thank you for sharing I'm doing the same thing but in my case been almost a year due to my job & weather conditions don't have garage but so far i took the valve body tech out i have the replacement so soon I'm going to installed i ben watching tons of videos cause I'm doing the job myself also I'm not a mechanic, you doing great job sometime we forgot thing that's how we lean thanks again

Serious question. What happened with the p0700 code at the end? It didn’t sound like a programming issue but did sound like a defective shift solonoid? My thoughts were that if needing programming the vehicle wouldn’t start and or definitely would go into gear and be drivable. Is this accurate?
dude i should have watched this first. i did the same thing today, forgot to connect the shifter to the valve body. got everything installed and it wouldn't start. and little information. when you don't connect that and its not in the right position the ecu will not communicate with any diagnostic tools at all, like no connection whatsoever. so i thought the ecu was shorted out and ordered another one before i had the idea this might be the problem. i went as far as pulling the ecu and desoldering it to figure out what burnt out. i was so mad.

What made you change the valve body? I had a mechanic tell me 3k to drop trans and replace valve body lol after looking up the part and doing my research i would have got robbed
Is this transmission the same as a all wheel drive transmission?
Did you have to just clear the keep memory alive data on the scan tool? I ordered mine to be registered to my vin so I think all I need to do is take my scan tool and have it recal that I replaced the valve body correct?
Where did u order your valve body?
So did you get jurking shifts between gears?! 1 to 2 and 2 to 3....
did you have a fast adapte? reprogram the Tehcm?

I'm not surprised that the gears keep giving up who builds the exhaust system like this 🙈 the hotter the gear, the faster the oil burns, a tip cut out one pipe from the exhaust and move it to the back on the other side and the gear oil stays clean and burns longer not !
Is they the same year ? Or can be from 2013 to 08 ? Or has to be same year when replace with another one of ebay
my transmission feels weird, when I put it into drive it goes to 500 rpm and it feels like it’s gonna turn off and then it goes between 550 and 600 what do y’all think is my problem?
At what point did you get the module programmed. Can you drive it to the dealership or does it have to be towed for this flashing.
You can drive it but it will be in limp mode

Yes, it has to be reprogrammed before driven

Once I install my 2007 escalate valve body do I need to reprogram it or does it return on his own by doing several steps neutral to reverse reverse to neutral on and on.

Working on a 2007 with no com from the tcm. Isn't the tcm inside the transmission on the 2007? I'm getting mixed info and I do have data lines going to round tranny plug like you unhooked.
