- Richard Boyd Barrett TD calls on the Irish Government to recognise the Aamnesty International report calling out Israel for operating a racist and cruel system of apartheid against the Palestinian people.
I thought everyone that is involved in politics are just liars & hypocrites

And guess what? Israel won that war, they successfully defended their land and even annexed some Egypt territory, Israel humiliated all arab countries. Egypt surrendered and Israel forgive them by giving their territory back. That's why Arab countries are silence, because they tried and they lost. There's never been a Jew-hating movement in which Irish Catholics have not been prominent.
My best friend is a Russian who is married to a Ukrainian. She is pregnant, and they are living in Ukraine. When I heard the news of attacking Ukraine, I paniced for her life and her family. Luckily, she traveled to the US a couple of days before the bombing, yet her husband and family are still in Ukraine. I kept checking every day because I was sincerely worried; meanwhile, I couldn't help but notice the outrage that exploded in Europe because of V.P. attacks, while Palestinian-Israeli conflict everyday war crimes are just passing unnoticed. I couldn't stop wondering how come the Ukrainians and the neighboring countries in such circumstances are able to discriminate between the refugees from Ukraine in treatment based on color or race giving the priority to flee to the pure like Ukrainian on the borders of Ukraine. People's life are literally on stack, and they are still checking one's own ethnicity and color. Europe, including the poor of it, are welcoming hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians, companies are converting their offices to temporary homes and offering jobs to the Ukrainian. Nothing of that happened for Palestinian or Iraqi or Syrian refugees. On the contrary, every single country was complaining about the thousands they were opening their boarders to, counting heads and leaving the rest strive to death on their boarders. Only because they are WHITE and Christian. A truth the Western media failed to phrase it better! I feel sad that my sincere worry is now turned to a wish that Europe tastes again the sorrow of being in a war, the insecurity of becoming an inferior race. Being civilized is to look equally to everyone, believing that we all have a contribution to offer to the world to advance and to live better. Russia's attack showed that the majority of Europe, if not all of it, are way far from being civilized.
You just gave me hope that somewhere in that uncivilized world, there are still people who are true to themselves and are HUMANS. Thank you!
