What a great selection of locos. Loving the class 37's.
Not seen many class 20 videos.
The class 20's engines sound like the little baby brothers of the class 37's.
Love it.
Thank you for putting this fantastic video together and sharing with us.
If i'm having a rubbish day...
I just stick this video on, and just lose myself for about 20 minutes. As listen with headphones, nothing can disturb me..!
Great sound.
Stunning visuals.
I dont think my car could accelerate as fast as those two 37's ! What great machines.
A brilliant variety of engines at work 👍 great video 👌.
Fantastic video! Really lovin' those 20s and 37s. 68s sound gorgeous as well. Best wishes from the States!
Thank you! They are one of the favourite classes around the country!
Pacer001 I always thought people preferred the Class 450
Seriously good footage/captures!. Many great machines seriously shifting it. That track cleaner setup is a pure work horse (does some miles). So much so it needs a good clean itself . Great to hear them horn tones and know the driver is acknowledging the train~spotting and filming.
Yes. These not only grumble, they also have a bit of Soot!
Its a shame DRS got rid of their choppers they were fantastic locos, geat video!
I used to behind Paddock Wood railway station & when the all freight train came past it would be heard for miles around!
Nice compilation, thanks for posting!!
Awesome sound quality !
One of the best compilations I've ever seen!
This sounds absolutely 50002 through headphones 👍🏻
Some would say it sounds 68025 though headphones
Stunning Footage, I really enjoyed watching, great locations - I Liked & Subscribed 😎👍
Headphones in volume up eargasums on the way 😍😍😍
Good effort editing this compilation!
That RHTT top and tailed by those two DRS Class 20s is absolutely filthy!!!
...I love it!!!
Awesome collection!
I like how all the other locomotives produce a healthy thrash and then the Class 37 comes along and just destroys the microphone! Excellent footage
+James Rennie Aye yes haha, cheers James.
The 37’s do seem to be the loudest, thrashiest and claggiest of all!
The class 20 and 37's are my favorite loco's. Great video.
My favorite is the br Class 46 , 47 and the Baby Deltics
Yes diesel beats steam any day of the week 🎵🎶👂
Brilliant footage!
The quality of the video and the sound is amazing it’s like you could be on the platform .would you mind telling me what camera you have used on this thanks
Great compilation, Tom!
+Kyle Law Thank you Kyle!
Fantastic video!
Great video, i love the sound and the look of the 20's and 37's
Thank you James.
Agree on the sound of both but I hate the look of the 20's. Each to our own I guess.
What was that one at 13:35 doing hauling 7 brand new LU carriages through Derbyshire?
Nice mix of thrash mate
Superb video!!
Thank you!
Some very interesting locomotives in this video
Like the English Electric engine beat!
1.34 Why do town-planners allow homes to be built so close to noisy railway lines??
Superb Video👍
And the Semaphores depicted in this video, thanks!
Great footage on here Tom...Trevor.''
+Trevor Ledgeway Thank you Trevor.
You need to make 37 thrashes only vid ❤❤
Beautiful!
nice vid, you've been busy!!
Cheers Phil, yes just a bit, nice to see all the varied classes in one video.
4:49 what kind of wagons are those? are they PCAs?
My god this sounds awesome. I've just lost a few fillings.
There aren't enough 47s on the rails anymore. Where can I find them in everyday use?
Love the chops
What class of diesel locomotives are those that look like mainline class 08 shunters?
Class 20s
Why all of the black exhausts? Cheap fuel or bad maintenance? I watch a lot of rail videos and the US EMD’s and GE motors very seldom have any exhaust in view
This was something for my ears, I love the sound of diesel engines :) Are these diesels common in the UK? Regards from the Czech Republic!
Thank you! Some of the classes are quite common yes, such as the 66. Other classes like 20s are a bit harder to find.
Lucky you! I´m sorry that the majority of tracks around my city are already electrified and diesels are rather rare here... But fortrunately, there are at least special trains from time to time with good old thundering engines like T478 or T435 :)
Class 37 its amazing sound
Nice tones
Wow they're motoring, is that because they can see you there filming so it's for show, or it's just another day in the office?
Another day in the office most likely, the linespeeds are fairly big.
Was the horn at 3.21 actually a harmonica? 😝
Awsome😊
Nice film!
The words scrap and yard spring to mind
17:33 One of the crossing barriers didn't go up.
holy shit, at the first one i was like, hmm, that seems familiar and then bam! it is brough station, where im at every day.
Love watching but one observation I have is the length of the trains seems rather light compared to US freights in consist.
The simple explanation is that the UK is a lot smaller, we don't need mile-long freight trains. Not to mention how busy UK railways are in comparison to the US, it would be highly disruptive to have long, slow trains holding up the passenger services.
@@mac6036 Plus of course alot of freight sadly goes by road aswell :( .......in the US it's mostly train or plane.
This single cab ones remind me of the Alco HH660
MississippiRailfan 2004 - English type 1 or class 20
13:37: But what...? A London Underground in open land?
Good Old Diesels that are hard working today
The 56’s can’t be beaten. I remember hearing them through the night in the 80’s probably on coal runs on the Chevington Loop
Lolasdad I love setting car alarms off with a 56!
SUPERB VIDEO! WISH I KNEW THE LOCATIONS, NOT BEING FROM THE U.K.
Mmmm 5 number codes. This is a job for Mr. Turing.
good collection who needs the power hour
Thank you!
I take it the first clip was of a rail cleaner??
1:06 what class loco was that?
@@m-arky9864Doh
omg 48 seconds in!!
Great footage but i wish you handn't edited off the wagons
Best of Britain here. Nobody builds em like us!
But American ones are stronger
But two 37’s is thrashier. And our locos don’t sound like broken microwaves.
roasted
Who the hell cares what they sound like? Do you think I’m offended by that? No I’m not American diesels can pull more further nobody cares what they sound like
Wow.
Good to see the Froddingham Deltics ...😂😂
I love all the little freights by US standards. One engine and 20 cars. Cool.
yep they usually are faster however
We even get a 40 on this, 4:20 or thereabouts.....
20 is a bit marmite, I'm not a fan. Love the English electric brat in a 37, but you can't beat the throaty roar of a sulzer
Lovely thrash
+nathan senior Thank you Nathan.
my dad likes 47s but i like 37s but it was a great video
what type of engine is that at 8 11 pulling freight? it looks American.
fitasafiddle its a class 77
Class 70, 77 was electric.
Its a Class 68 actually, pause it and youll see.
yep deffo a cat
Je trouve les klaxons anglais un peu enroués
omg it's the train thomas the tank engine.
2:53
The locomotives sound great, why the cutesy bird call horns?
The way they were made haha.
this is like [insert day of the diesels song here] day of the diesel
Haha yes, just a bit!
thrashy boi
10:20 manifold leak
bonkey dollocks I wondered what the puffing sound was
@@bjoe385 yea exhaust manifold or possible crack in the manifold
Say "pretty much noise and power"
Pretty much noise and power.
thank you
Morgan Summers masterbation
Fucking smack that smokey beast on full power
Rip the guts out!!!!
what even is a thrash?
Harry Todhunter going full throttle, therefore "thrashing" the engine.
Well in india... even passengers trains are longer then most of these goods trains...🙂
Whoopie do
KUNJ TIWARI , and your point is ?
1.4 billion Indians might have something to do with that!
