@@trishthedishluna no one’s responded to you yet so basically this is a song based on the game Cult of the Lamb where you play as a lamb who makes a cult for a being called He Who Waits in return for being resurrected. Gameplay wise it’s like if Animal Crossing meets a dungeon crawler but instead of making a town you’re making a cult. It’s not a horror game though, the video actually shows how the main character looks and the art style is very cute. The lore is a little dark though (but the game is about a cult so that’s not surprising).
I still remember a few years ago, my teacher was playing this in class because it was in a "Halloween playlist" and due to me knowing the origin of the song, I thought it was even better.
It would be cool if In the second or third chorus (the repeating or catchy part of the song) instead of “If a god is meant for worship then a lamb is meant to die” it would be switched to “If a lamb is meant for worship then a god is meant to die” because once the lamb starts being worshipped by their followers the gods (aka bishops) die in the game
If i had an animal every time a game is made where the main character was called a vessel and had all of the rest of their kind killed off because of a prophecy, i would have a bug and a sheep.
So I love it compared to others, but... I have a genuine complaint. The intro was amazing, and it feels like the rest of the song doesn't touch on that style again. It was melodic, clever and beautiful and I really wanted to hear more like it.
