finally able to do the outside 3turn today (still on right foot) but it's a start. thanks guys :) but your tips about working on the backward edges first is really important. once the edge is solid or decent, then do 2 foot backward turn, then pick up one leg. voila (it's not that easy but that's the process I went through) - a few weeks
Good!! :-) Also what will help you is strengthening your backward edges. Or you can do backward double presses as shown in our Skating Essentials playlist.
Kseniya and Oleg Official Channel yup :) now my coach wants me to do it without relying on my hand. she wants me to try to keep the hands on a 3 o'clock position. like a loop jump position..
Keep working and you will get it! Your check should come from your upper body cross checks. So you should be able to check even if your hands are down.
The backward outside three-turn is the only requirement I still have to do to finish Free Skate 1, and I have been working on this one requirement since March. So I'm hoping that some of what you've shown me in this video will help. :)
at 1.37 she's not at all on the heel ; she's skating backward and on the ball of the foot or slightly further back and then After the turn when she's going forward she's on the back part of the blade.
I guess if the hips turn to a certain direction, the soulders should turn to the opposite direction to prevent the whole body from turning with the hips.
Yowza. You should get some shorts with a coccyx pad. I wear Xion boxer shorts beneath trousers, fantastic. There are other makes, look for ones with d3o. It’s an amazing shock absorbing foam.

3 turns are my favorite.. I don't know why but I can't deal with mohawks... they stress me out

If you stall you may fall😂 me 😂 I can usually do this but last week I fell and chipped my coccyx bone 🤷🏼♀️
