Yeah, honestly at this point I'd love to see the other action figure characters. It's been hard for me to transition from seeing this book at the true return of the DCAU and their comics to the fun, largely separate stories they actually are... but now that I have, I want to see how far they can push these new bounderies!
I’m a huge fan of dcau content and really enjoy your channel. It helps that all of you have a passion for the content. Also James it’s never too early to buy batman toys for your son.
To answer you question at the end of the video I personally wouldn't mind seeing any of the toys make it in to the comic but it should be for a story related reason and I can only really see that working with Hush not the alternate Batmen, although they could theoretically work in Justice League Infinity with it's multiversal shenanigans. Also I hope Ty makes a full recovery with his chemo treatment. Thoughts and prayers to Ty and his family in this difficult time.
While all the action figures are cool, it would be better to just have characters who work for each story. But if one needs to be in there make it Flashpoint Batman

I would like to see the action figure characters but only if they have a story to tell, i don't want an awkward flashpoint batman showing up just for the sake of it😂. Great video btw
James, Ted and Mattie, great video as always! These videos always light up my day. Can't wait for more content on B: TAC and JLI (and maybe The Zeta Project, come on).
I’m more just curious to see how they’d fit all of the action figure characters in (especially Batman Who Laughs), just because it seems really random for the storyline. Either way I look forward to these videos the most. Thanks guys.
I think this comic has to potential to be better then the first season. Especially since they don’t have to really about shoehorning in character due to toys. If maybe season three had flash point Batman and batman who laughs in it, it wouldn’t be the worst thing. Keep up the great work guys especially for keeping me update on these comics!
To answer the question in this video, I would love for them to do their version of the Batman Hush story line, since I really enjoyed that story. For the other characters, if they can find a way to bring them in, without it feeling weird, I'm all for it.
Don't really have any desires for the stories, I just wanted to say I absolutely love this channel. Y'all have breathed new life into (for? I dunno) my love for the DCAU.
I mean despite not knowing most of characters in the second line of action Figures, Flashpoint Batman, Hush and Talon all being exposed to me thanks to the DCAMU Films though (SPOILER SECTION FOR DCAMU FILMs THAT CAME OUT SEVERAL YEARS AGO), Hush being Riddle would not work here. Hush is sorta a weird character as far as I am aware but could maybe work but like can't have any collectable for Batman to grab if we thinking of the timeline or not. Bat Dad coming in could help Bruce in some wacky one off story with the Bat who laughs or maybe MR WING!? That being said with a little of the creative juices and some burgers straight off the propane powered grill in thanks to Hank Hill Assistant Manager from Strickland Propane located in the fictional Arlen Texas I am sure these character could pop up in a possible season three for the Adventure continues line.
@8:50 Hmm head canon but maybe after some point in time after facing so many villians Batman began to explore recreating the technology and designs of whoever started to come into his rogue's gallery. Possibly to better under their mindsets and their suit's weaknesses or if need be to someday go undercover as those same villains themselves. Cuz he's hush lol. (Or Batman just takes them from Arkham to prevent the villain's from getting their hands on them again)
Everytime I see firefly ,who seems to get a lot of love in DCAU comics, I'm reminded of the BvS promo comic where Batfleck fought him and showcased to be active in a Gotham full of Batman stuff and look then commenced to have next to nothing in terms of Batman stuff or villain reactions in the actual movie.
Just a thought, but remember how Earth-1 and Earth-2 in the comics were a retcon to a degree since there was never a clear line where Superman of Earth-2 was replaced by Superman of Earth-1? Well, what if this is the same, but for TAS + TNBA and Justice League/Batman Beyond? If we label Justice Lords as Earth-3 for sake of tradition, perhaps the BTAC timeline is actually Earth-1 and Justice League/Batman Beyond was Earth-2. Hence why the other stuff is canon except when it isn't plus why it slid forward a few decades, just as Earth-1 Superman landed on Earth decades later than Earth-2 Superman.
@@srstriker6420 I'm talking specifically the Pre-Crisis Earth-2, which was home to the Justice Society which counted Superman and Batman of Earth-2 amongst their number and fought in World War 2. The older Superman, Kal-L, from Infinite Crisis, is the Earth-2 Superman. When Crisis happened, their timelines were folded together and E2 Superman + E2 Lois were basically erased from canon but lived on outside spacetime. The rest of the Earth-2 heroes either were placed in their original time period or merged with their Earth-1 counterpart (for example, Batman and Catwoman's more honest and romantic relationship comes primarily from their Earth-2 counterparts' marriage, but Barry Allen and Jay Garrick remained two different people entirely). The DCAU never introduced Earth-2, although it intended to riff on it with a fake Earth-2 episode. That episode got made with expies of them, and is the one where they're in a 50s style world that turns out to have nuked itself to Hell during the Cuban Missile Crisis and everything they saw having been an illusion created by a psychic mutated by the bombs falling. Since there is no Earth-2 shown, but we see that the DCAU shares elements of Post-Crisis New Earth as of JLU (Captain Marvel being a part of the universe, the Blackhawks having served in WW2, Dinah Lance not being a meatsuit worn by her mom's psyche, Captain Nazi, and more) despite _also_ having a Multiverse (as shown with the nuked universe and the Justice Lords), it can be presumed that there's no traditional Earth-2 in the DCAU. Which leaves room for a non-traditional Earth-2. Since the age of heroes began later traditionally in Earth-1 than in Earth-2, it makes sense for the JLU-onwards timeline to be Earth-2 while Earth-1 would be the slid forward timeline.
Good news: in the comics, Dionesium *is* the Lazarus Pit! As in, Dionesium is what the Lazarus Pit is made of - a metal in liquid form. If we do start playing with Metal stuff when we (presumably still) get to the Batman Who Laughs, maybe we make that connection here too?
You guys rock. I'm a big fan of the dcau and enjoy the content you share in this channel. I was just wondering if you guys could make a video about identifying the different cars, trucks and other vehicles shown in the DCAU starting from btas to stas and so on. It will be fun to know the cars and vehicles shown from the 40's and 50's era especially as seen in btas
That’s a fun idea! I don’t think any of us are “car guys” unfortunately, but we’re starting up a new podcast soon, in which my pal Brian HAS already made a couple car guesses. So look out for that!
I'm actually wanting to see how they'd tackle the Batman who Laughs in the DCAU especially if he's based off his DCAU styled figure. With how twisted he is even by evil Batman standards it'd make for a pretty compelling and horrifying story arc for DCAU Batman to go through when it comes to coming face to face with a side of him he doesn't want to admit having along with being scared of turning into if he's not careful.
I would love to see any of the rest of the action figure characters be introduced in BTAC. The way that the writing team are able write completely original stories in the DCAU with pretty widley know characters now like Talon & The Court of Owls, it'd be amazing to see their take on a Hush story. I could see them doing something similar to what DC did for the new Batman: A Death in The Family film.
kinda hope we get some of those action figure characters showing up as i'm interested at how they'd go about incorporating them now that they have some more time to think it through
this was great and I do hope for ty speedy recovery. also, the action figure characters would be cool, but seeing that justice league infinity is more focused on the multiverse of the DCAU they would feel better as cameos in that book rather than this one.

On one hand, Paul Dini has written a bunch of great Hush stories. On the other, though, I think I'd like to see a bit of a break from adapting things for the book. Smaller, self contained stories were always what BTAS and TNBA were best at.
As long as the stories are good, they can bring in whomever they want. Especially if it makes someone's head explode in one of your breakdown videos! No offense intended to you guys, but it's hard to deny how entertaining it is when it happens.
Tough question. I originally leaning towards seeing the toy designs but then i remember we're not in the nineties and don't need to limit a ceative team.
If they can find a great story to transition these characters into the comic. I would totally be down for that. A flashpoint universe of the DCAU would be really interesting given how we don’t know Thomas Wayne very well.
I feel like Thomas and Batman Who Tries Too Hard are too busy to incorporate in any fashion besides cameos. Delving into their stories will be a pain, especially for Chuckles.
I think the only way Thomas Wayne as flashpoint batman should show up is as a nightmare sequence for Bruce. Yes I realize that "nightmare sequence" is very invocative of Zack Snyder and the DCEU, but the DCAU has had a couple of different nightmare scenes that have deeply effected Bruce. Bruce struggles to be batman, he questions if he is doing his parents justice, and to have a nightmare where Thomas appears to bruce as a more violent version of batman, would probably make Bruce question his role as Batman even more. This could be a nod to Terry's struggle seeing the role of Batman as a curse, as seen in the JLU episode Epilogue (I know you guys dont want that episode to be canon, but it could be a nice, and somewhat subtle nod).
I hope Tye gets well soon. Hearing about what he's going through was devastating.

As long as the stories are good, they can bring in whomever they want. Especially if it makes someone's head explode in one of your breakdown videos! No offense intended to you guys, but it's hard to deny how entertaining it is when it happens.
Tough question. I originally leaning towards seeing the toy designs but then i remember we're not in the nineties and don't need to limit a ceative team.
here's hoping for that sweet red hood
If they can find a great story to transition these characters into the comic. I would totally be down for that. A flashpoint universe of the DCAU would be really interesting given how we don’t know Thomas Wayne very well.
You might be forgetting the zombie fight that Batman took place in when battling Hades in the Justice league episode Paradise Lost.
I did when it recorded, but remembered while editing, which is why I layered a clip of that over the top of that moment 👌
Yes batman comics
