Thank you, Mr. Kholodenko for the most moving, heart-wrenching deliverance of Ludi 5 among contemporary living pianists’ I’ve come to experience. I am convinced that kholedenko’s erudite, internalized portrait of the author Beethoven himself contrary to the conventional surface pomposity we usually expect of this concerto (as a result being associated with whom the work was about to be initially dedicated), does so much more justice to the piece we know as Emperor. God bless you🌺
Am i the only one feeling a certain old-fashioned scent in this execution? I seem I hear an extensive usage of legato, of corona (the "assertions" of the 1st movement...) , it seems to me more into the beauty of the sounds (and sounds are indeed beautiful), in smoothing and flowing, while avoiding any possible contrast, rather than highlighting them. The 5th concerto is usually visceral, strong. Here I found more solemn than stormy. A bit too "comfortable" for my tastes, but bravo to the Orchestra which adapts to director's wishes and can play so different with other Dirigent (like Reinhard Goebel, z.B.).
Herr Beethoven ist einzigartig und wunderbar, Danke! 😊
Bravo! I know Vadym! Amazing pianist!
Una interpretación bellísima del 5° de Beethoven. Vadym Kholodenko es un pianista extraordinario, exquisito. La orquesta y el director de lo mejor.
Very good Soloist & Conductor with Orchestra, Bravo!

Io anche apprezzo Rosalia Gomez Lasheras e David Barenboim.....

A bit boring some parts.
The audio is not good I don't know if is my problem, the sound of piano seems far.
Разочарование.... Пианизм обветшал
Ни бетховенской энергетики, ни сакральности.. Утренник в детском саду 😢
Точно
Pathetic to see people in face diaper when we know it was all for nothing.
