    When I first watched this when he said he was gonna paint the wheel cruiser. I thought he was going to scrape off the paint and then painted a different colour but now I know he’s painted it a better color.X

    Paint to bare aluminum? First use AlumnaPrep 33 followed by alodine then paint, epoxy paint doesn't prevent corrosion as corrosion from a poorly prepared aluminum surface will bubble up and be sure paint doen't contain copper.

    How did your paint job hold up? Just curious as I am painting mine this weekend. Using AlumnaPrep33 (now Bonderite C-IC 33) followed by Alodine.

      hey mine turned out good and is still in good shape, actually when i get the boat out this season i was going to do a 3 year follow up on the paint job, so look forward to that video

    If you would have used a sponge brush you would have been good to go

    how about vapor blasting? Any good for stern drives?

      I don't think there would be a problem, the drive is aluminum so as long as the process doesn't cause any side effects with aluminum you should be alright
