Being available to participate in your child's life is super important. I cannot believe anyone will ever hold that against you! I will be waiting for the next available time slot you have, no problem
Dads gotta do dad things, Kevin. Our children are the priority. Most dads will understand. If they don't, well, that's their problem. Keep up the good work!
Priorities come first and you are on top of that brother. No matter what, we're behind you to support you how ever we can. You just keep on doing what's right.
No worries Kevin!! Do what you can, when you can!! I totally get being a divorced dad...DAD JOB #1! Would love to see the racing footage, when you can edit it all. Sometimes things happen out of our control, it sucks, but it happens!! Keep doing what you can!! Thanks for keeping ug up to date!!
Sunday and what day is that……….KSR and Kevin day for the CUTLOOSE build……. Wait a minute this is my Sunday is it Kevin’s Sunday……..🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Dad, shop owner, crew chief, TH-cam thats a metric crap ton of stuff to juggle. Appreciate the update video!! Would love to watch the road race stuff when you get time. Keep at it Kevin. Do what you can, be a dad first, kids are priority #1. Your killing it and it puts a smile on my face when you drip a vid. Thank you Kevin.
Your kids come first. We hauled our daughter many miles during her competition cheer years. Now we have grandkids playing sports and our daughter's daughter is a freshman on the high school dance team. More running the roads. Keep up the good work.
I love the Viper videos, would love a video detailing the preparations required to head to a race weekend, what you do going over the car after the race and when you get back from a race weekend.
Be a dad first. Remember there is only a first once in your kids life. Be there for as many of them as you can. Never forget to share with the mother regardless of the condition of the relationship between the two of you. Keep,up the videos and if you need to skip a cutlass video for a race video to catch up with life so be it. And as always any information you can share is appreciated. Tech officials willing to talk on camera are a bonus for the race community as it helps bring awareness to those on the fence helping them to see the benefits.
Adulting sucks! But kids always come first! Appreciate the content that you put out and enjoy all of it. Don't stress yourself out more then necessary.
Your week sounds like a week we all have experienced--more than once. My week was the same--glad I got to work on my car. Thanks for all the videos--when you get the chance.
Nothing better than waking up on Monday morning to start the week with a KSR video. As a single dad to two boys (now young men) they were always my priority, time with your girls is something you can never get back and they will always remember it. Looking forward to seeing the race videos, love Lees Viper and race footage.
Kevin: Let me tell you a story, Oh look a squirrel!! 😂 I was a single dad when my daughters were 11 and 14. You'll look back and be glad you had good memories with them of these days.
Kevin we understand family and other commitments can get in the way. Just glad to see your making progress on the cutlass after so long. Also it's become my Sunday morning routine to wake up, make breakfast, and watch thr cutlass videos and wanted to say thank you for that.
Wow Kevin my head is spinning after this video. Crazy with all the flight debacles. You're a great Dad and a great businessman, in that order. Family first and the business next.
Doing well Kev. Me too, single Dad. Daughter is now learning to drive. Priority family. They'll thank you when it's time. My project hasn't started yet.
Kevin, for what its worth, I enjoy the fabrication/build videos a lot more than the race road race videos. I'd rather see more cutlass, drag racing, or dyno/tuning videos. The road race stuff is cool, and Im sure its a blast to do, but I tend to skip those videos. I did enjoy learning about the work that goes into the Vipers and how those cars are different from drag cars. I also like that you are trying to keep up with weekly updates, I know it has to be difficult when life is that busy. Thanks for all the content.
Man I can totally relate to the business.. keep it up Kevin! Thank you for still taking the time out of your crazy scheduled to make us videos! I always have to remember with my project's, any progress big or small is still progress!
Kevin, Kids Come First! My children are presently 44, 42 and 37.they’ve all been married for 20 plus years. Their kids are 13,14,16,22 and 26. And all are A plus students of their initiative. Oh, and the 26 year old had her masters at 18 and is now a regional manager for a tool company. Your children are an investment and we did everything with them and for them. Am I a proud Papa? Definitely ! Do whatever you can with them. At 69 I’m still involved as much as my health will let me (arthritis, I played to hard in my youth)
Sounds like you've been burning the candle at both ends! Family comes first, and you always have that priority straight! You look tired, get some rest and we will be here waiting. Can't wait to see Val's chassis in powder coat!
Dad's gotta do dad things. Don't let anyone hold it against you. I tried my damnist to do as much as I could when my son was younger to be apart of everything he did regardless of the inconvenience of others and work. Being a divorced father myself I get it. Family is always first no matter what.
Stay up playa! It all builds character 😅 Thrive hard while you're young. It makes for tremendous and righteous respect and recognition down the road. Y'all need a corporate jet 😂
Most parents would not do what you do. They would let their children be without them to do their own thing they could care less about children. So many dead beat parents out there. You care about your children as well as customers and employees and it takes a lot. Congratulations Sir not many would do what you do.
Many of us have been there. My 1st ex was under court order to not move more than 100 miles away... so she moved 99 miles away... If your ex at least tries to work with you, be thankful. No one should fault you for doing right by your kids, even if you come up short sometimes. Keep waving that 🏁✌😎
Glad your over busy. Glad your daughters apart of your life Got news August 1 I will be getting on transplant plant list. 19 years cancer 7 plus fir dialysis just like racing never give up. God speed no excuses your a divorce dad I been divorced 18 years my ex made sure she made it hard with my kids. But it's hard on children so Glad things are good been 18 years since I seen them. Now adults
Thanks for putting the kids first, your true character is showing! Been patiently waiting for road race video's... Sucks dealing with the airlines any more, glad I retired and don't have to deal with the #%$% airlines...
Hey, at least a tree didn't fall on your truck. No, I'm not kidding!! About three hours ago a damn tree fell onto my truck while parked in the driveway!!
A big hell yes on the viper video's im a circuit racing man at heart but also love drag - drag and drive aswell with a bit of dirt action on the side😂😂😂
Hey Kevin, we understand that life happens so no worries you didn’t get any progress done on the Cutlass. Family is first and that’s what’s important. I’ll be here to watch next week’s video!
Hey bud you have to make money in order to spend it so do what you got to do we will still be here!!!! And dude your kids should always come first your a good man for that and a better dad!
Air-Flight is for the birds. 😆. Glad you got back. Have heard about many instances where folks opt. for ground transportation, when air flight plans / schedules change.
All good man...we're still here to support you and we only have 1 half the time and to drive 30 minutes is like alot...about like taking him to school every day we have him I couldn't imagine going 2 places 30 minutes apart and coming back to work in the middle of the night
Well it sounds like you have plenty of free time for editing the race videos! I'm sure plenty of us will watch them when you get time to edit them and post. Keep your head up. Remember a little bit of progress is still progress!!!!!!
Ahhh hell Kevin! Your priorities are straight! You are juggling a shop, full time father, and helping your buddies out with their racing programs. Sucks yea that you dedicated a bunch of time videoing a race but if you dont have the time to edit and put it up i am sure 99% of the people watching wont mind, in fact im sure we would rather not see you get burnt out or worry about putting out the content. Even this 15 minute update video you couldve just put out a quick "short" and said "see ya next week" and we would all understand. Lots of us behind you routing for ya sir! Keep.up the great work!🤟🤟🤟🤟
Give us the videos as you can, you have a business and a life. I enjoy the Cutlass videos, I've owned a few of those in my life. Maybe will again some day. The race videos are very interesting, its' something I don't get to see too often. Thanks for all the great content, and all the best to you and your team, and your family too.
Thank you sir! stuff happens and all we can do is keep moving forward and not get hung up on what we can’t control. You do a pretty good job of managing all the distractions and speed bumps. Looking forward to what happens next!
You own a business and you have children. Cars sometimes have to take a back seat to everything else. Love the content and I can definitely relate to life getting in the way.
i was at road america this weekend. got to meet lee and eddy! please tell eddy that the guy in the bucket hat and white hoodie apologizes for not recognizing him at first. i felt bad. eddy was cool and still gave me an autograph lol!!
I feel your pain about the flights Kevin. I am 68, now retired but used to fly for work several times per year. I like flying overall but US commercial airlines have gotten worse and worse over the years. Previously Included services have been taken away (luggage, food and beverage, movies) while service has gotten progressively worse. It has become norm for flights to be delayed or cancelled as you experienced. It greatly concerns me how many flights are delayed/cancelled due to maintenance issues (vs weather). This used to be a pretty rare thing. It seems pretty clear to me as a consumer that airlines are skimping on regular maintenance which does not exactly invoke confidence. Combine this with all the quality issues coming out of manufacturers like Boeing and I honestly don’t miss commercial flying one bit.
Never feel bad when life gets in the way of your car build. You really could just do a throw away episodes talking about what’s next or design choices etc… I mean storytime’s fun too… but you have options when progress slows.
Feel your pain, had the same life when my son & 2 daughters were going through that in the 90's. But yes publish the Pit and Mid Ohio races. And good luck to Lee today at Road America!
Kevin, I think more of us respect the fact you put your kids first before work. Just do what you can. And keep up the videos as best as you can.
Is what it is! Kids and family come first as long as you're keeping the doors open! No apologies needed, this is life!
I believe the 4th of July is Thursday.
Awesome story time I don't always have to be about Progress on the cutlass
No problem Dad. Kids are no.1 priority. Have all the fun you can have with them!
No problem Kev, I'll be here ready to watch the next upload, and Thurs is the 4th, I'll be turning 52 on that day. Y'all take care.

As a single dad I completely understand what you mean. But they know dad is always there.
Dad, shop owner, crew chief, TH-cam thats a metric crap ton of stuff to juggle. Appreciate the update video!! Would love to watch the road race stuff when you get time. Keep at it Kevin. Don't kick yourself too much about the lack of cutlass progress. i believe i can say with some confidence, we all understand your busy. it happens.

Excellent video as always! Yup....do the Dad thing it's always the MOST important thing you'll ever do.
Doing well Kev. Me too, single Dad. Daughter is now learning to drive. Priority family. They'll thank you when it's time. My project hasn't started yet.

Yes, please, for the Trans-Am videos! I went on the TA website to see the results, but want to see the visuals. So much better that way….
Sounds like a crazy week. Enjoy Independence Day.
Trans am videos were always my favorite

Kevin will be out poppin firecrackers the day before 😎
Being a "Dad" should come first. Money helps, but family is first.
Busy. Busy. But! No fail. Regards, Stephen.
Daddin' is way more important. We'll be here. ❤️🇺🇲
Think we all expected week of no progress as life is busy. Though you DID give us a video, so THANK YOU!!!
Good stuff and thanks...🔧🔧👍
Take a break, brother. Enjoy your family. Everything will still be there when you get back.
Life gets in the way. You are not alone my friend. 😎
You own a business and you have children. Cars sometimes have to take a back seat to everything else. Love the content and I can definitely relate to life getting in the way.

Love the viper content! Thanks Kevin.
Sebring was a Blast! Except for the random thunderstorms.
Missed Mid-Ohio this year so I would love to see the Viper races.
