      I'm glad it's no longer a Christian dominated country, but the coalition government are disgraced in their failure to take any decisive action to stop the genocide. No one of conscience should ever again vote for FF, FG and most shamefully of all the Green party - propping up this genocide ignoring, capitalist, neoliberal hellscape

    Imagine if those 150 or is it 190 countries who are in agreement with South Africa got smart and rather than merely supporting the current set of criminal proceedings started criminal proceedings against those complicit in the crimes. Imagine Ireland & Kenya joining forces to prosecute the UK government for its complicity.

      Really? I hope you include the 19 Arabic/Islamic Countries that refused to support South Africa, regarding their case with the 'ICJ', against Israel?
      19, Muslim Countries are part of and signed up to the 'Convention', regarding the International Court of Justice! Not one of the 19, Islamic Countries supported South Africa! In it's case against Israel!!
      These, Countries, include, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, UAE, even Somalia!! To name but a few of the 19 Countries!! Are, these Countries morally bankrupt to???
      So, spare me your criticism of Western Countries!!

    Richard Boyd Barrett!! Why are you, not speaking about and highlighting the plight! Of the 600,000 thousand Irish children living in poverty, in the Republic of Ireland!!? A, First World Country!!?
    Why, are you not speaking about the millions of Irish people who cannot afford their utility bills? Or, what about the crisis in the health service? The Housing crisis? Any concern for the millions of Irish people now having to use and rely on foodbanks!! Just so they can feed their children and themselves!!?
    Why, are you not speaking about the concerns of millions of Irish people, regarding illegal and mass immigration!! You owe your, position, to the Irish people who voted for you!! Do your Job!! Represent them!!

      You would think with all the talks of the Holocaust to try to justify the current actions of the Israeli government, you would at least know what the word "genocide" means... 🙄
      Spoiler alert: it doesn't happen in one day. It's more of a systemic thing. Like the 75 of apartheid, terror, and abuse of human rights that Israel has imposed on the Palestinian people.

    Is there anything we can do to make our government take action. Like legal action. It's embarrassing that we are sitting here while this is going on with the oppression we have suffered. It's our duty to stand with the oppressed!

    • @MisterKen81
      @MisterKen81 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Legal action? Like South Africa? They’ve spent MILLIONS on that ICJ Case. They have rolling blackouts and food shortages. In the next 5 years SA will developed in to hell.
      You want Irish politicians to do the same,we to Ireland? Do you know how the world actually works or have you spent life wasting it on Facebook?

    • @Irishrover11
      @Irishrover11 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@MisterKen81 your asking me if I want Ireland to developed into hell because I want our government to take a stand against the butchering of 12000 children. Yeah sure, that's what I want cause I don't know how the world works lol. Facebook?! Wtf are you on about?
      You'd say the choctaws were fools sending aid to Ireland when we were dying wouldn't you? Your a credit to your people. 🤡
