Bruh got the arcade mode physics on jumping across that highway 💀
There is cars everywhere except on the highway😂😂😂
I'm hoping in future updates they'll allow emergency response vehicles to respond the opposite direction if a highway has a massive pile up. That would be a pretty big improvement
Yup I hope so too!
Glad you are making a realistic city and not just spamming skyscrapers everywhere.
i mean spamming skyscrapers is also pretty cool
@@jaggumonk7no it's not. It's ugly and unrealistic.
@@jaggumonk7it’s really not…
@@Stinka071 i don't think a new city developing in 2023 all of a sudden is very realistic is it?
@@Stinka071arguing just to argue
The low rent complaints are from the homes being close to alot of amenities. The houses want to up zone. You can change the single family homes to row houses or medium density.
I would have put it next to the prison.
Never thought the mountain tunnel you made would become a major accident spot but yeah that car falling in the river is uncertain start building the airport and cargo so that it would look great and the goods get easy to transport from one city to the other.
Never lower the residential taxation instead build the welfare offices in all the districts assigned so that those welfare offices would provide financial support to the citizens so they won't complain much. most of the high rent issues occur due to poor people living in some medium rent zones streets and yeah, I love your city and your planning Timeister.
That car dancing across the highway and doing an acrobat jump off the bridge was hilarious though 😂😂😂
Try not to lower your taxes too much just because of the high rent, there will always be some people complaining as long as majority is fine then it shouldnt be a problem
you know what they need - an accident replay button. so when you find an accident like that you can rewind and see what the hell happened. I mean how does a semi truck end up thrown up onto a mountain ! I wanna see that !
seeing the bay area with snow is tripping me up as a californian
to fix the rent develop a neighbourhood with small houses built on 2 or maximum 3 plots, that will solve the rent issue.
Firetrucks, ambulances, and police cars have a surprisingly small amount of priority on the streets 😄 They politely wait in traffic, let people cross the street etc
Loving this series! The realism in where you place things is so satisfying
hell yeah when a car takes a trippel salute over the bridge to the water people dies xD
Maybe you should add in “bus roads” to allow for U turns for emergency vehicles on the highway like real life. The Devs should add a dedicated emergency roads for highways they could have the police park there to catch speeders! It would be a cool idea helicopters could have helped in that emergency.
loving the city, love how you are actually growing the city like a actual city would grow! and very creative street layouts
just a tip, it would be cool if you placed some of the special buildings inner town and not in the suburbs since usually that's how it works on real life, the CBD district can get more tax therefore can afford get things like intelligence buildings, big hospitals etc!
Found this channel, love it and love the city and story behind it. Also, you a fellow Canadian eh? Cheers bud, keep up the great work 👌🏻
Another excellent vid thanks! I would suggest putting on mailbox at the college as they'd definitely have one or two. I also wouldn't have lowered my taxes so much. Maybe set them at 9%. It might have felt like a generic episode to you but you got quite a bit done I think and improved your citizens lives.
you should clear the trees around the power lines
Wow, biggest accident I've seen in CS2!
Both sides of the highway and off it onto the rails and river!
high rent is just realistic for the bay area map 😅
Oh, by the way, last episode you said you possibly didn't understand how the slope tool works. It's actually super useful, you right click on where you want the slope to start and left click where you want it to end, then drag to the place where you first right clicked and it will create a perfect slope. I know the smoothing tool can do a similar job but it's unpredictable, the slope tool is actually really nice.
Damn, devs missed a great opportunity. Since cars don't yield to emergency services like they hoped, they should have made the shoulder a lane for emergency only. Prevent despawns until all the required services have arrived, and make the game harder that way. I assume after a time limit if the police, ems, fire don't make it, it just despawns.
Sometimes the high rent comes from a child being the only resident in the home (and sometimes brings their pet too) and the little rascal won't even look for a job. Kids these days. Hopefully, they'll patch that real soon.
You need a road maintenence building. the white on the roads means they are degraded. This will cause accidents especially in extreme weather especially snow
“I think rents just gonna have to be high” 😂😂 classic city building if ive ever seen it LMAOOO
Love the vids too ❤
11:40 that dude just DIED
You need to start working on your special industries, you're importing almost everything and it's a big chunk of your expenses
The Garbage might be under Budget -> Service trade. If you click on one of the options under Revenues or Expenses it shows on the right where money is coming or going.
Regarding the issue of moving the rail yard and maximizing oil drilling, maybe I would suggest moving it near the airport later. Apart from the airport having a route for loading and unloading cargo when the airport is upgraded (correct me if I'm wrong), maybe it could also open a new branch route.
You need to apply the upgrades to your existing communication towers. Much like your police station, your forgetting to apply upgrades to your service buildings before building more.
You should really do underground metros now. Two lines parallel of each other in the north and south part of the city and another one going from the college town to the south line. That way people could get from that town all the way to the technical school with just one stop
May be industrialization solve the issue of high rent by creating job we should agreesive on industrial zone thoughts!😊
While you were putting the mail boxes I thought that you really have to extend the bus network!
Yup for sure!
Road maintanance vehicles deal with traffic accidents. The cars didn't just despawn.
16:29 Hey corporations are people too 😡
RIP to the driver who fell off the bridge and into the water. :(
12:43 💀
Helipads. That would have helped that car crash and fires.
Have you thought abt redeveloping the river and river walk?
Yup I'd like to fix it up a bit eventually!
what mods do you use for this city if any?
It bothers me how the plots have weird grass that doesn’t even match or have a snow effect, like bro 😭
build a low income neighboorhood. yk like the projects. they arent around in canada n stuff especially up north but would look cool
You really can't fix the rent issue as it's still a bug in the game. I've seen play where a child living by himself before even joining elementary school. Game still needs many fixes to function on normal scale.
Place the CIA building to improve crime
it doesn’t say it’s exporting the garbage no?
It does but you can't see how much money its generating.
first!
Move the poop
That brownwater still needs to be delt with.
Yeah I expected it to be gone by now because the pipe is no longer there. Maybe the current isn't strong enough to dilute it.
@@Timeister Land Reclaiming For Rich People.
First
Update your transit network, theres a bus terminal near that new neighborhood but has very little utilization.
traffic AI in this game is unbelievably bad
why everyone making realistic cities? you have no regreting or embracing about the cities something?
