- This video is about hiking to my favorite waterfall in Southern California, Black Star Falls. It is a 6 mile round trip hike, hiking the first 2 miles on a flat fire road and the last mile hiking up a creek. Allow yourself about 4 to 5 hours to do this hike depending on how fast you hike and how much time you plan on spending at the waterfall. #hiking#travel#howto • Hikes in USA Hiking Black Star Canyon waterfall in 2020,

Thank you so much for watching my channel, now is the best time to visit this waterfall because of all the rain we have had, I think I will visit this waterfall soon.

Be careful parking your vehicle at the trailhead. Keep all valuables out of site and lock the vehicle. A lot of vehicles get broken into there.
Thanks for the tip!
I was there yesterday
thank you for watching and commenting.
Are there climbs where it involves your arms and shoulder because I have a bad shoulder
There is that one BIG rock where you may have to lift yourself up to get over it, unless someone helps you get over the rock. Thank you for watching and commenting.
@@NeverLostRoamer a lot of bruises but I made it back! I also went under the waterfall and am afraid there were amoebas, do you know if I’m okay.
@@InJesusName3783 Congrats, on doing it, You will be fine, you have nothing to worry about. thanks for the update.
Which part of the hike would you say has the most salamanders and is easier to get to? Can u still find salamanders in the summer?
The salamaders hang out in the creek, so when there is a lot of water usually when the waterfall has water, you have a better chance to see them.
@@NeverLostRoamer thanks for the response!
