I like that you cover the budget and midrange android phones. A lot of other reviewers only want to focus on the flagship androids and iPhones. Budget and midrange devices are so much better now than they used to be and deserve more coverage! Thanks!
Yeah It's back to its roots. A10 series was made to be a compact, affordable entry-level Samsung. Not some oversized phone that's shaped like a literal brick. It's so much more premium for the A15.
Samsung is going with design uniformity on all their phones i think. From a far, you can't tell which phone is which. Especially when they eventually relegate the Amoled displays and punch hole cut outs to the A0's. Every phone is literally going to look the same. I like it.
Love the review on this! Planning on getting an A15 soon, though there's already a listing of A16 specs so we'll see how that one goes when it releases
A12 (Exynos 850 One UI 5.1) on top! I'm using one right now but I'm planning to get the A16 when it gets released since it's the first A series to have the biggest screen at 6.7 inches
@Ash43-j5f I agree with you. For other people, do not underestimate this phone it runs most games at a stable frame rate with a bit of tweaking on developer options and game plugins.
TLDR; I've been using a Galaxy A12 (A125F, made in India) for almost 3 years now. Its in 6/128 configuration and works fine with light use. Unfortunately, the phone suffered two major issues. The first one was on Android 11 after I attempted to enable two features in Accessibility settings, specifically the Slow and Bounce keys. The phone locked up immediately and the only way to recover it's functionality was to do a factory reset through certain volume and power button combinations. I updated the phone to Android 12 (One UI Core 4.1) after the reset. There was also an update for the Accessibility menu which I applied. The second issue is when the motherboard started to overheat and drained the battery more than 33% overnight even when the phone was completely shut down. This happened for over a month until I forgot to charge the phone one night and the battery was completely depleted the next day. After I finished charging the phone, there was no overheating and battery drain for six days until it occured again but this time I didn't allow the battery to reach zero and I charged it normally. The overheating stopped about two and a half hours after charging. Its been over a week now and the phone hasn't overheated to this day. It's very strange, and in my theory, it must have been caused by a certain update or specific firmware aside from Android. I have used two updated antivirus/malware apps but nothing was detected. I'll have to do another reset after the last security update.
I only liked the A1x series from A15 onwards as it had an AMOLED display. Pre-A15 models from A10-A14 had IPS LCD displays with a notch which I don't liked it.
My mom still has her A12 from 2020. It still works decently will, albeit a little slow since it only has 4GB RAM, 64GB ROM. It just goes to show how Samsung has always made quality products
10:16 sadly Samsung it removing 3.5mm on A16, and same will happen with A26. Seems A06 is the only one to keep 3.5mm for now, but updates aside (6 years of OS updates) there is little reason to get A16 above A15, especially because A16 it's launch price in some regions like mine is 229 euro, while A15 4G sits at around 135 euro now days. But even Motorola and other chinese brands start to ditch the 3.5mm on cheaper phones, which is sad. Moto G85 and G75 ditched 3.5mm, while 1 gen before they had it, now G55 and below have 3.5mm... for now. Sad times.
Using A12 with Exynos 850 chipset. Still okay and better than P35 variants. Fun fact is that I can run Genshin Impact properly with low 20fps since 2021.
@securitybase3430 If you have the A14, I suggest you wait for the A16. The A15 is a great phone, but it would be nice to get the A16 since it will have new hardware.
In my region, the A12, A13, and A14 all have 128GB storage and 6GB RAM, whereas the A15 is upgraded further to 8GB and 256GB. The A14 and A15 also come with the cheaper 4G version powered by Exynos 850 and Helio G99, respectively. The A13, however, only available with 4G and an additional ultra-wide camera
I had the A13 5G. Now I have the A14 5G. Both are not perfect phones. But compared to the Samsung budget phones I had before 2018, they are great phones. Budget phones have come a long way. I may buy the A14 5G because it looks like it has a better camera. But I may wait until the new phones are released.
I know this is not one of each that you review but I want to share some thoughts about may samsung A04s and I have this phone for 2 years and Has a android 14 One UI core 6.1 and for me the chipset that they use is exynos 850 and the performance average it can use in daily apps that we use like snapchat tiktok facebook and others it can game but like candy crush and others that not demand high graphics and what I like most in this phone is the camera so Pretty when it comes outdoors shot it can compete in others bugdet smart phone
Alongside buying the Samsung A15 I have bought the Samsung AO5s all within one week since i lost my Samsung A10 while running for the bus last Wednesday morning. I must admit the Samsung AO5s screen looks soft and cinematic unexpectedly. The Samsung A15 is going to be myon tge go editing photography phone when i am doing my personal photography for my self while my more serious photography for on the go editing will be on my laptop or mainly on my Redmi Pad SE Wifi tablet granted i am going to purchase the Redmi Pad SE 4G version to take overseas with me intend to put a 1or 2 TB SD Card in both tablets and a 500 GB SD card in both the Samsung AO5s and Samsung A15. Plus going to give a family member my 258 SD Card to put in there Samsung A12 which has that excellent 3 internall. Card slot. Love android phones they are versatile when used practically.
Did you know if you were to cover the flashlight when its on, in the A15 and A14 devices, it can show an outline of the phone's edges in an darker environment
Maybe you should have considered redoing the A14 after the update instead of mid-update, and/or factory reset the phone to fix its camera. That was not normal behavior - the framerate and audio of that test should not be considered as the phone's typical output. Someone messed up that particular phone in a serious way and honestly you should have tried to fix it before continuing, especially when it was on a phone that is still officially supported.
I actually updated it and reset it and the front facing camera was still messing up for some reason. The rear facing camera however was fine. If you want a camera test on the A14 I have many more on my channel
@@TechRight Oh shoot - that is unfortunate then. I'm glad you have other tests of it at least - hopefully it decides to start working again if you need it for a future video (even though I assume it's unlikely you'd need it for another anytime soon)
If your interested, i'm pretty sure that phone is getting One UI 7 as well, maybe even the A14. Although that was just from a site guessing based on specs and stuff
I dont know why samsung put smaller screen on Galaxy A15 the old A series are bigger than the A15 ai dont know why?Samsung should upgrade A16 and A17 with 6.8 or 6.9 inch screen

Definitely bro they deserve attention 💯
Thanks boss, I appreciate that 😊
They need more attention bro
These are what most people will buy. Good choice in topic material
The gap between the A14 and the A15 speaks volumes
So much difference
Truly...Samsung popped off
I love how you show the cheaper options. All the big tech people just show flagship options. I have an A14 5G.
Please do a01 to a06, that would be very interesting
How surprisingly small the A15 is compared to its previous generations.
Yeah It's back to its roots. A10 series was made to be a compact, affordable entry-level Samsung. Not some oversized phone that's shaped like a literal brick. It's so much more premium for the A15.
The A16 is bigger at 6.7"!
@@langservSmartphones smaller than 6.5 are better and more compact than these phablets at 6.7 and higher
@@Isaac-gh5ku yeah I just bought an A15 at 6.5", rather than the A16 at 6.7"

Thanks for watching 🙏
Please, I want the big comparison between Galaxy A05s vs A04s vs A03s vs A02s
Watching on the A15 5G, absolutely phenomenal phone for the price.
🔥🔥🔥best review ever
Love the review on this! Planning on getting an A15 soon, though there's already a listing of A16 specs so we'll see how that one goes when it releases
I think they should add a punch hole camera on the a16
💯
New renders show It's still the same design. Just thinner bezels all around. Same cameras, same SoC, everything is still the same
Is it possible with lcd screen?
@@sspeedd8809 i hope A16 have a better camera like its other competitor with helio G99
Not gonna happen
7:31 correction the A14 5G has two versions a exynos 1330 varian and the mediatek dimensity 700 variant
Nice Comparison Video! Its cool that one of the phones i have is being reviewed
There was no real reason to get the A12 as once you specced it up to 4GB RAM/64GB RAM it costs almost the same as the A22 4G which was far superior.
Depend on thz country

I think the a12 is good for a 4 yr old phone and it still runs good 👍
@Ash43-j5f I agree with you. For other people, do not underestimate this phone it runs most games at a stable frame rate with a bit of tweaking on developer options and game plugins.

Honestly, i feel like with all the 2mp cameras they could've just taken those off and stuck with one good camera rather than 1 decent and 2 crap ones
The Samsung A12 has two sim card slots and on SD card slots which I wish all phones should have even Samsung higher tier phones do not have that
Is it really that much of an upgrade the A15 from the A13. I heard just stick with the A13 not that much of a difference.
The colors of lcd display of a14 is so good almost like amoled display
