Excluding apple of course 😅 Kind of nuts really as they don't even do proper budget phones, with the base iphone 15 still 60hz. Maybe the 16 will finally get the bump up to 120hz.
I bought an A15 Blue Black on sale for $150. So far battery life is better than flagship phones. Camera is just acceptable, and sometimes it slows down. But for $150 can't complain.
I completely agree with you saying it looks like an expensive phone looking at it from the back. When i first bought it my mom thought it was a thousand dollar phone 😂
I think the simple answer with these A1X devices selling so well is because cheap phones are getting really good. As you said Wade, these phones do a big majority of what the flagships do for way less money. We're living in a big recession with economies everywhere so most want good overall performance for relatively little money. Honestly, I think the A15 5g would've been the perfect budget phone if Samsung had included dual speakers. The processor isn't great but it gets the job done. I don't know anything about the 4g version but it looks pretty solid too.
@@Just4freepremium umm, I hate to be the one to bring you this news but you got your definitions of words wrong. Recession means economic decline. That's the word I intended to use. Inflation is the rate at which prices for goods and services increase over time. I never used "inflation" because my point was people generally have less money because economies all over the world are bad. Another example of internet trolls trying to be smarter than their intelligence and comprehension allows. Nice try.
@@DWtechfanno. I live in the USA. Inflation is high and consumer spending is high. The number 1 consumer country in the world. If inflation is high, and spending is high, there is no recession.
@@thelonewolf70x7in my opinion I see this style much nicer than punch hole which looks ugly to me and I feel like the punch hole phones are just a cheap Chinese stuff missing something in the design even when they are premium phones btw I always enable the cut out option on xiaomi phones to hide the hole that looks like a massive dead spot on the display
There's S24 Ultra and another Samsung phone as well. Apple's in that list cuz their sales are distributed amongst a much lower number of models, unlike Android manufacturers. Doesn't mean Apple sells more phones.
Well, that is a reason for sure, but it's not the only reason. I think the main reason is that it's a good phone while being cheap. There are multiple Chinese phones you can find around the same price or even for lower, but they are nowhere near in the list.
I often wonder if manufacturers really need to ask $1k for a "flagship" smartphone. The cheaper price is obviously why it's selling so well. At least they're keeping budget phones alive.
I mean, it's probably some combination of manufacturing costs and the "market position" they want to be at - top end, flagship, perceived as expensive & full--featured. But does an S24 have like $400+ more worth of components & technology & costs compared to the A15? I can't imagine...
For a lot of them if you add the cost of build, R&D, and marketing costs, the margins are not much higher than they were like 5 years ago. I think it's more indicative of smartphones being stagnant as a category, in the sense that it has become more like PC and laptop markets, there are iterative improvements but nothing that radical to make like 5 year old hardware obsolete.
13:50 That's pretty much it. It isn't just that the tech has gotten better, I feel that people in general are clocking on to the fact that they can get by on a mid-range phone and not really notice any difference. It helps cut costs down for families.
Absolutely! And honestly, most people don't even utilize the full power a flagship phone and all the features they're paying extra for, so why spend the money...?
bought my A15 5G last month in August... its the 8/256 black blue version and add a 256gb sd card.. its is a fine phone and serve me well... yes i put it on dark mode and black wall paper, set the refresh rate to 60h, the battery last for 4 days.. i don't care about the bezel nor the notch.. with nillkin case, the phone is a solid reliable daily driver.. and the picture/video quality honestly suffice for non content creator.. its a great phone.
Sd card, headphone jack, OLED, 4 os updates, fast charging, 90hz, great design. Take my money already I use the white version and I time to time take it out of the case and I've gotten so many people wanting to buy the same phone because it looks very good The cameras are decent and even though I have a few friends who use much expensive phones they complement the pictures coming out of the device and they have no issues with me using this device to take a few shots of them. The videos definitely aren't that great tho 😂 People usually ask if im using the premium version of apps because the inky blacks makes most apps look different This is the phone that everybody needs. No unnecessary gimmicks
Thanks for taking the viewpoint of the ordinary smartphone user for this review. As a result, you've given a balanced review that's relevant to the majority of smartphone users. Most reviews judge these lower-priced smartphones using the expectations of expensive, sophisticated flagship phones. Therefore, the budget phones end up sounding like clunky, substandard phones with laggy screens and mediocre cameras. That's just not true. The current budget phones are way more capable than their equivalents of the past. I bought a Samsung A14 5G last year (the predecessor to the Samsung A15 5G) to replace a Samsung J2 Pro from 2018. I was shocked how advanced the A14 5G was compared to the J2 Pro. The A14 5G has basically taken over most of the tasks I used to do on my laptop. E-mails, streaming videos using service-dedicated apps, video conferencing, reading e-books and magazines, borrowing audio books and magazines from the public library, photography, GPS satnav - and probably a few other things I can't recall at the moment. The camera was more than good enough. The Samsung A15 5G will be an incremental improvement on the Samsung A14 5G - things just keep getting better. These cheaper phones are perfectly fine for most people, unless they have a specialized use for them, for example, high end photography or videography, or playing hardware demanding games.
Got my father-in-law one. He went from the Galaxy S10, and he doesn't really know the difference. He really likes it. 👍🏽 All he does is call, text, and occasionally check the news. He's 75.
ive owned this phone for a decent couple of months, honestly really liked it. its a bit jittery now and then as u would expect, but performance is still surprisingly smooth most of the time. im replacing it soon with the nothing phone 2a simply bcs im not a big fan of the current one ui and wanna try out the near stock android experience the 2a offers, but for anyone looking for a sub 200 dollar phone thatll work well in every department, i higjly recommend the A15 and CMF Phone.
If they made a foldable version of the A series i would probably buy it every time. At a base level, i'm not doing anything on my phone that requires ultra level performance. I don't use the cameras that much and i don't game on my phone. I do enjoy foldables to much to even drop down to even the ultra though. A cheaper foldable with these components at $600 would be right up my alley.
@@TechDaily Thanks for the suggestion. Actually manged to get a Fold 2 on deep discount from Amazon years ago. It's what got me hooked on foldables. I just wish there was an entry level device for people who like the function of a foldable and not the power or tech.
My sister has the A15 5G, and it seems like a good deal. She didn't complain about it yet. She previously had the A41 for context. In general, both A15s are very good phones in comparison to the A14 Line-up. Both with amoled, better Chips and (according to Dxomark) a pretty solid camera setup. Plus, finally, they don't come with OneUI Core anymore and support 25 Watt charging.
It just needs stereo speakers and it would be perfect. I have a Samsung a35 and I see that the colors on the a15 are darker like the vast majority and it has a better signal due to its processor.
The thing I love about the Samsung Galaxy A15 4G that I have is that I can put apps to sleep or deep sleep. I can control how much apps runs in the background, I can use ram plus to use my storage is virtual ram and let the background apps run on the virtual ram. It has a great amoled screen(i don't use the 90hz), I can play gameboy games, clash of clans, etc pretty easily, I can reduce the battery charge from 100% to 80% to extend battery life and the list goes on. I even get 5 years of security patches, what more can a person ask for. It's everything a normal person needs and more. The camera is also good. If there are people that wants more then go for the Samsung Galaxy A35, that is the other top seller this year since that phone also has good value for the money.
Personally doesnt really care about bezels, at the minimum just make it all symmetrical just like iPhone XR or 11, I hate sometimes the flagship went so thin and it's hard to find a cheap screen protector and case because they are not fitted well.
The bezels being asymmetrical have more to do with the screen not being "folded" at the bottom with the connectors underneath. The cheap phones use cheap, older screen tech while the new phones try to maximize space and screen size.
@@ilyamakarchuk that’s my next phone to get It will be a Christmas gift to myself The 52 was so good I skipped 53&54 but 55 looks completely different So I’ll have it soon
S-series never sell well because the value for money 💰 A-series provides is INSANE!! Because at over $500 most people prefer iPhones over S-series because except for US, Canada & China Samsung charges the same price for Exynos Flagships as the Snapdragon variants as you people pay. So, like you pay the same amount but just get an inferior version 🤡. Here in India especially people are preferring S23 over S24 as Samsung launched S24 series again on Exynos after S23 Snapdragon sales were so good 💀😂. They're just ruining their own market by just doing this discrimination because I believe like the Flip and Fold series Samsung should launch their S-series globally on Snapdragon.
@@devilkazumi578 You're saying this because you have the money to buy Ultra buy what about the people who have the budget for the base S24, they pay the same price as US and get the inferior Exynos variant every year. So, who'll be interested to buy a Smartphone band's one of the top tier phone with this partially 😮💨
@SanketRoy_27 honestly it's no different than iphones selling a $900 phone that has 60 hz refresh rate and the same processor as last year.....crazy how ppl criticize androids so much but let iphones get away with so much
I got A13 at work as my work phone, makes sense it is cheap and all it is meant to do is calls. I asume many companies do the same and get it for their workers.
Dimensity 6100+ is really not a newer soc. Mediatek has at least 10 different versions with different names of the same SOC they've been shipping phones with for the past 4 years. They just add features like 120hz, 5g to an old SOC and call It new. The exynos chip on the older model is actually much more powerful than this.
The meditek dimensty 6300 is 10 percent faster in GPU and provides 13 percent more fps than the dimensty 6100 plus. The dimensty 6300 is coming to the galaxy a16 in December and while 10 percent doesn't seem like that much its still a performance upgrade
some people not like exynos cause issue something like overheating but for me exynos is good but i used exynos 5420 in 2020 to 2023 it overheating a lot
I have the A14 5G. The phone operates awesome. The camera is the only weak point though. It doesn't do great unless the lighting is perfect. It works fine for what I paid for it. $98.
I have bought a similarly priced Samsung phone to the A15/A14/A13 two years ago. What I bought was a brand new half price A53 5G phone 6 months after it was released. Thanks to reviewers criticising the performance of the A53 5G which brought the price down I got a phone that performed better than an A15/A14/A13 for a similar price. I use my A53 5G with cheap wired USB C earphones which play music well. The advantage of all large smartphones is that the large screen hides a large battery. All A series phones have large screens which is the reason for their good battery life.
You got a great phone for a great price! Most of the super techy folks criticized performance because they don't like Samsung's Exynos processors, but its not a huge deal if you arent gaming 24/7
@@TechDaily My A53 plays the Elder Scrolls Blades well and the OLED screen shows detail in dark caves. I have yet to find a game which seems slow on my A53.
If I was not obsessed with tech specifications, I would happily main this phone because it covers everything I need in a phone and it is inexpensive while looking premium.
Something that I like from samsung is that offer you Quality and "dignity" despite the Price. From the A05 to the Ultra or Fold are great values Phones.
I appreciate the matter-of-fact and sound opinion of this Samsung A15 mobile phone. I am in the midst of deciding whether or not to purchase the A15 LTE for my mom. Now, after watching this video clip, I am convinced that this is indeed, more than a good budget phone 'that isn't a thousand bucks'! "This phone could be powered by a Mediatek Banana and people would still probably prefer it over anything ex-Zenos"...love the wit! Presently, I am aslo considering to buy a new mobile phone that has good camera and audio features. I have found both Sony Xperia VI and Sony Xperia 10 VI better options as both have a video editing feature too. Please advise. Thank you.
For years, i tested the Redmi Note series, because this was the only way to have a amoled-screen under 200 euros... I think in april i got the a15 4g for only 125 euros. I had to test it, and didn't regret it. The cameras with their punchy colours is exactly what i love, and the soc speed is what i would expect in this price range. Sadly i have the 4gb version, and it shows - there are a lot of stutters and you have to be patient, for opening the camera app for instance. Then i shortly testes the a25 - and i must say, this is performance wise clearly the better phone. You can get it "used new" for about 100-120 euros here in germany, and that'a a no brainer.
I seen that you did a video of the best Samsung phone to buy but it was like 3 years ago? Would love to see in updated version of the best Samsung to buy or the best Android to buy where you break down several phones.
budget-midrange phones are getting REALLY GOOD nowadays. android brands such as infinix, xiaomi, etc. offer midrange phones that are seriously bang for your buck, with many even having better builds and specs than the a15 itself! in a time where economies all around the world are REALLY struggling, people simply want/need a phone that can have just about a little of everything they need. and in my opinion, the reason why the a15 is a best seller is because, well.. it's samsung. ofc people are gonna buy it for the brand and (debatably) the quality that samsung has for their mobile devices.
That’s what I’ve noticed a lot of people saying - they buy it because it’s Samsung, and that makes some sense. I think internationally, there’s that brand recognition & “prestige” but in the U.S. it’s because it’s our only Android option basically lol
With samsung offering 7 years of updates on some flagships, it opens up more possibilities, where you can buy an older flagship for under $400 and still have it for 5 years which is realistically about how long people keep their phone
I wish y'all stop with the whole iPhone social status nonsense. iPhone is not a social status anymore. I currently live in a Washington DC area. I see tons of broke people with iPhones in the hood, it's not an elitist phone anymore when people who don't have jobs have iPhones, it's the air Jordan shoes of phones. If anything my Samsung s23 ultra or Samsung ultra phone in general is more of a status phone, because I rarely see people with it and when i see people with a ultra phone it's mainly people downtown Washington DC when i go to my second job. I don't see people in the hood on welfare with Samsung Ultras phones like i see them with iPhones 13, 14, and 15
@pp3k3jamail I wish youd stop thinking for yourself....an iphone is still a social status in certain parts stop being shallow minded you're only thinking about washington
I'm really learning how video making and agenda selection can make people watch any other phone's features. Like LITERALLY. If MKBHD (or this ashish chanchalani look-a-like) create a video on any other phone people are gonna watch it not for the phone but for the well put agenda. Thanks man
The reason why this is so popular is almost none of the reasons stated in this video. Sure, it *is* cheap, but it's not the best-value phone under $200. Many Chinese phones can *easily* run this down to the bin with 120hz Oled displays, stereo Speakers, better cameras, and even 256GB UFS storage. Why the A10s are so popular is because it's *SAMSUNG.* It's a *very* trusted brand, unlike many others. The average consumer knows how long Samsung has existed. They've seen it on Social Medial platforms, heard things about it, and seen their products on TV. To top it all off, despite the godawful software optimization and lack luster almost everything else, their software support is very much appreciated by a handful of the A10s' dedicated users. Expect 3-4 years of OS updates, even on their budget devices like the A15. Most of them CN devices don't even get more than a year of software support. Even Oppo's $300 devices from 2022 didn't get Color OS14, yet Samsung's are on OneUI 6. So, no. It's not because "Nobody's gonna chuck a thousand dollars for stagnant Samsung device." You literally showed us a graph where Apple, another brand that's even more notorious for stagnation, is dominating the market. Just like Apple, Samsung has built a solid community with its low-end device, hence why it always sells like hot cakes.
due to update policy by different brand some device series only get 1-2 major update some not ex:samsung a0x series it only get 2 major update and 3-4 security update cheap xiaomi series like redmi a3/a4 only get 1 major update other cheap series get 2 major about oppo i don't know much but like my dad reno 6z 5g it get 2 update major from 11 to 13 that all i only know about it may..
Samsung's brand loyalty & recognition is definitely a factor - probably bigger than the reasons I explained. But saying "people bought this Samsung phone because it's a Samsung phone" doesn't make for a great explanation or video. The more in-depth answer to "because it's a Samsung" is (here in the U.S.) "and people don't have a second choice." For the rest of the world, considering the CN brands, I'm surprised those aren't more popular.
Software support is a big thing in Samsung's favour. Though I doubt how much the average user (not vocal enthusiasts) in this segment cares about it. I've seen people who never bother doing os updates, certainly not a majority but they do exist, especially among the target demographic of these kinda devices (eg- someone in a country like India) where the user probably doesn't have a fixed broadband internet connection at home and relies entirely on mobile data plans, using up like 700 mb-1 gig for a major update can be considered an annoyance by such a user. Among CN brands only Xiaomi and Oneplus have a consistent update policy but vary a lot by the price segment of the device (usually one major update and two year security updates for budget devices) from my understanding, others are very inconsistent and some even frequently go back on their promises, but that still hasn't stopped people from buying such brands (eg- Oppo, Vivo, and infinix budget devices).
Bought this phone as a cheap replacement for my old broken one and I can't complain, it is a little slow and the camera is not good, but you get what you pay for.
Honestly instead of uneven, thick bezels like these, I wished phone manufacturers would just bring back the old phone design instead. So there won't be any camera notch. Like my Galaxy Note 3 has a lower screen-body ratio but it still looks more premium.
@@olawale4280 I already gave my 2013 Samsung Galaxy Note 3 an example 😭 But basically literally any phone before 2016. iPhone 8 and older, Samsung S6 / Note5 and older, etc.
I agree 💯 this is why I rather stick to older phones because the only one that's not following this stupid trend with the hole in the screen is Sony but their phones are way to overpriced and they aren't really that good
My mother bought the A15 4G back in March, and it's a great phone for her. The 90Hz screen is nice, and with the AMOLED screen, it's even better. I have the A55 5G and I was comparing the 2 and if people dont care about specs (most of them don't) then it's a great buy. Especially if you don't do gaming. It can run NFS on low to medium graphics just fine, too.
The A15 is really worth it, for its price it's more than great (I'm using it right now) But any A1x before it is really bad, it's a little wierd those devices really sold that much, the A24 for example was a way better deal
Nope , S22 is way better than A15 , in too many points : _ Better Processor _ Better Storage and RAM type _ Better screen quality _ Better cameras And the list goes on
It's a good phone other than performance. I tried using it and it's too slow for most consumers. If you only use it for calls, texts, and pictures with occasional app usage it's fine. In my opinion, they should have put One UI Core on this. The performance would probably be better with that software.
@@afanasibushmanov7463 'Most' consumers will absolutely be fine with this phone. Yes, It's kinda slow but not everyone has experienced a flagship. People jumping ship from a budget or midrange phone to this will not notice the performance difference at all.
I don't think it is %90 as good. It's more like %60 to %65. After a year of usage this phone will be useless. Constant lagging and bug will occur. It will take 3 seconds to even take a photo. Yes it is cheap and promessing but it won't last long. I mean these will effect anyone (not just "pro" users) who uses it.
I have a buddy of mine that uses the A15 5G, recently bought it and was so darn happy about it. I was so confused, and felt like, "you could've taken an A55 and it will be better". But after seeing how he's just a simple dude who goes on with life normally with a steady and relatable life of a student/ part time worker, it kinda hits me. He's just so simple and couldn't care less about these techy stuff. The phone was everything he could've ask for, and for the record, I'm using a OnePlus Ace 3 (the chinese version of the OnePlus 12R). Now, I'm not saying I'm not happy with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 carrying my gaming addict, it's certainly something I could ever dream for. But seeing how another guy so close to you, who uses a cheap phone and can just be as happy (if not, happier) because they don't have to sweat on something so expensive, I kinda envy them (in a good way, ofc). I wished I could be the simple guy I was 4 years ago, using a Realme C3 and was completely happy with what it has to offer. I'm too far deep into the tech life, and I know I can't change it. I'm so used to the 120hz and all of those fast-charging, hundreds of thousands, even millions of Antutu Benchmark pointers, snappy and fluid display, flashy exterior design with a software that wows anyone who clicks on "About Device". But it is what it is. So for folks out there who uses a "cheap" phone as your daily driver, be proud. You really have a happier life than most people without even realizing it.
I've spent most of my adult life on a Samsung phone. S4, S6 Edge+, S7 Active, Note 8, S20+. I'm tired of them. They've become the Apple of the android world and are releasing the same thing slightly upgraded every year. No more crazy cool improvements. Which would be fine, if they were getting slowly cheaper. But they're only getting more expensive. I'm on a Nothing Phone 2 now, and I'm in love with it. It's nice to see a company trying to innovate and earn customers again.
@@Carnage_Lot what more can they possibly do at this point? They're adding AI features to their high end phones. What else is there to do besides adding AI?
@@afanasibushmanov7463 there is plenty they can do to innovate. But that cuts into their bottom line. They'll start to realize once people stop buying their phones every year and just holding on to the one they've got. Now that we're reaching that peak, there are other avenues of improvement that have to be explored. AI is useless for most folks on a smartphone.

Makes sense, the best selling phone is the affordable one with good features, not everyone can afford a $1000 phone, I mean duh! As someone who loves and owned phones from the S, Note (discontinued) and more recently the A series, they have grown on me, each series has different price rangers of course, and varies in available features but all three are solid phones honestly, it just depends on your budget and what you want from your phone, so just be aware of that before buying and whatever you do, do not listen to those who compare a mid-range phone with a high-end one and then say that the high-end one is way better smh, I mean we all compare a Prius to a Rolls Royce when we wanna buy the former.
I really Really Hope that Samsung watches this video and learn from the data of the best selling smartphones and ditches Apple's bandwagon! Flagship phones as we all know that have the better bells and whistles, they've gotten "forced" over the years as Samsung was (and is) quietly removing the bread and butter features that consumers want. I can remember back 5 years ago when I bought my Samsung Galaxy S10e for under $800.00, solid phone, well packaged that still had the headphone jack, headphones, charger in the box and it even included a case as well. That phone being part of the S10 series yet below it's older brothers removed certain features but kept all the necessary in that package, Including 3 years of support for OS and Security. That was also a time that Samsung "Listened more to their consumers" and "Paid Attention To Detail"! This Samsung Galaxy A15 reminds me of the S10e, the only difference, by adding 1 more year for OS updates and 2 more years for Security Updates. We are living a time where the budget and mid-ranger phones are telling consumers, "Psssst! Hey! come this way, we got something cooking for you!" Earlier this year, my Dad bought himself a Samsung Galaxy A25 and He Loves that phone! It was the best $260 he ever spent! It gives him All what he needs especially since he is not tech savy!
Samsung sees the data for sure - that's why they absconded the A7x Series, they didn't bring the A55 to the U.S., and they keep releasing the FE. They DO NOT want people buying these cheap phones, especially in the U.S., but people keep choosing them because the S Series is overpriced and not that much better.
Bought it and it was laggy af. And for the fanboys who will go on about the value for the price, no. There are Chinese brands who can deliver better performance on models of the same price range.
@@TechDaily idk guys. You guys are supposed to be the land of the free. How did we end up with you asking a random Asian on the internet about the options you have because a Korean company is charging a bit too much on an otherwise cheap phone? You guys can handle this yourselves. I believe in you. Doesn't make A15 any better.
It's being bought by third world countries with populations far more than any other countries, hence contributing to the global sale amount. These people do not have the spending power to get a flagship or even the A30-A50 series. That's why cheap Chinese brands like Xiaomi continue to dominate global sale amounts and the A15 fits into the budget of these markets. Plus being a Samsung, it offers guaranteed 4 years updates unlike Chinese brands.
That’s probably a big part of it, but interestingly enough Xiaomi had a couple best-sellers a few years ago but hasn’t made the list in a while. Not sure why, but perhaps the brand recognition is playing a big part for Samsung now
One thing that shoks you at first with these phones is the battery life its outrageuos easily heading for 2 days of battery life with 7-8 hours use a day its just great mine did get worse over time but that is probably due to viruses ect
My s24 was stolen and I had no insurance so I went to Amazon to by a cheap unlocked replacement phone (first time buying cell phone outside of retail store). Came across this one and was shocked at how far cheap phones have come. I was even more surprised at how good looking it was when unboxing (I have that light blue one). Finding out it was fast charging was a fluke because I just used the same charger I had for the s24. And performance wise I'm not seeing a huge difference because I am the avg everyday user. I probably won't buy a flagship phone again lol.

I don't know anything about the 4g version but it looks pretty solid too.
Recession?? Who, where? I see inflation. Inflation means the economy is doing well.
@@Just4freepremium umm, I hate to be the one to bring you this news but you got your definitions of words wrong. Recession means economic decline. That's the word I intended to use. Inflation is the rate at which prices for goods and services increase over time. It's cheap, and that's why it's popular. If you look at that list the rest of the phones on it are iPhones. Only android is the A15.
If iphones were allowed and afforded worldwide, they'd be the only on the list.
There's S24 Ultra and another Samsung phone as well. Apple's in that list cuz their sales are distributed amongst a much lower number of models, unlike Android manufacturers. Doesn't mean Apple sells more phones.
Try the M35. I think it's exclusive to India only.
Well, that is a reason for sure, but it's not the only reason. I think the main reason is that it's a good phone while being cheap. There are multiple Chinese phones you can find around the same price or even for lower, but they are nowhere near in the list.
The A13 and A14 were the same last year and the year before. Cheap and functional.
@@TechDaily It's sort of nuts really. Even on a phone carrier you could opt for two A55 for about the same cost as a single S24 (non ultra).

What about a used or renewed Z Fold from Amazon?

Seems like a good combination of specs! Surprised to hear she had the A41 - kind of an odd phone
It just needs stereo speakers and it would be perfect. I have a Samsung a35 and I see that the colors on the a15 are darker like the vast majority and it has a better signal due to its processor.
The lack of stereo speakers is really weird - can't imagine it would've been that expensive to add lol

Weird omission right? Like it was probably a $0.02 speaker they could’ve added and just didn’t lol
Cheap phones are so good now it's practical to live with. Phones for most people are just tools. For us tech nerds, it's a different story overall.

S-series never sell well because the value for money 💰 A-series provides is INSANE!! Because at over $500 most people prefer iPhones over S-series because except for US, Canada & China Samsung charges the same price for Exynos Flagships as the Snapdragon variants as you people pay. Here in India especially people are preferring S23 over S24 as Samsung launched S24 series again on Exynos after S23 Snapdragon sales were so good 💀😂.

You can get it "used new" for about 100-120 euros here in germany, and that'a a no brainer.

budget-midrange phones are getting REALLY GOOD nowadays. android brands such as infinix, xiaomi, etc. offer midrange phones that are seriously bang for your buck, with many even having better builds and specs than the a15 itself! in a time where economies all around the world are REALLY struggling, people simply want/need a phone that can have just about a little of everything they need.
and in my opinion, the reason why the a15 is a best seller is because, well.. it's samsung. ofc people are gonna buy it for the brand and (debatably) the quality that samsung has for their mobile devices.
That’s what I’ve noticed a lot of people saying - they buy it because it’s Samsung, and that makes some sense. I think internationally, there’s that brand recognition & “prestige” but in the U.S. it’s because it’s our only Android option basically lol

Superamoled, 90hz, 256gb of storage, 8gb of ram G99/Dimensity 6100+ for 150-120 bucks
Why the A10s are so popular is because it's *SAMSUNG.*
It's a *very* trusted brand, unlike many others.
Just like Apple, Samsung has built a solid community with its low-end device, hence why it always sells like hot cakes.
due to update policy by different brand some device series only get 1-2 major update some not
ex:samsung a0x series
it only get 2 major update and 3-4 security update
cheap xiaomi series like redmi a3/a4 only get 1 major update other cheap series get 2 major
about oppo i don't know much but like my dad reno 6z 5g it get 2 update major from 11 to 13
that all i only know about it may..
Motorola's budget/midrange get only a year or two of support.
@@PinkAgaricusI think Moto are upping this to 5 years os and security updates on their new devices

I have the Samsung A15 4G LTE Latin model it's good for 90hz and 1080p screen
The only reason people were buying new phones every year was because they had huge jumps in performance and features. Now that we're reaching that peak, there are other avenues of improvement that have to be explored.
AI is useless for most folks on a smartphone.
It's a phone dude. Don't know what you expect from them. Samsung is the King of Android and will remain the same. What I do not no get bored is have 2 phones, and iPhone and a Samsung.
@@jgadiaz there are plenty of things they can do to improve. They just don't feel the need. And I doubt they'll stay at the top. They've been losing market share to others for the past 4 years.
Because other companies are innovating. Trying new things. Trying to be the next breakthrough in mobile tech. Samsung is just trying to keep investors happy. All companies who do this eventually fail.
@@Carnage_Lot not a hater but I don't see the innovation in other brands. Most of them have remained the same over the years. If it is, good cause competition forces everyone to do better.
I have a samsung galaxy a14 and its pretty good i love that it have a big battery and its chap im happy with this phone and im glad i make the right choice
I've had one a few weeks ago. Now I've gotta Galaxy S24 Ultra. Much better device 😊
Lmao yeah that’ll be much better 😅
Who cares about galaxy ai and all that shit? Also it does not have a headphone jack which sucks.
And ten times the price...
Shit I found out I don't live on Earth.
I almost wanna get this phone for a secondary phone just because!!. Will you be reviewing the pixel 9 series soon?
Probably, but I'm waiting for the Team Pixel drama and paid creator videos to die down a little.
Makes sense, the best selling phone is the affordable one with good features, not everyone can afford a $1000 phone, I mean duh!
As someone who loves and owned phones from the S, Note (discontinued) and more recently the A series, they have grown on me, each series has different price rangers of course, and varies in available features but all three are solid phones honestly, it just depends on your budget and what you want from your phone, so just be aware of that before buying and whatever you do, do not listen to those who compare a mid-range phone with a high-end one and then say that the high-end one is way better smh, I mean we all compare a Prius to a Rolls Royce when we wanna buy the former.
actually Dimensity 6100+ almost the same as Dimensity 700 or so call the 6nm version of Dimensity 700 (released at late 2020)
Bought a A15 4g . Great phone for the price , after some adb bloatware cleaning.
Most definitely - you can clear out literally 20 apps lol
you should try A06 next, i think it's A15 4G alternative with even lower price
I've got it on order don't worry 😉
Hey good review I think it's probably worth hunting for the a15 that has 6 gigs of RAM as that would make a difference.
I agree - some eBay sellers offer the different configuration options which is nice
But are those Chinese brands reliable?
Within the U.S., we don't get those other options...what should we do??
Get a Galaxy A35 5G it’s 400$ & can often find it for 300$ and worth the extra money.
I would get this phone with at least 6GB RAM. I have an A13 5G, 4GB version. It's rather slow upon startup and gets occasionally slow on some things.
Also OneUI is rather bloated (more bloated than TouchWiz lmao) so with 4GB, you practically have less than a gig available for apps
