That is correct this was the final episode in the original syndicated run.
viacom was the distrubutor of the nighttime version as well as family feud when it was syndicated on syndication
The contestant who lost is cute :)! and the one who won looks like a younger Jamie Gertz!
I think because they were already giving away so much in cash and prizes that they felt it was unnecessary.
Bob Barker will be missed forever.

i WONDER WWHY THE NIGHTTIME tpir DIDN'T USE THE dsw RULE.
WRONG! A one a week syndicated version started the same time as the daytime CBS run and ended in 1980.
Botany 500 has made any Game Show Host SNAPPY
Wink Martindale, Bob Eubanks, Bob Barker, Jack Barry, Tom Kennedy, Monty Hall, Bill Cullen, Jim Perry, Jim Peck, Jim Lange, Jim Caldwell, Alex Trebek, Dan Miller from Top Card & 10 Seconds, and even famous actors like Dick York, Dick Sargeant, Telly Savales, Sherman Hemsley, Jack Klugman and of course, actor and The Master of Family Feud Richard Dawson.
Bob Barker also wore suits made by Pierre Cardin (who died late last year).
Mark Goodson was cheap.
