was a lot easier to deal with.
@@GummyDinosaursifyhaving the entire team swap to self-healing characters should definitely be an eye-opener. How do they only have 300 after a minute on KIRIKO 😭
when he said they didnt have to drop down, they had dropped cuz they were gettign attacked from behind. you can see the damage coming in. 7:16 Also becuase a reaper and sym can teleport you will always have to worry about being flanked. then in most cases the high ground is far back from your team. so they get past your team. you can ping but you'll most likely be dead by the time they get there. i do want to preface that there isnt a single spot on that map that a sym or reaper cant teleport to that an anna can get to.
I dont even play ball but I feel for that guy, yea he isnt doing the best but its low elo and supports always just want a rein so the rein can make their bad positioning good, but the ball isnt even doing that badly, and in sure the ana typing at him is tilting him which maybe is why he plays worse towards the end.
Ive been hard targeted before as Ana, and I can’t safely tell you that this particular Ana was just trying to DPS. (BTW im Silver, I’ve started playing since season 8 but got into comp just two seasons ago) As Ana, you have the perfect kit to stay away from the frontline. Force them to have to go out of their way to get you. If they are, you’re positioning + cooldowns will help you out. Also try to keep at least one cooldown on you, if possible. Don’t shoot a sleep without an objective in mind. What do you want, sleep a Cass, a luring Rein, a Doom? Aim well and think about it. Also grenade is hella op, especially if they don’t have Kiriko. A good nade can absolutely change everything! Sometimes we miss this things, and that is OK. More mindful practice = Improvement
@emongg: "That was the Wrecking Ball being too impatient. That wasn't on you." I have to 100% disagree. I do agree Ball should have just waited to be healed, however, that was TOTALLY on the Moira. I'm sorry, but there is absolutely NO EXCUSE to ignore your frontline when they're trying to push the cart. NONE. Especially when the ONE PERSON this Moira healed was, like, two steps in front of spawn and would have made it to spawn to heal just fine. Moira, literally, abandoned the frontline to heal ONE PERSON who was, basically, back to spawn anyway. I'm sorry, I have to agree with Ball here, despite the fact the he went back in at 25% health and Anti-Naded. If Moira had not abandoned her frontline and just focused on keeping Ball and her other allies on the frontline healed, they would have won that engagement. But Ball suddenly lost all of his heals mid-push because Moira decided to abandon him for a Junkrat who was practically back at spawn. Oh and I say this as a Moira Main: This physically hurt me. Also, you fade after your Winston... who is at Critical Health... and your gut instinct is to throw a DPS Orb?! WTF?! NO! Fade In, Heal Orb, then you can assist in the kills. Keep your Winston alive! You're lucky your Winston was a better player than you are! The only reason your team won is because your Tank decided to write you off as a Healer. He played Winston as if he had no Healer. That should NEVER happen, especially if you're right up there with him. The fact that he had no faith that you would heal him, ever, and, thus, played like you didn't exist speaks volumes about your skill as a Support... or lack thereof. And the sad thing? He was 100% right. And that mentality is the only reason he didn't die at the end. Again, as a Moira Main... this physically hurt me. Also also, Ana/Moira, if you're reading this, stop lying... to us and yourself. You complained that Wrecking Ball kept diving deep and being out of your Line of Sight so you couldn't heal them. I'm sorry, but I'm going to be brutally honest here: That's a load of BS. Like @emongg pointed out, you abject refused to move and get better angles for lines of sight with Ana. It's like you fully expected your Tank to play within your one line of sight. Moreover, you had the chance to prove your point with Moira. But as I just stated above: EVERY TIME YOU FADED IN AFTER YOUR TANK, YOU WENT FULL DPS. So, no, I don't believe you. At All. If what you stated was truly the issue, your first instinct with Moira, when Fading after your Tank, would have been to Heal your Tank. But your first instinct was the exact opposite. I'm sorry, but you're not cut out to be a Support. A Support's first instinct should be to HEAL. Especially when allies are at Critical HP. And they should NEVER EVER abandon the frontline (unless there's no way to save them and they're going to die, but then again, sometimes it's better to die with them than to flee and potentially get staggered). Now don't get me wrong, it's good of you to recognize allies on your flanks that are hurt. I'll give you props for that. But you need to recognize when they don't need your help. You need to better prioritize who actually DOES need your help. But if THIS is your playstyle, you're better off playing DPS. That way you can go on mad flanks and get kills without having to worry about your PRIMARY JOB, which is HEALING. This video footage, right here, is why Moira Mains get such a bad rap. I'll say it for third and final time: this video footage physically hurt me.
It's not the tank's job to "protect" the supports.. the tank needs to hold frontline / make space and help set up plays for the dps.. Some tanks can help peel if an enemy really overextends.. but if you think your teammates should "protect" you, you don't take accountability for your own feeding.. Of course if enemies play full dive or hard focus you, the team can help protecting you, but 99% of the time it's just preventable feeding..
I just don't listen to what my team says anymore. They don't have anything to back up their blame. I just came from a game where I was on sombra and the enemy had wrecking ball. Obviously I was destroying the ball by keeping him hacked, but when the whole team pushed with him I couldn't get the hack off and the ball would literally destroy the whole team. Anna couldn't sleep him and supports didn't keep anyone above half health so one pile drive was all they needed. As expected I never died with the team because of translocation. my team decided that all of their issues had to be one person's fault and they decided collectively that sombra "doesn't do anything" I pointed out that I had the only kills/the most damage/no deaths, but they were adamant it had to be sombra's fault because they just don't like the character. They proceeded to spend the rest of the match typing and simply let the enemy team push the robot to point in less than 3 minutes. Somehow they still thought it was my fault they lost.
I'd love to be that reaper in that situation, the amount of times that ana just baywatched into his open arms I'm pretty sure charged up at least 2 of his ults singlehandedly without including passive gain
2:00, the fact that there is so much to mention positioning wise that Emongg doesn't even address the Cassidy going melee mode up with the Wrecking Ball. On a side note, HOW IS THIS GOLD? I heard Flats talking about how ranks are inflated right now but I didn't think it was this bad. This could have been a Bronze Bingo video.
Frontlining ana trying to 1v1 a full charge, bubbled zarya. I'm dead lol. How is this not bronze?! How does an Ana play in the front?! She's the support with the longest range of the game lol. I already felt like the higher levels, gm/masters, of the game were being less competitive but this is just insane lol
I am halfway through the video till the part where the ana switches to moira. I think the problem is this is a moira main trying out ana, because they're trying to play ana like they would moira moving in to get a kill playing within a 20m range. With ana you setup and play from long distances, you don't need to move to heal someone or to kill just play the best position till you need to rotate. I think this is my stance on this right now but they might just be bad in general P.S oh yea they're definitely a tiktok moira, their moira was kinda stupid as well because their flanks were not smart. But yea this is someone with more experience in moira than ana and needs to adjust to the different play style
not only were the flanks not smart, but they had a lifetime to fade out from danger on multiple occasions and didn't take them. As a Moira main myself, it really hurt to watch. Now to be fair, sometimes DPS Moira IS the correct play style. It depends on the comp and a few other factors because, well, OW is a complicated game. But more often than not your damage shouldn't outpace your heals. And you DEFINITLY shouldn't stand in front of RAMATRA while he is PUNCHING IN YOUR FACE and you have FADE-OFF-COOLDOWN!!! (sorry, that one REALLY triggered me, lol)

@@sabby1shill her spacial awareness was poor. I didn't blame anyone its a low elo game they can all do a lot better but people blame tanks too easily because most players don't fully understand the value gained from good timing and positioning.
This player:
1. Doesn't actually need any peel because nobody is ever targeting them in the first place
2. Has so horrendous positioning that they end up becoming a coincidental target anyways
3. Has the attention span and priority discipline of a goldfish, forgets about an entire team fight to go chase some pipe dream 1v1 in the backline
4. The moment they swap to Moira they instantly hard flank with full dps tunnel vision and get punished for it INSTANTLY (again due to lack of discipline and poor positioning)
5. Has Bronze level of mechanical skill and ability understanding on both Ana and Moira
6. Argues in chat with their tank for no reason
7. Ends up getting carried by their tank and dps whom they've been complaining about the whole game
8. Complains in vid submission about their team, completely ignoring the plethora of flaws fully in their own control
Quite frankly, I'm astounded that they even are anywhere above Bronze. This player would probably be incapable of climbing if one day the matchmaker decided to send them to the depth of Bronze hell and told them "prove to me you actually do deserve your Gold rank". I’m a gold support main and I feel like I play so much better than this person…especially on Moira. A tank peeling for their supports IS always nice, but it’s not their primary job: that’s making space. “I need a shield because I’m getting dove” is such a passive way of thinking. Be the change you wish to see in the world!
YES! this, 100%
You know what really ends a dive? Landing a sleep dart.

@@TamWam_ you know overwatch is cooked when you have 1 good team and you just talk about it and cherish that memory for days

Factsss 😂😂😂😂😂
A tip for their Ana: nano confirmation. You still sometimes nano the wrong person by accident but it happens a lot less and you can nano from around a corner/safer positions. Also, try to bait out cds like deflect, fade, even defense matrix with melee. The animation is similar to the sleep dart one and most people are afraid of sleep so they use their escape abilities. Then you can sleep them 😊
with confirmation on you basically only mess up your nanos in really stressful situations where you're just smashing the buttons to get nano asap.
I’m gold in support and I usually get confirmation from a genji or whoever I can combo with to nano

im a diamond support with 500+ combined hours on ana and moira, so heres my two cents :) just personal opinion!! feel free to disagree
*Ana*
1. i feel like your ana was hard-scoping a bit. try to minimise your scoped shots when you dont need them cuz spacial awareness is important if youre playing in a risky position- also, shots are hitscan when scoped which is good but theyre also slower. at the range you were playing, i think you couldve got away with hip firing a bit more.
2. play from high ground, rotate your position if you have to and call on your team if you absolutely need them. dont engage with the enemy if you dont need to. not saying you have to healbot!! damage from afar though. ana doesnt really get value up close unless youre a mechanical god.
3. nade agressively. this is a guaranteed fight winner. you dont have to hit them directly, a surface nearby will cause the nade to splash and the enemy will be anti'd.
4. Nano usage and assessment. this is pretty self explanatory. you dont have to use nano to combo ults or even for a big teamfight. sometimes using it to save your teammate is enough. remember: saving a teammate is just as good as confirming an elim.
*Moira*

Listening to Emongg's voice get higher and slightly more frantic...is the treat of this video.

It was bad. Eventually the team swapped to Mei/Soldier/Hog so it was a lot easier to deal with.

when he said they didnt have to drop down, they had dropped cuz they were gettign attacked from behind. you can see the damage coming in. 7:16
Also becuase a reaper and sym can teleport you will always have to worry about being flanked. then in most cases the high ground is far back from your team. so they get past your team. you can ping but you'll most likely be dead by the time they get there. i do want to preface that there isnt a single spot on that map that a sym or reaper cant teleport to that an anna can get to.

That wasn't on you."
I have to 100% disagree.
That Zarya bubble must be very sleepy!
Hampter complains about no heals... My guy you're Hampter. Go find a damn health pack
OMG I WAS THE ENEMY MERCY, I MADE IT TO AN EMONGG VIDEO MOMMMMM
I just don't listen to what my team says anymore. They don't have anything to back up their blame. I just came from a game where I was on sombra and the enemy had wrecking ball. Obviously I was destroying the ball by keeping him hacked, but when the whole team pushed with him I couldn't get the hack off and the ball would literally destroy the whole team. Anna couldn't sleep him and supports didn't keep anyone above half health so one pile drive was all they needed. As expected I never died with the team because of translocation. my team decided that all of their issues had to be one person's fault and they decided collectively that sombra "doesn't do anything"
I pointed out that I had the only kills/the most damage/no deaths, but they were adamant it had to be sombra's fault because they just don't like the character. They proceeded to spend the rest of the match typing and simply let the enemy team push the robot to point in less than 3 minutes. Somehow they still thought it was my fault they lost.
That tank did great surviving with a brig and a flanking moira
The amount of support mains that need to watch this..... lol
I'd love to be that reaper in that situation, the amount of times that ana just baywatched into his open arms I'm pretty sure charged up at least 2 of his ults singlehandedly without including passive gain
"Save your slee... Ok, you can nano. Nano your ball, or your Cass."
_nanos Mercy_
That whole sequence was so funny. 😂
what the brig doin at 13:30 LMAO
First 3 minutes and we can tell this Ana is a boosted Bronze Ana
2:00, the fact that there is so much to mention positioning wise that Emongg doesn't even address the Cassidy going melee mode up with the Wrecking Ball.
On a side note, HOW IS THIS GOLD? I heard Flats talking about how ranks are inflated right now but I didn't think it was this bad. This could have been a Bronze Bingo video.
"anyone can be nanoed here..." Proceeds to nano the mercy after holding it for two pushes
Watching this made me ask why I'm a bronze player when *this* is gold.
It takes a lot to make this man even remotely angry, and this ana was exactly that "a lot"
Watching Rein being crit the whole time in front of Ana and she didn't even try to heal once... yeah your tank was not really the issue here
Frontlining ana trying to 1v1 a full charge, bubbled zarya. I'm dead lol. How is this not bronze?! How does an Ana play in the front?! She's the support with the longest range of the game lol.
I already felt like the higher levels, gm/masters, of the game were being less competitive but this is just insane lol
i love how emogg always acts like the vod can hear him lol
That song at 25:55 is hilarious, does the full version by itself exist anywhere?
Ball doesn’t seem aware of health packs existing
I am halfway through the video till the part where the ana switches to moira. I think the problem is this is a moira main trying out ana, because they're trying to play ana like they would moira moving in to get a kill playing within a 20m range. With ana you setup and play from long distances, you don't need to move to heal someone or to kill just play the best position till you need to rotate. I think this is my stance on this right now but they might just be bad in general
P.S oh yea they're definitely a tiktok moira, their moira was kinda stupid as well because their flanks were not smart.
(sorry, that one REALLY triggered me, lol)
im the ana's friend, and i can confirm he plays like this everygame lol
6:35
"Anyone can be nanoed here"
*instant regret*
how did this ana even get to gold with that aim alone omg
Zero shot this moira just walking at the team bouncing is gold 😂
6:35 is a great argument for why Ana's confirm nano boost option should be on by default
