Allison, It is a blessing to have your family in the Catholic Church because this year is the year of St. Joseph in the Catholic Church. God bless your big family, St. Joseph is the head of the family and a great example of Fathers
I’m on my way to the Church. As a Jewish Believer in Yeshua I want to do my part to show my fellow Jews and Torah Observant Christians that the Truth of God is truly found in the Catholic Church.
As a protestant I could never understand why we couldn’t even acknowledge Mary. She is Jesus’s mom. I had so many questions that Protestant church answers fell short. When God lead me to check out RCIA. I first learn the Catholic Church was 2000 years old. My mind was blown. That started my journey to becoming Catholic. I had such joy that I could finally say and admit I love Mary. ❤
The catholic (universal)church was the original Church of CHRIST, but in the fourth century A D, emperor Constantine In order to consolidate the Roman Empire merged The catholic (universal)church with Roman Paganism thereby creating the Roman Catholic Church!
The whole world will soon love Mary because she is coming very soon to bring the spirit of God just like she brought the light to the world our savior jesus christ Well, she is coming now to bring to the world our true savior her son jesus in spirit in her. Remember, it's not the end of the world, but it is the end of this era, and we were the chosen generation 🙌 God will exalt his mother so who ever rejects his mother in this divine warning from God are rejecting her son jesus and unfortunately some are going to reject and follow the anthichrist the only way that Gods children will be saved is through Mary because God will show us the whole truth and this brings me to genesis chapter 3,15 were are facing the battle between our mother against Satan and his followers 🙏 🔥 will come down very soon to purify our souls for the new world to come so who ever stays in the heart ❤️ of Jesus and his beloved mother will be saved and will not parish and will be able to enjoy the new heaves here on earth there will be no more death, no more dicieses no more wars etc. Finally, the kingdom of God will be established here, and finally and all who follow the anthichrist will be thrown into the lake of fire with Satan and with all of the fallen angels, saint Michael the archangel with Raphael and Gabriel are protecting the children of God for this battle which no other generation experienced before and by the way I fell so bad for our brothers Protestants because they belive in the rapture well I have bad news for them there will be no rapture but a huge tribulations and the only rapture that will have is the only ones who consecrated to the immaculate ❤of Mary and the sacrade ❤ of jesus these are the only two pillars for our salvation there is no other way but our mother of mercy will come to bring the mercy of God for this lost generation who are bar far away from the grace of God, thanks be to God 🙏 for giving us his beloved mother to bring mercy to all of her children because God would come as a judge right now like our Protestants brothers they think who in this 🌎 would be saved? Well I'm sure probably 5% because the world is in darkness in mortal sin etc. But she is coming it's mother Mary so if you hear a prophet saying that our lord is coming but it doesn't say that his mother she is coming first don't listen to them because they're false prophets but if they mention that our mother she is coming with her son with Michael,Raphael and Gabriel yes this prophet is real, may God bless you and welcome to the fathers house and don't forget stay with Peter our beloved Pope Francis because there is another message from our lord Jesus that talks about our beloved pope Francis and Jesus says that who ever is against Peter ( pope Francis) his agisbt me you do not belong in my kingdom you belong with lucifer who is trying so hard to manipulate minds of many to go against pope Francis with false claims pope Francis his being like a lamb ready to be slaid for his church he is the bishop in white that our mother prophesied in Fatima portugal but it's OK she is coming be vigilant and just consecrate your family to our mother and she wil send out her angels to protect us ❤😊🙏
@@savedbygrace8337that is not true…. Research your history… If a emperor would’ve founded the Catholic Church, he would’ve named it “the constantins” or something of that nature…… knowing how emperor were with their egos
Wow!!!! Welcome home!!!!!! Much love. Please, preach the faith to the former members of your congregation. It's good they too become aware of the truth.
I lived with closed eyes, having a long time friend (20+ yrs) as a permanent Deacon trying to convert me, all to no avail. Then our Lord converted my heart over even more time. When I told my friend, he almost fell off his office chair! Our Lord amazes me: I love Him more than I thought possible.. now this old 🇨🇦 Anglican has a new Blessed Mother! Who woulda thought!!
Hope you got a deeper conversion over the last two years! That CAN be you; the person with knowledge and zeal for the Catholic faith! I was in the same situation. Born and raised Catholic, but somewhere along the way became lukewarm. Having gone to public high school, I envied my Muslim friends because their dedication to their faith was astounding. I envied my protestant friends because of how passionate they are about their faith. I had a spiritual dryness that prevented me from believing and feeling Christ; basically was an atheist (altho I was in denial about calling myself that). It took me years after university before I got that the burning love for God, but before I felt His grace, I had to ask Him to reveal himself to me. I reached a point where I said I surrender everything to Him. I’d suggest first to ask God to keep your heart open to Him. Slowly start practicing (attending weekly mass, if you don’t already). Start praying the rosary daily to have a relationship with Him and have Mary intercede for you. Go back to confession as soon as possible, no matter how long it has been and no matter how grave you think your sins are. You’ll probably even have to confess sins that you DON’T believe are/should be sins. But they are, so do it anyway. Our secular society has allowed us to ignore our damnation to justify not following the Ten Commandments. Once you’ve confessed and know God has forgiven you, that’s when the holy spirit can really enter your heart and hopefully you’ll have a genuine, deep conversion to the point that you start living your life as a true Catholic and radiate love. 😊🙏🏻 Tbh I’m not sure I ended up typing my (deeper) conversion story. 😂 hope it speaks to someone.
I feel you...I'm a recent convert after 40 years of being a Protestant, around a decade of which was in formal ministry. I can truly say: do NOT envy us, as our burdens, challenges, and regrets can be many. Rather, try to encourage new converts in their completely new LIFE (including identity). Some of our zeal and freshness will undoubtedly infect you.
I'm a cradle Catholic and I am proudly a "convert" of converts.. The converts showed me the way, the truth and the Life by what they saw and gave up to be Catholic.. Awe-full!
2 hours? I got lucky with my very Lutheran dad. It was only 2 weeks. And then he stared asking questions from an intellectual point. And less than 12 hours before he died, someone brought a rosary, pamphlet, and prayer blanket. He prayed the rosary with my sister (not Catholic either) went to bed and they found him wearing the rosary. His last acto faith as a Lutheran was praying the Rosary.
I would haved loved to had a mentor in my past Catholic life there is so much to haved made me stronger faithful servant of OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST AND MOTHER MARY BUT MY DESIRE IS TO BE MORE CLOSER IN MY WALK BY THE WAY I AM A WIDOW WE SERVE A LIVING GOD
When I converted I told my mom that it was because of what she taught me not despite what she taught me that I wanted to know the Lord in a deeper way . I thank God for my faithful protestant mother!
My same experience. I’m so grateful for my Protestant upbringing and hope that I can bring those benefits into the lives of my now “cradle Catholic” children
I became a Catholic far later in life than I wanted to because I was raised in a non religious Protestant anti Catholic family. I adored my parents, I grew up in the Anglican Cathedral Choir. I was going to wait until my parents were in Heaven, but I couldn't and finally after being director of music and choir master at a Catholic Church, I made the plunge in my 40s I had wanted to do since I was 13 and became a Catholic. At first my parents were furious, but finally we could talk again. The love of my parents never died and I have never regretted my decision. I now even have my own Ministry, Catholic Ministry Online.
19:25 My mom was pretty hurt by my conversion, feeling as if she’d done something wrong for me to “turn my back” on the faith in which she’d raised me. We couldn’t really talk about it much the first couple years; better to avoid the topic altogether, which was hard for me because I was so on fire. However, a couple years later, we had a long talk, sitting in Denny’s, in which I explained that I didn’t feel like I’d turned my back on anything but gone deeper in the same direction. I told her how grateful I was for my Christian upbringing. She’d taught me to love Jesus. I now loved Him even more. She’d taught me the importance of following Him wherever He leads, even when it’s uncomfortable. That’s what I was trying to do. True, there were a couple beliefs I’d changed my mind on, but mostly I’d retained and added to them. It was as if our Christian faith was a ball, with Baptism, the Bible, love for Jesus, etc., in it, and I’d come to believe that the ball was much bigger than I’d thought. She thanked me afterward and the forest that had sprung up between us was lowered to a small hedge. 23 years later it’s trimmed pretty close to the ground but shoots up every so often. I knew we were gonna be ok when she cracked a joke about my Catholic faith. It was a very good sign, because for a long time it was no laughing matter.
I was raised evangelical during the fifties and converted to the Roman Catholic Church a decade before Scott. But I converted to Catholic theology as an Episcopalian more than a decade before that. It was not a struggle or difficulty for me however. It was entrance into historical Christianity and it’s absolute beauty. After the episcopal church left biblical faith in 1976 I struggled and finally joined with Rome. Ordained a priest ten years later, I have been blessed with the fullness of the gospel of Christ. I met Scott several years ago when he visited our diocese and also when I was at the annual priests convention at Steubenville for three years. He is a clear exponent of the Catholic faith!
I was born and raised Catholic, but had an aversion to Mary because she was so goody goody, and I was hard of heart. But She saved me through Her words in Medjugorje. I converted by fasting and praying the Rosary.
The Apostle Paul wrote, "Whoever calls upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved." That is, simply by asking, you can now Christ, be born again, made new by the Holy Spirit. In fact, referring to the Holy Spirit, Jesus said, "Whoever believes in Me will have rivers of living water bubbling up inside them unto eternal life." Conversely, if you are not filled with the Holy Spirit, if you do not have that river of life, neither are you saved. These are not my words, but the Lord's! Beware of Catholic teaching! Paul said that if anyone preaches a different gospel, they should be accursed. Do Catholics teach a different gospel? Do not take my word for it, read the Word of God. Again, Paul wrote, "Whoever calls upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved." You do not need Catholic ANYTHING to be saved! In fact, just by asking, you can know Christ. Jesus Christ is the light of the world.
@@kenshiloh Jesus said other words that you don't accept" take and eat of this.this is my body which will be given up for you for the forgiveness of sins" you still refuse to accept that is his body.
@@josephssewagudde8156 Hi. Concerning Christ's words, "This is My body...", Jesus often spoke in parables. For example, is Christ really a vine, a lion, or a rock? In fact, it is inconsistent with these other metaphors to claim that He is not an actual piece of bread. Conversely, if Christ always spoke literally about Himself, it would be safer to take Him literalistically. Yet, you have not answer my question: is it true that, "Whoever calls upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10.13)" or does a person need to be baptized to be saved? With one exception, no Catholic, so far, has had the respect and integrity to answer my simple question. That is, one young Catholic wrote, "No, it is not true the whoever calls upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved." Though heretical, at least she was honest! Through the Cross of Christ, we can know Christ! By the blood of Christ, we can enter into the Holy of Holies, to have communion with God! Baptism and communion are important, but knowing Christ is salvation. Jesus Christ is the light of the world.
I’m joining the Church at Easter Vigil! This video was such a gift to me thank you so much. I cried throughout this one😅 it’s such an indescribable relief to have a spiritual family... I was a spiritual orphan for so long😭🙏❤️
I started to pray the Rosary daily before I could justify it as well! And wow! I wasn't expected it but I saw so much good. Sins vanished of my life and things got in place. Its truly a powerful weapon.

I get a lot of flack for coming onto Catholic posts and, in a friendly way, challenging Catholics on what they believe. It is so difficult for me to do! Yet, the Apostle Paul said, "Whoever preaches a different gospel, let him be accursed." That means that at least one of us has a false gospel! Moreover, Jesus said that those who are condemned will go to the same place as the devil and his angels, that there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. I love Catholics and do not want them to wind up in hell. That said, I am not here to merely present the Word of God, but to listen. If I am wrong, may the Lord lead me into all truth. May the Lord lead US into all truth. Amen? That said, the Catholics I have conversed with seem to be highly intelligent, yet not one of them seems to understand the concept of 'contradiction.' For example, suppose I were to offer you $50 for mowing my lawn and you completed the job. Yet, instead of paying you, I told you that you must also wash my windows. That would be a contradiction. By comparison, the Apostle Paul wrote, "Whoever calls upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10.13)." Yet, Catholics teach that, call all you want, you will not be saved unless you are baptized. In fact, they have all kinds of Bible verses that 'demonstrate' how baptism is necessary. Yet, they will never deal with that concept of a contradiction. So which is it, beloved Catholic: whoever calls upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved or whoever calls and is baptized shall be saved? Both cannot be true. One Catholic was at least honest - though heretical! She wrote, "No, it is not true that whoever calls upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved." Frankly, I have more faith that she will eventually arrive at the truth over the Catholics who are so dishonest. For example, one said that to 'call' is the same as being baptized, so I gave an analogy, "I thought of an old friend, so I thought I would give him a baptism (i.e. call)." How about, "I tried to get ahold of you last night, but I guess you missed my baptism (i.e. call)." No, the Bible means what it says: if you call upon the Name of the Lord, you shall be saved. That is, Catholics simply misinterpret verses that, supposedly, claim the necessity of baptism for salvation - either that, or the Bible is contradictory. If so, should I believe the verse that you share or verses like Romans 10.13? Eternity is speeding at us all, like a Mack truck. Where will you be? Do you know Christ? You can know Him - just by calling on the Name of the Lord! Jesus Christ is the light of the world.
@@kenshiloh I do not understand what you are on about. If you think Catholics do not call on Jesus and do not know that He is the truth & the way & the life, then you're choosing to be blind. You can not understand Catholic dogma, doctrine, or history in isolation from each other. Your own beliefs seem to be based in "sola scriptura" but there are many reason to see that is not historic and not even scriptural. The earliest Christians knew Christ left us the church, the apostolic churches. That church assembled the Bible. When Luther & the reformers changed the Bible they used ideas from the diaspora of people who rejected Jesus. They reject books that have an impact on Catholic dogma and doctrine. We know now more about the divisions in the Jewish world from the Hellenic culture dominating the area to the destruction of the temple and the diaspora. We know the rabbinical tradition that developed after that was not the whole of that population, so to put trust in their scriptures or their interpretation over the church founded by Christ seems risky. I say risky because we should all worry about our souls. Just as the earliest Christians, we want to say "Credo!" (I believe!) as we die. But dying is easy. We have to live the faith fully. Can you go it alone? Can you look at the syllabus, see what the reading list on it is, read most of it but ignore some, and say "see you at finals!"? Maybe. But to understand Catholicism you have to understand the heresies and attacks on the Church, understand the history of the early church and what was believed and how that grew and clarified itself over time. You mention "contradiction", but I offer in response to what you call contradictions "nitpicking" or to the sliver you see I suggest the timber in your eye. You might point to problems in the Church, I'll remind you the Church had its first betrayer while the Word that was made flesh still walked among us. Look at the SSPX series The Crisis In The Church on their channel. Lay Catholics do not have to have the answers you seek. We want to die saying "Credo". You should know that, unless you don't really want answers.
@@loulasher Hi. Thanks for writing. By the grace of God, I am genuinely after the truth. You reject sola Scriptura and I actually do not have a problem with adding traditions to the Bible. Where I would like you to instruct me is what I should do when the teaching of the Catholic church directly contradicts the words of Christ. For example, Jesus said, "My Father will give the Holy Spirit to whoever asks of Him (Luke 11.13)." Now, are saying the words of Christ are true or do I need to be baptized to receive the Holy Spirit? Paul wrote, "Whoever calls upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10.13)." First, please note the unity between Paul and Christ of the 'ask and you shall receive' purity of the gospel. Next, who do you recommend I believe: That is, the Catholic church says that you cannot be saved without baptism or should I believe Paul who said that anyone who asks shall receive? I am a disciple of Christ. He said, "My sheep know My voice and do not follow another." I do not know what the Catholic church used to be. Perhaps 1700 years ago, they actually taught the Word of God. Now, they contradict Christ, teaching the traditions of men over the teachings of Christ. What makes the Catholics immune to the same perversions that plagued the pharisees of Christ's day? In fact, are they not just like the pharisees, with their outward show and ritual? Yet, Jesus said, "This is eternal life, that you now God and Jesus Christ Whom He has sent." Salvation is simply knowing Christ and you meet Him just by asking! Moreover, those who know Christ obey Him and they endure to the end - otherwise they never knew Christ, otherwise they never called upon the Name of the Lord, otherwise they never received the Holy Spirit as they did not truly ask of the Father. I hope that you get to know Christ! Jesus Christ is the light of the world.
@@kenshiloh Ken you are being disingenuous. I already pointed out your error in trolling lay Catholics to spoon feed for you. It's not my job to clarify anything to you. Go to a preist ot Catholic theologian. I'm not instructing you. I'm not qualified to give you RCIA. You take scraps of Biblical verses and wave them around like slogans as if the communities who first used them did not seek instruction and guidance from the church first and referred to scripture second if at all (literacy rates being one reason). If you really want answers you'd seek a Catholic preist or theologian. But you're trolling you tube comments. You're disingenuous. If salvation is as simple as you claim, then why do other verses contradict you claim? You're disingenuous. I hope you humble yourself and listen to a preist or theologian answer you. Oh my goodness, I'm like a week late. Being a Protestant convert myself, I really relate and love that Dr Scott Hahn mentioned about our conversion NOT being a conversion in the sense of switching religion just as St Paul, but for some reasons, people keep treating me like a convert from another religion, maybe because here in Malaysia, Protestants switching to Catholicism are actually quite rare, more Buddhists and Hindus convert to Catholicism. And I love that Dr Scott Hahn mentioning that after decades, he still spots an Evangelical "accent", this shows that our identity has been somehow marked by our Protestant past as much as a Jew becoming a Catholic being still Jew and in fact more Jewish, and for us, more Protestant than we ever were. Being a Hebrew lover makes it even worse, I'm discovering more Jewish vibes in Catholicism than in Protestantism. Ironically, the year Dr Hahn become Catholic was the year I was born. I really enter Dr Hahn's story, and I hope more people hear about him. God bless you sir Nester and Dr Hahn.
Welcome home! I'm catholic from sarawak. Where u from? Yeah it's actually rare in malaysia that protestants convert to catholicism, it's more to the other way round. I agree that catholics are more reserved and quiet, so when you attend mass, most people would just keep to themselves, aren't as friendly. I can tell you that they themselves won't know you're a convert! Catholicism has kept its tradition since the early church fathers, of course we keep the Jewish culture in it. Do bear in mind that christianity was born with Jesus as the fulfillment of the scriptures that He is the messiah for the Jewish people. Jewish christians at that time worship God in synagogues before completely separating from them in later century. One notable thing happened when during Council of Jerusalem, St Paul argued to not impose circumcision on us gentiles, as it was the Jewish custom at that time (Acts).
Hi. I am not a Catholic, but it seems that Catholics believe that baptism and communion are necessary for salvation. Moreover, that a person cannot know if God is pleased with them until the stand before Him on that Day. Is this true? My concern is that the Apostle Paul wrote, "Whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Yet, Catholics seem to believe, "Whoever calls upon the name of the Lord, is baptized, and partakes of Catholic communion MIGHT be saved." Is this not a different gospel? If it is, then in all love and respect, I urge you to heed Paul's warning, "Whoever preaches a different gospel, let him be accursed." By way of contrast, I called upon the name of the Lord and all heaven filled my soul. I was instantly saved and forever. As it is written, "We are seated in the heavenlies with Christ." Furthermore, as Jesus said every believer would have, I have rivers of living water bubbling up inside unto eternal life. Moreover, the Holy Spirit bears witness that I am saved (Romans 8.16). In fact, I can honestly say that, for 44 years, I have not even had a second of doubt that I know the Lord and am bound for heaven - not even for a second! I hope that you will obey the Lord and not follow anything that is contrary to the Bible, God's Word. I hope that you will have a genuine, saving encounter with Christ. Jesus Christ is the light of the world.

@@humphreyobanor866 Hi. First, 1,700 years ago, perhaps the Catholic church was on fire for Christ, having endured great persecution; we see all the time how suffering can purify the soul. Yet, is the Catholic church infallible? Is every Catholic leader genuinely of God? Is every thought and action of the church in line with the Bible? Moreover, not one of those who compiled the Scriptures are still with us! Those folks have been gone for centuries now! That said, if the actual people who compiled Scripture were found to be apostate, that would not make sense. Yet, Catholics have nothing to do with those who compiled the Bible. In fact, Catholics now teach a different gospel. Before Christ was born, Israel was continually go astray, bowing before their statues. Now, after the resurrection, are you saying that the Catholic church is any different than the idol-loving Jews of Christ's day? Moreover, I noticed - and please, no offense - that Catholics will totally ignore the Bible verses that I present, saying, "How could we be incorrect?" If you were I, would it not seem rather evasive, like dodging the question? I am not angry about it; I am concerned about your eternal well-being! For example, Paul wrote, "Whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10.13)" and Jesus said, "My Father will give the Holy Spirit to whoever asks of Him (Luke 11.13)." Is it not clear from the Bible that, just by asking, you can know Christ, be born again, made into a new creation, be born into the family of God, born again? It is the glorious simplicity of the gospel. Yet, to the Catholic, it is all too simple. Can you not see the contradiction? I hope that you will get to know Christ - just by asking! Jesus Christ is the light of the world.
Doctor Scott Hahn!!! We feel so blessed, thank you for your life and conversion story!!!!😭😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ You have brought a lot of cradle Catholics back to the faith :') thank you for reminding me the treasure we have through the Eucharist and Catholicism in general ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😭😭😭
Believers are ALREADY INDWELT with the Holy Spirit. I don't understand the need for" literal presence/transubstantition'' if HE ALREADY ABIDES in us !? 🤔 Very confusing and conflicting
Hi. I am not a Catholic, but it seems that Catholics believe that baptism and communion are necessary for salvation. Moreover, that a person cannot know if God is pleased with them until the stand before Him on that Day. Is this true? My concern is that the Apostle Paul wrote, "Whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." If it is, then in all love and respect, I urge you to heed Paul's warning, "Whoever preaches a different gospel, let him be accursed." By way of contrast, I called upon the name of the Lord and all heaven filled my soul.

I am a cradle catholic, and listening to you guys (all you converts) is a re-discovering process for me, enlightening even.. I hope more cradle Catholics like me who take the faith like a "normal" everyday thing, listen to you and to other converts.. There are so many channels hosted by converts.. Thank you so much to you guys and to the things you are doing to draw more people to the true faith..
You should both envy me! No, not really. I’m not even a tiny bit as holy as you two are. But as a child being raised Protestant, at age seven I saw a small statue of Mary that belonged to my best friend who was making her First Holy Communion that week, and I instantly knew that I wanted Mary to be my Mother and that I had to be a Catholic like my friend. But it wasn’t simply wanting to copy Debbie; it was that statue of the Blessed Virgin that converted me when I didn’t know anything about Church history, the liturgy, Mariology, etc. Thank you, sweet Motherl I love You and Your Holy Son.
You guys are like my spiritual mentor bookends! One like a spiritual big brother and the other like a spiritual father. I praise God for the work He’s done in my life through you two gentlemen. I would not be the Catholic woman I am today without you! Thank you for your willingness and obedience to trudge through deep waters to lead others home!! God bless you both!

@@kenshiloh Of course Jesus is the Light of the World. But let me ask you the following: What did Jesus mean in "John 20 :22 Then he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. 23 If you forgive people's sins, they are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven.” ,,, Who was Jesus giving that authority/ power to forgive and retain sins? Was to to everyone in that room? Who has that authority today? In John 6 53 - So Jesus said to them, “Very truly, I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. 54 Those who eat my flesh and drink my blood have eternal life, and I will raise them up on the last day; 55 for my flesh is true food and my blood is true drink. ...........So the question is did Jesus really meant His Body and Blood which he said repeatedly and repeatedly. Many of His disciples walked away after that. Why did they?
As a youngster, I was an Episcopalian in a neighborhood that covered alot of different faiths. We went to Bible school in the summer of other religions. All except Catholic. The neiborhood girl my age that was Catholic couldn't go to protestant churches. And she never invited another to come to her church. This made a big mystery - no pun intended- of what the Catholic church is. I envisioned if I went into her church I'd be chased out because I wasn't a Catholic. Children can be a big influence on their friends without intending to be. As an adult I converted to Catholicism and discovered what I'd missed all my life up to then.
Many thanks to you our brothers and sisters coming from other denominations. It's a fresh wind of the Holy Spirit blowing over the Church. Thank you for listening to the call for unity. I really appreciate you all.
My Uncle gave me your Book "Rome Sweet Home".. As a Catholic, it makes me realized more why I stayed Catholic and understand more the importance of Mass, Mama Mary and the Sacraments.
I first heard Scott in EWTN, I think in 1987. I was so happy for him. I like his story when he said, how he began to go to mass & pray the Rosary. I cried, for his conversion. It is so beautiful!
Hey Keith. I just watched one of your best shows ever. Mind blown. There was a Saint of the internet talking to another. You're both God's gift to Catholicism.
I’m a very proud cradle Catholic by no means am I saying I’m perfect or claim I’m close to being a good Catholic. My hearts fills with joy when I see Journey Home with Marcus Grodi and see how happy and proud he is of being Catholic and all of his guest. When I see how passionate Dr Hahn and Kimberly are about our sacred faith. Thank you all for existing not only Catholic but, all our brothers and sisters of all faiths.

Dr. Hahn has been a great gift to the Church . Look at all his spiritual children who have joined the Church and spread out with excitement to serve Her. All the knowledgeable people ready to help defend Mother Church. And desiring to convert the world & also all the lukewarm Catholics I discovered when I entered 60 years ago. Thank you, Dr Hahn
I'm a year late to the party, but I wanted to express my gratitude for this video which is still pouring out riches. After a weird string of experiences, I'm plucking up courage to head off to the local Catholic Church with a view to exploring conversion, (I've been trying to pluck up the courage for weeks and I think this has helped 😊). So thank you.
I was a cradle catholic and for many years I was lukewarm in my faith. It wasn’t until I met some born again christians who were on fire for their faith, they helped me find a love for the bible and combine that with their arguments against the catholic faith I had left with one other friend. It certainly wasn’t easy for us and my dad kicked me out the house. But I had to follow what I believed in and so I devoured that bible. I was part of a group so on fire that we felt like we were going to change the world and evangelize all peoples. Our numbers grew and others also left their churches to join us. I’ll skip my journey in that group as that can be a whole story in itself. Fast forward, I wanted my catholic friends to join me and so I began studying their faith so I can prepare for any arguments they had. Little did I know how digging deep into church history is not a recipe for finding arguments against the Catholic Church. Skipping the intellectual, it was the Eucharist that got me and I had to come back, again leaving it all behind but gaining so much more. I think God used me and my friends experience to ignite the passion for our faith, not just for me but for my catholic friends too.
To all those that were received into the Catholic Church during the Easter Vigil, "WELCOME HOME." Your journey doesn't end with coming into the church but has just become the beginning of a beautiful journey becoming Spiritually fulfilled.🙏🌹❤🙌
It takes great mercy from God, not intellectualism for a pastor who ministers to many people and has prestige and livelihood attached to his ministry to convert to catholicism where they take a back seat
@@josephssewagudde8156, yes it takes God's mercy to come home. There are many pastors as yourself that have made the journey home to the Catholic faith. Eg: Scott Hahn, Marcus Grodie, Steve Ray, all great pastors who today make a significant difference by informing others about their journey and what brought them home to the Catholic Church. Do yourself a favour and watch Marcus Grove on The Coming Home on TH-cam and read Crossing the Tiber by Steve Ray or Rome sweet Home by Scott Hahn. Listening to this was the way I found out that Thomas Howard died last year, just a few months ago. May he rest in the peace of Christ - his Lord and Savior. I loved listening to Dr. Howard. I also loved this podcast Keith. I was blessed to travel to Rome and Assisi with Scott and Kimberly and Mike Aquinlina in 2007. What a gift he is (as they all are) to the Body of Christ. God bless.

25 -35 years ago it was quite a challenge to be a faithful Catholic in the archdiocese of Milwaukee, makes us strong in faith in the end though I think
It has taken me a lifetime to realise how important Jesus thought his mother was, in that He gave her to us as our mother. A good mother always worries about her weakest and faltering children most. There are millions upon millions of us. Her inner strength had to be enormous to bear the burden that He laid on her as she stood at the foot of the Cross. Praise and thanks be to God for giving us Mary, the perfect woman, as our mother.
I was just returning to church when I discovered Scot Hahn, Marcus Grodi who spoke about God with such enthusiasm and passion it made the Faith so new. God used them to educate this cradle Catholic, 12=years educated in Catholic school young woman. It helped to turn my life around. I still listen to them so I can learn to talk about God in a way that I can do for others what they do for me. It’s a whole new world. Thank you. God bless you all. I just wanted to say that cradle Catholics need you too.
let's all entrust our cares to Saint Joseph, start tomorrow with a novena for his feast day March 19th, let's overwhelm him with our prayers for Holy Mother Church!
Bible Truth of course we are. Listen to these two men for a few minutes and tell me they are not Christian. They are beautiful examples of the Gospel and of Catholics who once were Protestant Christians.
I have always been a catholic and Scott Hahn has helped me so very far to be a loving children of God. I am infinitely grateful to him. Thank you for this: sharing! God bless you all.
Keith and Scott (with an apology for calling your names) I am floored about your truth. Halfway through I did not realize tears are coming from my eyes. I felt so overwhelmed with your conversion. Thank you for having discovered the truth. The Holy Spirit has worked in you both. Welcome to the truth. God bless.
I am an older cradle Catholic. You, Scott Hahn are such a breath of fresh air. I learned the basics of my faith, taught by nuns. But I dove into it later and totally craved more. You opened a door for me with treasure behind it. I learned a lot from evangelicals that rounded out my Catholic faith. I learned to ask Jesus into my heart due to Protestants! I never knew I could have an intimate relationship with Jesus. I love all the faith filled Christians, and Catholics seeking truth! Unfortunately my other Catholic friends and family do not relate to me in faith anymore. I believe that evangelical backgrounds serve to complete the Catholic education we got back in the day. An Evangelical Christian who becomes Catholic is a GEM, since they found the pearl of great price. I am still craving more and getting it more from you. Fire! Yes! I am not your run of the mill older Catholic. I pray for them all especially my kids and grandkids who don’t speak my language. I feel sad that they are into the culture. Please pray for them and all those who don’t know Jesus. 🙏
Last night I thorouly enjoyed watching Scott Hahn's video on Terry Barber's FULL SHEEN AHEAD channel on TH-cam of your story of trying to prove Catholics Wrong, it had me laughing and crying and praying. Protestant converts to the church made the faith more beautiful and meaningful. To be honest, as a cradle Catholic myself, I can appreciate the beauty and the truth about the church through these people. They know why anyone must be a Catholic, I didn't!
Hi Keith, I have been following your channel and learned about your conversion from a Protestant to a Catholic. I'm totally impressed by your courage and perseverence in pursuit of faith and admire your sacrifices all along. May God bless you and your families and reward you abundantly ❤
I have always felt Blessed to be a Cradle Catholic🙏 but you have no idea how listening to you both gives me the strength to shout this from the rooftop, especially living in a country where that isn’t always acceptable 🙏🙏 thank you 🙏🙏
Wow. Great show Keith 👏👏👏 and great respect to Mr. Scott Hahn 💖. You're both an inspiration to all the people who were baptized as roman catholic but was not being faithful to the covenant or to the promises they made. That's why the church needs you both coz you two hears and saw what the catholic faith is all about. "If today you hear his voice, harden not you're hearts". @@frankmez9370 Hi. Thank you for your kind note. That said, keep in mind that I love the Bible and believe it is true. Therefore, when Paul writes, "Whoever preaches a different gospel, let him be accursed," I sit up and notice. From corresponding with many Catholics for a couple of months now, I have learned a lot about the Catholic faith. For example, Catholics seem unanimous in saying that baptism and communion are necessary for salvation. Moreover, no one can have assurance of their salvation. Yet, Paul wrote, "Whoever calls upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved." By contrast, Catholics believe, "Whoever calls upon the Name of the Lord, is baptized Catholic, and partakes of Catholic communion might be saved." It is clearly a different gospel. Thank you for your invite to check out different Catholic sites and events, but I am concerned about following the Word of God. Unless you can reconcile Catholic doctrine with Paul, I would never want to displease the Lord by neglecting the Bible for another gospel. Moreover, if I am right about what Catholics teach, I am extremely concerned for your immortal soul. Again, I was soundly and forever saved when I met Jesus Christ. I was born again, born into the family of God. I am very secure in my friendship with God, as the Holy Spirit bears witness that I am saved (Romans 8.16). I hope that you, too, will have assurance of your salvation from an encounter with Christ. Jesus Christ is the light of the world. May the Lord bless you and yours!

@@kenshiloh You're such a typical Protestant, don't you see how your man-made "religion" has failed and created over 40,000 different Protestant denominations when Jesus said in John 17 he wanted ONE CHURCH. You are going against Jesus Christ wishes. The early Christians would consider you to be a HERETIC. You know the ones who died for Christ. That's right pluck a verse out of the Bible, that gives you the edge over Catholics. Question: But what if the verse I pluck sounds Catholic, then what do you do? Answer: "let me ignore that verse" sounds Catholic. What do you do with this verse in John 6 54 Jesus said, “Unless you eat my flesh and drink my blood you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life and I will raise them up to the last day. My flesh is food indeed my blood is drink indeed.” 1st Corinthians Chapter 11 Let’s look at what St. Paul said, The Apostle Paul wrote, “For I receive from the Lord, what I also handed on to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed, took a loaf of bread, and when he had given thanks, He broke it and said this is my body.” OH I KNOW WHAT YOU SAY, "THIS IS A CATHOLIC SOUNDING VERSE SO WE WILL SAY IT IS NOT TO BE TAKEN LITERALLY". You're all the same, all 40,000 Protestants pluck a verse out of the Bible that fits their Protestant narrative. Then they create a church on a couple of verses they pluck out. Really Pathetic. Is it a wonder the USA is ruled by secularists. Its' easy for them when you Protestants are not unified. Its called divided and conquered and that's what you are. A nation that is divided and conquered by the Left, thanks to Protestantism

When God lead me to check out RCIA. I first learn the Catholic Church was 2000 years old. My mind was blown. That started my journey to becoming Catholic. I had such joy that I could finally say and admit I love Mary. ❤

HELLO! I too was a United Methodist, an ordained deacon, now by the grace of God a Catholic, received into the Church during the Easter Vigil of 2019.
Welcome home!!
Thank God. Welcome home!!!
My return home was 2018!
Bless you, brother!
As a cradle Catholic, I feel ENVIOUS of Catholic converts because of their knowledge and ZEAL for the Catholic faith.
If you want more enlightenment join an RCIA and learn the wealth of scripture, history, and the magisterium of this religion.!!
Agree, i am cradle. Catholic too, and credit is given to those knowledgeable catholic convert
Tbh I’m not sure I ended up typing my (deeper) conversion story.
Wow. God works in mysterious ways.
That is so beautiful!!
💥Viva!🙏
I would haved loved to had a mentor in my past Catholic life there is so much to haved made me stronger faithful servant of OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST AND MOTHER MARY BUT MY DESIRE IS TO BE MORE CLOSER IN MY WALK BY THE WAY I AM A WIDOW WE SERVE A LIVING GOD
When I converted I told my mom that it was because of what she taught me not despite what she taught me that I wanted to know the Lord in a deeper way . I thank God for my faithful protestant mother!
Me too. That's a great way to put it!
My same experience. I’m so grateful for my Protestant upbringing and hope that I can bring those benefits into the lives of my now “cradle Catholic” children
Amen and amen 🙏 😊
This Gentlemen started my conversion and journey with the Catholic Church!
👍👍👍👍🔥💪
That is so amazing!
Welcome back home, sister!
I was a spiritual orphan for so long😭🙏❤️
Welcome home and peace be with you
Welcome. I agree
Welcome home!
Wow! Welcome to the true church of Jesus Christ! God bless you abundantly!
Welcome Home! I returned to the one true Church 17 years ago. Truth is beautiful!
I started to pray the Rosary daily before I could justify it as well! And wow! I wasn't expected it but I saw so much good. Sins vanished of my life and things got in place. Its truly a powerful weapon.
That's what I did before returning to the church, and I had tougher questions than yours. I would hate for you to pat yourself on the back all the way to hell.

@@kenshiloh Of course Jesus is the Light of the World. But let me ask you the following:
What did Jesus mean in "John 20 :22 Then he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.

If it is, then in all love and respect, I urge you to heed Paul's warning, "Whoever preaches a different gospel, let him be accursed."
By way of contrast, I called upon the name of the Lord and all heaven filled my soul.

@KenShiloh I was truly born again in a Protestant church and was what could be termed a “bible thumper”. Covid took me out of church gathering and the Holy Spirit led me to many on fire 🔥 spirit filled Catholic teachers. I’m now back to the church I was raised in. Today’s Catholic Church is way different than what I was raised with. The focus is Gods Holy Word.

@@kenshiloh but it was the Catholic Church that compiled the books of the Bible. Are you saying that they didn't read what they compiled? Lol

Thank you, sweet Motherl

@@kenshiloh Of course Jesus is the Light of the World. But let me ask you the following:
What did Jesus mean in "John 20 :22 Then he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.

God Bless you both Dr.Scott and Mr.Keith...we as catholics were really blessed to have you both in our Faith.
God Bless both of you you brought so many into the church and help me a cradle Catholic to continue to grow in my faith 🙏

Hello Dr. Hahn. I owe Jesus, Mary, you, Tim Staples and Steve Ray a huge thank you. I was received into the Church at Easter of 2010. Best call I ever made. Reading Rome Sweet Home made the journey from Protestant to Catholic a lot easier.
Thank you for this great talking!!! Keith I hope one day we can pray the Rosary with your Dad 🙏🏻 thank you again for what you do!!
How I wish more people, would understand, what Christ did for us. To get to know Mother Mary, what a gift from Christ. Thank you for this show.
I really appreciate how you let your guests finish their thoughts rather than interject yours all the time-like some other hosts I have seen.
This was so edifying!!!! Thank you
GRACIAS GRACIAS
Scott Hahn is a living legend. Great interview
Hopefully he becomes a future saint.
That’s true!!
@@kenshiloh The gospels Catholic teach is the one the Catholics put together.
Question: As a 7 day Adventurists why are you using the bible that the Catholic POPE Damusus I sealed approved and canonized in the late 4th century?
lol a 7th day Adventurist telling a Catholic how to interpret a Catholic book

You're such a typical Protestant, don't you see how your man-made "religion" has failed and created over 40,000 different Protestant denominations when Jesus said in John 17 he wanted ONE CHURCH.
What do you do with this verse
in John 6 54 Jesus said, “Unless you eat my flesh and drink my blood you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life and I will raise them up to the last day. My flesh is food indeed my blood is drink indeed.”
1st Corinthians Chapter 11 Let’s look at what St. Paul said, The Apostle Paul wrote,
“For I receive from the Lord, what I also handed on to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed, took a loaf of bread, and when he had given thanks, He broke it and said this is my body.”
OH I KNOW WHAT YOU SAY, "THIS IS A CATHOLIC SOUNDING VERSE SO WE WILL SAY IT IS NOT TO BE TAKEN LITERALLY".
THANK U. I HAVE SHRED YOUR YOU TUBES WITH MANY (K of C). YOU ARE IN MY PRAYER LIST DAILY.
ALSO I WAS BORN IN MIDDLE EAST, NOW A CHRISTIAN CATHOLIC, AND. AN EVANGELIST (STREET EVANGELIZATION). AMEN, WINDSOR ONTARIO.
Sorry to ask you, is this your real name
