My ZPAPM70 is without doubt my favourite firearm. It's such a nice piece, and the chrome-lining may not be Yugo milspec but I'm a sucker for it lol Also the convenience of the dust cover lock is NICE, and the extended hand guard is very handy
With the Zastava, if you have a round in the chamber and the selector on safe, you can eject the round without taking it out of safe. The zastava reviver is also 50% thicker. The Tula parts kit has a bayonet lug.
It’s more of a public range thing,, I just went to one the other day and the Range officer definitely checked to see if the bolts where open on everyone before we could check our targets …
any genuine Russian parts kit built rifle will hold its value best. zastavas are great rifles for the most part but the Tula (or Izzy) is far superior for any collector or long term value minded individual imo. thanks for sharing.
I believe Zastava rifles will appreciate in price the quality of Zastava rifles at their price point reminds me of the $800 vepr’s I mean hell the zpaps are already selling for $1400 on gunbroker for the people who don’t have time to wait and watch in stock notifications
@@TheBucketSkillthis is why you purchase low quantity high quality guns that will be collectors no matter what. If the nfa was repealed and russian firearm imports were allowed tomorrow russian aks would be selling for 200 bucks and your “collector” wouldnt even be worth 50
I love the Zastava and have a Serbian Red wood with folding stock version myself. Personally I would never trust anything built by J.R.A. I have had too many bad experiences with them.
Zastava actually added the bulged trunnion to the M70 to launch rifle grenades! The older PAP versions actually came with the grenade sights and gas cutoff installed, as well, but they removed it in the ZPAPs.
Big difference u missed is weight. If it were shtf I'd choose an AKM style over yugo for the massive weight difference, and I'd prefer no rail because I'm not going to carry around a hefty chuck of steel to mount an optic. Akm with iron sights and circle 10 mags for weight savings but still strong and proven mags.
Well good luck finding one without some kind of American part now a days,, even the ones shipped in have to come without a bayonet lug on the gas block, so right then and there u get an American part slapped on…
The best part of a Yugoslavia AK is that it is unmistakable with its iconic hand guards and grenade sights if it has them and the locking dustcover.
I have a James River Armory Izhevsk 1968 with all matching numbers and the Zastava Serbian Red ZPAP M70. Both are great rifles.
Which (if you had to give up one) would you choose to keep based souly on performance and reliability
@@MisteryPlanet7247i I would keep the Zastava M70 ZPAP. In my opinion, the Serbs make the best rifle out there.
Recently bought a zastava m70 I’m in love.

The Zastava selector bolt hold open is great if you're shooting on a public range that requires bolts to be locked back/open during cease fires.
Hey, fellow Warren Zevon fan over here!
Don’t forget the Zastava has a 1.5mm receiver.

I guess I am old school. I love iron sights and I don't care for a force multiplier. Love the platform
Chrome lined barrels are for the corrosive rounds .

@@GrantsDad Perhaps, but a Soviet AK is a collector's item imo. You hardly ever come across them considering how many AK's exist in the world.

How does this man not have way more subscribers?
I have a M70 M77 M90
Real SHTF TOOLS. They’re so great
I love the Zastava and have a Serbian Red wood with folding stock version myself. Personally I would never trust anything built by J.R.A. I have had too many bad experiences with them.
This is M70 ab2
Bolts are in the white not chromed on Zastavas
Do more AK videos
Bulged reunion is for full automatic mainly. But cool feature and thicker receiver. I wish all aks came with bulged trunion

Doesn't weight help Control Recoil?
This was a good video thanks 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Excellent video!
I would choose zastava,its cute
Also 1.5 mm thickness of the receiver
certain zastava models also have adjustable gas
Tula هي الأفضل 💪
I wouldn't want no American parts on my ak47

Both real gun 👌
It's in "nip that in the bud" not "bit that in the butt" 😅
Good video, but the Russian AK is superior
Da
Russia is the best
Can the M70 Hand guard fit onto the AK?
No, all Yugo/Serb furniture is proprietary.
Hey bro it's not Chrome it's in the raw or in the white!
What’s a force multiplier?
Optic
Hello bro i need one please tell how to get
Nice rifles
Where did you get the sling from ? What Kind is it ?
I got it off of ClassicFirearms , Its a cold war era sling from the USSR thats all I know.
Nice weapon
Russian gun the best
The Russian rife has better looking hand guard and stock
other aks also have side rails. 😂 original is always better than the copy. and most yugos dont have chrome lining.
All M70 Yugos after 2020 have chrome lining
It's Yugoslavian, not serbian, GET IT RIGHT FOR ONCE SMH!!
It’s Yugoslavian design.. Serbian built…
He chose poorly
M70 has nothing to do with american market or fitures, kurčino
that isnt even ZAPAP, its ZR due of the sholder holder
