Located on the western edge of Death Valley National Park, Darwin Falls seems like a waterfall out of place. The landscape all around is barren and stark, yet a perennial waterfall flows through the canyon. The hike starts in a dry wash but ends in a lush narrow canyon surrounded by creek-side greenery and punctuated with the waterfall. If you like pleasant surprises on your hikes, this is the place to be!
