Just picked one up with an 8 ah batter and charger for 229 from Lowe’s. I downsized from a 12 inch corded metabo hpt. I am loving the size and power. I do wish it came with a shadow line but I only use it for diy work so taking the extra time to really line up my cuts is t a big deal. I love the convenience of cordless and rarely needed the 12inch cut capacity.
@@TeamDIYNowdo you feel like the vacuum really makes much of a difference on dust collection? I work outside so it isn’t such a big deal but could help with cleanup if it makes a substantial difference
I have this saw and its a solid product. The one thing it is missing is the ability to set the depth of cut. I had the Craftsman version and it had depth stop.
Damn i almost pulled the trigger @260 but hesitated because there was only one review on yt(some finish carpenter) of course im seeing your vid now after the sale is over lol what luck.
I have similar luck...I bought mine for $290 about a month ago before Amazon ran that sale last week for $260. Keep an eye on it this week, it may go back down to $260 for some July 4th sales or Amazon Prime Day coming up. Even at the $290 it's a good deal in my opinion as the regular price is $319 (Dewalt equivalent is $349). Good luck.
i think this saw and the milwaukee version are pretty similar. ive owned both and they seem pretty much the same when it comes to power and weight. the only real issues i have with this saw are the single bevel and the awful LED light it has. i really dont see what the point of it is. it doesnt cast a shadow line and it hardly lights up the work area
I have only had mine for about 6 months but so far it has held up great. Which plastic pieces broke? Not sure if you have any authorized repair places close, if so they are typically a lot easier to get warranty work done.
@@TeamDIYNowpretty much all the dust chute parts the piece behind the blade. I can still use it but can’t hook up a bag or a vacuum. Nearest place is 2 hours away. I can order parts but it’s annoying. Only had it for like 6 months

Thats a good deal! Yea I agree this little saw is a beast...these battery power miter saws have come a long way in the last few years!

Yea you make a good point as the depth stop is handy during certain applications.

Yea I agree the light isn't anything special as it's in a bad spot. Other than that, I have been pretty impressed with this saw!
Wow
Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching.
I have the 10” version. Sadly multiple plastic pieces have broken and Bosch is no help. I like the saw but durability is questionable.

Yea you're right, with that said I was trying to make sure I was able to get the best view of the saw operating for the video.

@@philodox7599 No worries, I completely understand. You can never be too cautious when working with power tools!
A shadow line and depth of cut makes this a deal breaker for me. Good review though .
