Hello brother.. Beatyfull
I was lucky enough to go there in the 90s. This checkstation makes me sad. Gone is the wild, free feeling of actually being out of big brothers long arm.
Way before passports were needed, my husband & I went. We walked into the town & had a delicious lunch. The town has grown! And a step up, electricity!!!
While there, he bought a white rock necklace for me. I still get comments when wearing it.
Wow, the river is very low... need rain!
That's not a cheap price for Mexico! I've traveled all over Mexico, and 3 dishes plus those drinks would have been the equivalent of $15 in pesos. But I understand why. I imagine in Boquillas, most of the people eating there are Americans from Big Bend paying in the dollars, so they upped the prices. Anyhow, thanks for this video. Very helpful. I plan to visit Boquillas today.
Looks like they Finley got electricity. 20 years ago their was none. It has grown more buildings. I believe it's about 200 miles to their next town. In Mexico.
Está bien caro
