DSG Shunter Transfer, Severe Delays and Hamilton Railfanning ~ 09/05 to 11/05/2023 (HD)

There were three very strange days in a row last week, involving a period of severe disruption on the East Coast Main Trunk and a long power outage on my street because a power pole was being replaced. The rail activity I filmed throughout those three days includes, but is not limited to:
DSG 3249 being transferred to Kinleith
DL 9129 and going back to Mount Maunganui with a cancelled train 334
EFs 30007 and 30140 hauling train 390
DC 4790 on M52 shunt to Waitoa
I also saw the Northern Explorer and Te Huia passenger trains at Hamilton's Frankton station. They were hauled by the usual 'DFB' class diesel locomotives.
