  • Social media is built to force you into an isolating echo chamber of your own thinking. You click and click and click until the worst version of yourself becomes the only version of yourself. Here’s an alternative way to form your opinions.

Most excellent! Thank you for your message. You pull lessons out of scripture and apply it to our contemporary times so well.

Thank you God for leading Ty to bring Bible truth in this subject. It’s so important to know we are the product in this falling dark world of social media, using things that could be good for evil because of the love of money. Let us remember the fruit of the spirit found in Galatians 5:22-23.

Great sermon. But I was watching the sermon on my phone in my bedroom, close to where my Alexa sits on the nightstand, and when you said “hey Alexa” she responded to what you were saying! Haha!

There is one thing that is not getting louder and louder, and that is the sound of ministers preaching about Christ and His marvelous righteousness. Why is that?

Don’t wait on the minister. get up and preach yourself.

Agree with Caleb in a way... We cannot wait for ministers to undo their ingrained training, which presupposes that righteousness by faith is of little value (or flat out heretical)! We must speak up and share the message in our own areas of influence, and live the message in how we interact with our church and leaders. God bless!

Exactly. How can they preach about the present truth when they are preaching about this preaching from Ty.

Wow! There are determining factors that determine whether it’s our own voice or not. He always talks about love but this message itself is determining his prejudice about others opinions.

I clicked "like" on this video. Are these videos monetized? Just kidding. A few weeks ago I cut my FB time to less that one hour a week and am glad I did.

It is definitely in our nature to justify our opinions, and this not a new phenomenon because of social media, but social media has amplified this especially with its targeting algorithms. Algorithms also recommend the most popular content of similar content you have interacted with. Like interacting with Christian quote posts on a new account, but getting Christian memes as recommendations even if you haven’t interacted with any memes (that you are aware of anyway😅)

True this. So if you wanted to do real research on other ideologies, you have to use the computer of a person who believes those ideologies. It's easier and better to assume the worst, and yet love that person like Jesus does. You also have to assume the worst about your own opinions.

Last week I was blocked (without any explanation) from Ty Gibson's FB page, simply because of the following comment and questions I posted:
"It is past time God's people stop allowing the forces of darkness to control us! Satan is very pleased that his servants have locked you in your homes like criminals, closed your churches and schools, and otherwise controlled your lives. All of which severely limits your face-to-face witnessing, helping others, and performing the many other activities that bring us joy and a healthy mind, body, and spirit.Where is your "red line"? At what point will you finally stand up and say, NO MORE!?Nationally Forced Vaccinations? 12 Month + lockdowns?National Sunday Law?Unable To Buy Or Sell Without A Government Mark?75% Income Tax? Forced Microchipping?National Mask Mandate?Permanently Losing Your Business/Job?"

Bryan, That is something you should post on your own page, not someone else’s page. That may not be the message Ty wants to advertise or project to others. Dan
