I'm crossing my fingers for a rear cab body like the original RC10. The cab forward bodies are neat, but we need some classic buggy looking bodies with the cabs in the back.
No market for such a body on a modern race buggy among racers.
Like most guitars don't get played on a stage. I bet there are thousands of B6s and there will be thousands B7s that will not race competitively. In my opinion a rear cab retro ish design would sell well. Especially to older guys that love the look of the original. I would definitely buy 1 or 2.
Agreed I despise cab forward bodies. I never race, never will. I drive for fun on blacktop, dirt, grass, anywhere I can. Give us retro options.

Love everything about the new B7. Personally i will only go for JConcepts alu steering bell cranks and steering rack. I love my cars standard. Designed and driven as it was engineered to.

You've gotta be shitting me. I just bought the B6.4 two weeks ago. I haven't even got it fully assembled yet. I even emailed Team Associated and asked them if they were going to be releasing the B7 soon and they told me nothing in the near future. This makes me sick, I want to cry lol
2 years ago B6.3 was the latest technology.....then B6.4.......now B7.....total piss take. Its ok for Rivkin to bollock on about shit.....He DONT pay for it. !
Same her I bought mine got it together made it to track 2 weeks to the day of purchase everyone was talking about it. I look at it this way. The 6.4 has alot more setup info online and local racers. It be dumb to be firs5 guy to get the 7. You'd be on your own tuning it. If you know how to setup a car then you may have an advantage but average club racer your better off having some help. I was mad to but the 7 is basically a 6.4 they just kept scabbing 3d printed parts till it ran better and changed tranny more forward my battery is only one set of holes forward there's plenty of tuning 9ptions on the 6.4 there's guys still running 22 5.0s that cars been out awhile they stopped saling the carpet version. So older cars can be compeditive in the right hands and i know the 5.0 is the newest model tlr has but it's old now but it works. On dirt a rear motor car is hands down faster on our local track high grip the mid motor is way better. I think a b3 or b4 could compete on a loose club race track if not beat the mid motor cars. I'd run my b2 over my 22 2.0 on our dirt track anyday it'd fast on dirt the xx losi was even faster wish i still had my xx

The same thing happened when I bought the B74.1. The B74.2 came out like a month later so I was a little bitter that it happened again. Especially since I talked with someone from team associated a day before I purchased the B6.4. But yeah you make a whole lot of sense. Thanks for the different perspective. You've made this pill a lot easier to swallow.
@@4sunshine801 sometimes new isn't always better ethier. There's been alot of flops or dud designs over the yrs. Whe. The t4 come out I'd ran the t3 for yrs got a t4 boy that thing broke if someone bumped me hobby shop didn't carry parts not enough people running them. They had everything for my t3 the t3 was a faster oval carpet truck to why idk this was brushed motor days also but the b5 series I've heard to steer clear there junk so don't give up yet it took 4 trys to perfect the b6. I'm very happy with my 6.4 2 fastest guys 1 runs a b6.4 other an ld2 at that point its driver the 6.4 guy is a hair faster than the ld2 guy. The ld3 s us out but he hasn't jumped yet. He's got alot of his time in the ld2 same with the 6.4 guy he's got his failed he said I'm not buying that have to try to tune it in unless it proves itself to be better. So give it time it maybe worse than a 6.4 track I run mine on is high grip carpet more like a short course track has jumps. Well shorter chassis have more turning. Guy that uses to run on grass overseas told me they take there gold pans and cut the front off drill and retap holes making the car shorter. The biggest change I see on b7 is its longer more weight shifted to the front via the motor placement. That maybe to much for some tracks. Anyone dirt racer who's done this a good while will tell you rear motor car on loose track will win over any mid motor car so it depends on surface aswell. You'll like the dot 4 it's a tuff car to have broke it yet prob will though lol. I actually waited a few months to buy my 6.4 same shit happened I thought if I wait I'll catch that new model lol. I didn't wait long enough but if it did hit the hobby shop I'd still have bought the 6.4 just because it's proven itself and idk who to ask for tips noone has a 7 at my track. But that's shitty AE would lie to you about new release 😕 I really like alot of losi s products for off road horizon hobby owns most all of this hobby the scte platforms are nice got a 1 and 3.0 the 5t is nice have a 1.0 and there buggies and struggles are sweet I have and old 8eight 2.0 I like the car it does pretty good for its age. With dirt its alot of setup and driver diets easier to drive but there's alot of freaking fast guys wouldn't matter if losi gave me a setup buggy I'd still lose so it's about having fun. I think of it this way race your car watch your times try to improve on your times race yourself don't even think about what other guys are running there's always a faster guy. I used to win alot on carpet oval I don't really win shit now lol. I like the hobby it helps me mentally alot and it's just good old fashion fun.

I'd like to see a full list of color options. Not just hardware and turnbuckles but wheel colors to match. DE's are too heavy. Ever considered transparent colored lexan wings? Pre-cut window film in colors? Variety of color option decals sets like Xray has and chassis protectors?

As an old guy who has been racing since the 80s, please make bodies that are attractive. These new cab forward bodies are just ugly and don't exist in actual motorsports. ROAR should outlaw them just for being ugly. Take the old RC10 Body from 1988 and work from there. Read Cab please.
Team Associated hasn't a clue what to do with their models names it's laughable. Look out for B7.1 within 4 months of this bleeding money from consumers. Once I sell off my AE cars I'll never buy another.

It’s been a year and a half since the b6.4. If you don’t want the best car on the market that’s your choice but don’t blame them for wanting and being the best.

Why do those tie rods have slits in them? So your tie rod wrench can slip in between them and not work properly.
It is designed so the wrench fits between the "slits"
