Thank you so much, Ty! This is an awesome sermon. I have two dear cousins of mine that are addicted to drugs and alcohol, even though they've tried so much to be free. I never understood it this way until you explained it so eloquently that they're trying to hide/alleviate pain. They had really difficult childhood and all that you explained about pain made total sense. I just paused this and texted both of them to let them know that I love them and that they mean so much to me, and to let them know I am praying for them. God will grant them victory, in the name of Jesus! 🙏🏼❤️

I've always resonated with you and your story since i first read See with New Eyes many years ago. I've been clean and sober for 38 years and even though i was raised in the church, God saved me through AA. Thanks for all your Love, Hope and Inspiration!!!
