- Finally, an original song for everybody’s favorite [[Number 1 Rated Salesman1997]].
If you couldn’t tell, this song may have taken me a little longer than normal. I’m becoming very fond of lyrical songs, and very not fond of making extensive animation for the video, but it certainly brings the videos to the next level.
While writing this, I did something a little different with the lyrics to fit Spamton a little more. I wanted to repeat lines throughout the songs in different ways due to his erratic speech and constant callbacks to random things. So even if the story is moving forward, sometimes the lyrics will repeat something already mentioned or explained in an earlier verse. I also got to test out some sound effects on my vocals so that was fun.

I think that when spamton says heaven,he means us,real life people. So during his battle when he asks heaven if there watching, he wants us to watch. But little does he know were the ones fighting him.

I love how, for basically every single time Spamton is in his NEO form, he’s projecting on to you. My favorite line from him is in his Snowgrave fight, where he states, “THERE WILL BE NO MORE [Miracles]. NO MORE [Magic].” As reference to how your, and his, companions have abandoned him.
He also does this during Snowgrave, where he compares Kris’s situation of trying to call out to their friends to his own tragedy with the Addisons.

I like how in the flashback bits he doesn't have the glasses as in game swatch tells us that people imitate his look (hence spamton's glasses) Really appreciated that detail
Also, in the alleyway is has a half torn poster from when he was a [[BIG SHOT]], and then he doesn't have his glasses
I also notice he doesn't have the lines at his mouth indicating his jaw is separate from his cheeks

Wow. Recently I have fallen in love with Spamton. I really like his story, his appearance, his fate and character. This song and the melody of this song are very suitable for Spamton. It's very cool)
My fav part has to be the "Wow I'm feeling good, aren't you feeling great? Heavens here to watch you as your friends disintegrate," it feels so smooth 2:02 - 2:08
Was watching a different Spamton animation and this was a suggested video - they did a similar thing with gradually phasing in the body after focusing on the eyes "booting up" (instead of flashing like in game), the music/lyrics fitting perfectly.
I've got several favorite parts of this video, and that's one of them.

Edit: yeah now the part you mentioned is my favorite. It's also amazing how all that changes is the angle of his eyebrows yet it conveys such drastically different emotions. That the animator managed to create a base expression suitable to optimism/determination/frustration while still being 100% in keeping with canon Spamton's appearance. I can't draw worth beans (though I write) so this absolutely astounds me (puppet rigging I understand in theory).
My fave bit is the “[[funky]] little [[worm]]”

Normal Spamton is trying to convince you to help him, while also kind of randomly explaining how you’ll be [[BIG], and how he’ll make sure you’re [BIG].
While Spamton Neo is basically saying that there was fine print HE didn’t even see, and that he once again needed YOU (Kris) to help, but instead of a quest, he needed YOU, your SOUL, Kris’ soul, and that he wasn’t going to stop until he got it, or he was trashed.
(By the way, the parts with the TV’s were pretty cool! Kinda reminded me of the concept of the Chapter 3 version of Mike)
The "fine print" was those strings. Poor little ad program, he hadn't known about those and thus possibly wasn't intending to take Kris' (or Ralsei's/Susie's) SOUL.

@@R8MIX I do like how he still emphasized the "We". In Undertale, both SOULs of a monster/human seem to be aware and capable of controlling the body (True Lab). In Deltarune (Ch2), Queen muses if *any* sufficiently Determined Lightener could create a Dark Fountain. Could a Darkner absorb SOULs as well?
Because now I'm mega curious.

Keep in mind that the rules of Deltarune are different from those of Undertale, and there's evidence to suggest that Monster mechanics are similar to Human mechanics in Deltarune.

..... I really hope there's a bit in Ch3 if you load him onto the Empty Disk but never install it into the machine.
That would be very cool to see. And apparently, depending on which SAVE file you load up, the stuff in Asriel's or Kris's drawer will be different. So if it's possible to take Spamton into future chapters, what would happen if the bedroom becomes a Dark World, and you take the Loaded Disk in there?

You forget the Kris is also a but a puppet, the players puppet, they are forced to do things they would never do, over and over, across countless timelines,
Spamton, and Jevil are Gaster's puppets, a being of equal power to the player.
This realization is called God and some worship it, others curse it, I just tolerate it till a more desirable option presents itself.

@@corvus196 as I said I tolerate the concept of God(s), divine arbitration, etc but don't directly care or necessary benefit from them much the same way a video game character has to tolerate what ever the player decides to do with them be it nice and kind or down right insane and homicidal any implied pretence of Christianity is merely the result of it being prevalent in modern society but is not the intended scope of my statement regarding the player's relationship and influence over their character and by extent all other NPC's. I just find it amusing to imagine an alternate universe where a all powerful entity akin to what could be called a god whimsically forces it's will upon sentient life for it's own personal amusement in the same way we enforce our will through Kris or perhaps over Kris assuming he has a will of his own.
I love how calm Spamton is compared to other songs like Big Shot with lyrics (Juno and MOTI), and Ad Infinitum.

I've just realized that the textbox colors in the "you want it, you need it, you have it, you've seen it" all correspond to a certain character and their relationship with 'freedom'
You need it is Kris, because their free will has been overridden by the player.
You have it is Susie, who is the only one to actively defy our influence and commands.
You've seen it is Ralsei, who appears to know more than he lets on about Kris's relationship with the soul.
And you want it must be Noelle, I guess because she is in a similar boat as Kris, just to a lesser level (excluding Snowgrave).
Nice job on that! The color coding helped a lot to analyze this.

I've noticed that Jevil and Spamton both have yellow in their color scheme , unlike any other character other than Kris and phycopathical enraged Susie. You see where I'm going with this? I think yellow is the color for insanity , your brave but only because how brash and morally empty you've become.

i love how not only you refence lore said by other charecters but lore said by spamton himself aswell, what i am now just relizing on how his neo form looks like an angel, and how the strings are what powers that form, along with how he mentions heaven & freedom are the same thing, it reminds me of how many people think that heaven is eternal peace & eternal happiness, but both are essentially not possible, so when spamton thinks that hes about to go to heaven when you cut his last string, it turns out that the freedom that he thought was possible, was impossible to reach, and after years of his life trying to achive true freedom, he had given up. spamton is full of perserverance, but even the most determined person eventually HAS to give up when they cant reach it. thats just what happens, spamton dosent GET a happy ending like many of the other charecters in the game

Spamton has the possibility to further in the game, just like jevil, but really neaither of them get the choice of a happy ending. we all can imagine what there happy endings chould possibly be, but they'll never get one, because if they whould, it whould've already happened.

Oh, your song about Spamton is my new favorite Spamton song. The feeling of the song is similar to the feeling of GHOST and VocaCircus who make the vocaloid song as a whole, and I like it very much (my favorite part is 1:22 ~ 1:35 2:40 ~ 3:04 0:56, 2:14)
Also, as mentioned on Parker Hansen's comment, I also agree that the lyrics, "HOW? HOW CAN YOU BE A [[BIG SHOT]] LIKE ME????" I love that this lyrics have a double meaning of either how Kris can become a big shot like himself when Spamton didn't become a NEO, or when he becomes NEO whether Kris can be equal to him.
