My Tesla X 2016: I charged daily at 90% for the past 6 years . Hardly used super chargers . After 179k miles over 6 years, I have 15% battery degradation. At 100% it used to charge to 257 miles when new, now at 100% I get 219 miles .
My car warranty specifies replacement of battery within 8 years unlimited miles if it loses 20% battery . The warrant has changed after 2018 and no longer offers unlimited miles .

I sold my mylr a few months ago after buying it new. Went from 326 range to 315 in 8 months and 47k miles of ownership. I did Uber hence the high miles. Charged at home to 88-92% and would have to supercharge daily 3-4 hours into my day. I sold it because I truthfully never got anywhere near the 326 range no matter how slow I drove etc. I got closer to 240 miles +\-. I didn’t want to see the battery life after 50k miles and bring out of warranty. I replaced it with a 2001 rx 300 Lexus that I paid for with the 7k profit I made from selling the model Y. Couldn’t be happier

I never charge to 90% at superchargers. I only charge to 90% or greater at home at one kilowatt before a trip.

If you don't need the range daily you should charge only to what you need to have the car at 25 percent or more when you get home. And charge everyday or keep plugged in to 50 to 60 percent. I have a 23 x plaid 8k miles commute is 40 miles charged to 75 to 55 everyday at home no range loss. Keeping battery unnecessarily at high states is bad. Especially in warmer weather. Great battery tech but tesla is vague on daily levels. They want it easy for the masses. I have 24percent supercharger at 8k miles would only charge to what it said to continue trip they do that for speed but I'm convinced secretly for battery protection.

charge to 80% when you charge (unless going on road trip) and dont just charge it every night if you dont need to. If you come home with 54% and aint planning a tooooonnnn of miles the next day... dont charge it. let it sit. Run it down as much as yuo can and then charge it to 80%. Best for battery.
